【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、湯分岐孔および/または水分岐孔を有する混合水栓から食器洗い機や浄水器等の水使用機器への配管に用いられる分岐継手に関する。

【従来の技術】
例えば台所の流し台の上に食器洗い機や浄水器を設置する場合、流し台用の混合水栓から取り出した湯または水を使用するのが一般的である。

図5〜7は、台所の流し台(S)における混合水栓(M)から食器洗い機(D)への分岐配管構造の従来例を示すものである(例えば、特許文献1参照)。混合水栓(M)は、シングルレバー式のものであって、流し台(S)の天板(S1)における水槽(S2)の後方部分に取り付けられている。この混合水栓(M)は、左側部に開口した湯分岐孔(M1)と、右側部に開口した水分岐孔(M2)とを有している。湯分岐孔(M1)は、混合水栓本体(M10)内の湯導入路(M3)に通じており、水分岐孔(M2)は、混合水栓本体(M10)内の水導入路(M4)に通じている。両分岐孔(M1)(M2)は、雌ネジ(M11)(M21)を有している。一方、食器洗い機(D)は、流し台(S)の天板(S1)における水槽(S2)の左側部分に設置されている。そして、混合水栓(M)の水分岐孔(M2)に分岐継手(500)を介して分岐管(P)の基端部が接続され、分岐管(P)の先端部が食器洗い機(D)の水導入口(図示略)に接続されている。分岐継手(500)の左端部には、水分岐孔(M2)の雌ネジ(M21)にねじ込まれる雄ネジ(501a)を有する分岐孔接続口部(501)が形成されている。分岐継手(500)の右端部には、雄ネジ(502a)を有する分岐管接続口部(502)が形成されている。分岐管接続口部(502)には、一端部に分岐管接続口部(502)の雄ネジ(502a)にねじ嵌められる袋ナット(601)を有しかつ他端部に雄型継手(図示略)を有する開閉バルブ(600)を介して、雌型継手(P1)を有する分岐管(P)の基端部が着脱自在に接続されている。混合水栓(M)の湯分岐孔(M1)は、該分岐孔(M1)の雌ネジ(M11)にねじ込まれる雄ネジ(P1)を有する栓(P)により、閉鎖されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述した分岐配管構造にあっては、図7に示すように食器洗い機(D)が混合水栓(M)の水分岐孔(M2)とは反対の側に設置されている場合、ホース等よりなる分岐管(P)が折れ曲がって、通水不良を起こしたり、開閉バルブ(600)のハンドル(602)と干渉するおそれがあった。

本発明の目的は、分岐管を接続すべき混合水栓の湯または水分岐孔とは反対の側に水使用機器が設置される場合であっても、分岐管が折れ曲がることなく配管することが可能な分岐継手を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段および発明の効果】
本発明による第1の混合水栓用分岐継手は、一側部に開口した湯分岐孔および他側部に開口した水分岐孔を有する混合水栓のいずれか一方の分岐孔から、該分岐孔とは反対の側に設置される水使用機器へ配管する際に用いられるものであって、
一端部に前記一方の分岐孔に接続される分岐孔接続口部を有し、他端部が閉鎖され、かつ長さ中間部に外周面に開口した連通孔を有する第1継手部材と、
一端部に他方の分岐孔に嵌め込まれる分岐孔閉栓部を有し、他端部に分岐管の基端部が接続される分岐管接続口部を有し、かつ長さ中間部に外周面に開口した連通孔を有する第2継手部材と、
両端部が前記連通孔に通じるように第1継手部材および第2継手部材に接続される第3継手部材とを備えている。

上記の混合水栓用分岐継手にあっては、分岐管の基端部が接続される第2継手部材の分岐管接続口部が、水使用機器と同じ側を向く。したがって、本発明による第1の混合水栓用分岐継手によれば、分岐管を接続すべき混合水栓の湯または水分岐孔とは反対の側に水使用機器が設置される場合でも、分岐管が折れ曲がらないので、分岐管が通水不良を起こしたり、分岐管が開閉バルブの操作ハンドルと干渉するといった問題が生じる恐れがない。また、本発明による第1の混合水栓用分岐継手によれば、第2継手部材の分岐孔閉栓部によって、使用しない方の分岐孔を塞ぐことができるので、該分岐孔を塞ぐ栓を別途用意する必要がなく、部品管理等も容易になる。

図1および2には、本発明の第1の実施形態が示されている。この実施形態は、本発明による第1の混合水栓用分岐継手を、台所の流し台における混合水栓から食器洗い機への分岐配管に使用したものである。

図1および2に示す混合水栓用分岐継手(101)は、左側部に開口した湯分岐孔(M1)および右側部に開口した水分岐孔(M2)を有する混合水栓(M)の水分岐孔(M2)から、該分岐孔(M2)とは反対の左側に設置される食器洗い機(D)へ配管する際に用いられている。この分岐継手(101)は、左端部に水分岐孔(M2)に接続される分岐孔接続口部(21)を有し、右端部が閉鎖され、かつ長さ中間部に周面に開口した連通孔(22)を有する第1継手部材(2)と、右端部に湯分岐孔(M1)に嵌め込まれる分岐孔閉栓部(31)を有し、左端部に分岐管(P)の基端部が接続される分岐管接続口部(32)を有し、かつ長さ中間部に周面に開口した連通孔(33)を有する第2継手部材(3)と、両端部が前記連通孔(33)に通じるように第1継手部材(2)および第2継手部材(3)に接続される第3継手部材(4)とを備えている。

第1継手部材(2)は、例えば銅鋳物やステンレス鋼から形成された略筒状のものである。第1継手部材(2)の分岐孔接続口部(21)は、混合水栓(M)の水分岐孔(M2)の雌ネジ(M21)にねじ込まれる雄ネジ(21a)を有している。第1継手部材(2)の周面の左端部寄りには、分岐孔接続口部(21)に隣接しかつ混合水栓(M)の水分岐孔(M2)周縁部に当接させられる環状段差(23)が形成されている。また、第1継手部材(2)は、その右端部に、第2継手部材(3)の分岐管接続口部(32)に接続される分岐管(P)とは別の分岐管(図示略)の基端部を接続し得る分岐管接続口部(24)を有しており、該接続口部(24)が、これに着脱自在に取り付けられた閉鎖部材(25)によって閉鎖されている。第1継手部材(2)の分岐管接続口部(24)は、雄ネジ(24a)を有している。閉鎖部材(25)は、前記雄ネジ(24a)にねじ嵌められる雌ネジ(25a)を有する袋ナットで構成されている。第1継手部材(2)の周面の長さ中間部には、環状溝(26)が形成されている。そして、この環状溝(26)の底部に、2つの連通孔(22)が対称位置に形成されている。したがって、第1継手部材(2)の分岐孔接続口部(21)を混合水栓(M)の水分岐孔(M2)に完全にねじ込んだ状態において、該部材(2)の周方向における連通孔(22)の位置にかかわらず、第1継手部材(2)および第3継手部材(4)の内部どうしが、前記環状溝(26)を通じて連通させられるようになっている。

第2継手部材(3)も、例えば銅鋳物やステンレス鋼から形成された略筒状のものである。但し、第2継手部材(3)の右端部は、該部材(3)と一体に形成された右端壁(30)により閉鎖されていて、分岐孔閉栓部(31)を構成している。分岐孔閉栓部(31)は、混合水栓(M)の湯分岐孔(M1)の雌ネジ(M11)にねじ込まれる雄ネジ(31a)を有している。第2継手部材(3)の周面の右端部寄りには、分岐孔閉栓部(31)に隣接しかつ混合水栓(M)の湯分岐孔(M1)周縁部に当接させられる環状段差(35)が形成されている。第2継手部材(3)の分岐管接続口部(32)は、雄ネジ(32a)を有している。この分岐管接続口部(32)には、一端部に分岐管接続口部(32)の雄ネジ(32a)にねじ嵌められる袋ナット(601)を有しかつ他端部に雄型継手(図示略)を有する開閉バルブ(600)を介して、雌型継手(P1)を有する分岐管(P)の基端部が着脱自在に接続されている(図2参照)。第2継手部材(3)の周面の長さ中間部には、環状溝(34)が形成されている。そして、この環状溝(34)の底部に、2つの連通孔(33)が対称位置に形成されている。したがって、第2継手部材(3)の分岐孔閉栓部(31)を混合水栓(M)の湯分岐孔(M1)に完全にねじ込んだ状態において、該部材(3)の周方向における連通孔(33)の位置にかかわらず、第2継手部材(3)および第3継手部材(4)の内部どうしが、前記環状溝(34)を通じて連通させられるようになっている。
