平成2年実用新案公告第43681号のものは、逆「U」字状に屈曲させた背金の内側に支持部を形成するとともに、支持部が位置する下方の間隙部を、鋸替え刃の基部を容易に差入れ得る巾に設定して解放する一方、背金の先端下方側に鋸替え刃の厚み以下に設定した狭まり部を形成した構成とすることによって、種々厚みの異なった鋸替え刃を装着できるようにしたものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
逆「U」字状に屈曲させた背金の内側に支持部を形成し、支持部が位置する下方の間隙部を、鋸替え刃の基部を容易に差入れ得る巾に設定して解放するとともに、背金の先端下方側に鋸替え刃の厚み以下に設定した狭まり部を形成した構成とした場合、各種厚みの異なった鋸替え刃の装着を可能にし得るという利点がある反面、背金の天井部が必然的に円弧状となる結果、装着させた鋸替え刃の厚みによっては、鋸替え刃の基部上縁部と背金の内側天井部との間に隙間ができ、鋸での切断時に不愉快なガタツキ音を発生させる可能性があるのである。
すなわち、図5は、逆「U」字状に屈曲させるとともに、内部に支持部9を形成した背金8に、厚さの異なった鋸替え刃を装着させた場合における縦断面図であるが、天井部が円弧状となっている結果、厚い鋸替え刃4aを装着させた場合は、鋸替え刃の上縁部が背金の天井部に接触した状態となるのに対し(左図)、薄い鋸替え刃4bを装着させた場合、鋸替え刃4bの上縁部と背金8の天井部との間に隙間を発生させることになり(右図)、これが原因となって、鋸での切断の際、ガタツキ音を発生させることになるのである。
この発明は、従来のものにみられたこのような欠点を除去しようとするものである。
