Description
高さ50cm、横50cm、奥行き40cmのケースサイズで、図1に示したものと同一の構成に係るヒューム捕集機を用いた。ポリスチレンを構成材料として単独気泡を形成させた、粒径3〜6mmの球状吸着体を球体収容部の下部1/3程度充填し、後処理室にプリコート剤として平均粒径2μmの粉末ゼオライトをコート層の厚みがほぼ1.0mmになる程度の量を収容した。また、フィルターとしてヒダ折間隔を5mmとしたフィルター面積2m2ものを用いた。室内にて合板材をレーザーでカットしてヒュームを発生させ、次いで空気吸引装置(ブロアー)の吸い込み風量を2m3/minとして、上記ヒュームを含有する吸引空気を吸引ダクトを介して球体収容部に導入し、上記吸引空気の球体層の通過速度を0.68m/s、隔壁板の底部に設けた開口部の通過速度を16〜20m/sの条件で3時間運転して、フィルター前後の圧力変動を計測した。3時間経過後空気吸引装置の運転を停止して球体層に外部から衝撃を与えて吸着したヒュームを剥離し、再度上記と同一条件で運転を行い、かかる繰り返し運転を合計4回行った。結果を図2に示す。
実施例1と同一構成のヒューム捕集機を用い、球体収容部に球状吸着体を収容しないこと以外は実施例1と同一条件で運転した。結果を図2に示す。
フィルターのヒダ折間隔を12mm、吸引空気の発泡層の通過速度を0.5m/sにした以外は実施例1と同一条件で2週間連続運転した。圧力損失の経時変化は運転開始から16時間経過するまで計測した。結果を図3に示す。

Claims (3)
- 前処理室と、該前処理室の下流側に配置した後処理室と、該後処理室の下流側に配置した空気吸引装置とを備えたヒューム捕集機であって、
前記前処理室は、前記空気吸引装置による吸引作用により外部からヒューム含有空気を導入する吸引ダクトと、上部にヘッドスペースを有し、かつ前記吸引したヒューム含有空気が下方へ向けて通過する、樹脂製発泡体または活性炭からなる球状吸着体を充填した球体層が配置された球体収容部とを有し、
前記後処理室は、該後処理室の下部に配置され、前記球体収容部を通過した吸引空気の上方への作用力を受けるプリコート剤と、該プリコート剤の上方に配置され、上方へ舞い上げられた前記プリコート剤が付着することでコート層を形成させるフィルターとを有することを特徴とするヒューム捕集機。 - 球状吸着体の粒径が2〜6mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のヒューム捕集機。
- 球状吸着体がポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンまたはポリスチレンから選ばれる汎用樹脂を構成材料とする樹脂製発泡体からなることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のヒューム捕集機。
