Description
(イ)請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の可変動弁機構の診断機能の評価方法又は可変動弁機構の診断装置において、
目標の作動特性になるように前記可変動弁機構をフィードバック制御したときに目標の作動特性に収束するまでに要した時間に基づいて、応答遅れを診断することを特徴とする可変動弁機構の診断機能の評価方法又は可変動弁機構の診断装置。
(ロ)請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の可変動弁機構の診断機能の評価方法又は可変動弁機構の診断装置において、
目標の作動特性と実際値との偏差が所定以上である状態の継続時間に基づいて、応答遅れを診断することを特徴とする可変動弁機構の診断機能の評価方法又は可変動弁機構の診断装置。
(ハ)請求項4〜6のいずれか1つに記載の可変動弁機構の診断装置において、
前記診断手段としての機能を有するコントロールユニットに対して、前記評価手段としての機能を有する外部テスターを接続して、前記診断手段の機能評価を行うことを特徴とする可変動弁機構の診断装置。
Claims (6)
- エンジンバルブの作動特性を変更する可変動弁機構の作動応答を診断する診断機能の評価方法であって、
前記可変動弁機構の作動応答を強制的に低下させ、
前記作動応答を強制的に低下させた状態で前記可変動弁機構の作動応答を診断し、
該作動応答の診断結果に基づいて前記作動応答の診断機能を評価することを特徴とする可変動弁機構の診断機能の評価方法。 - 前記可変動弁機構の制御信号の変化範囲を通常よりも狭い範囲内に制限することで、作動応答を強制的に低下させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の可変動弁機構の診断機能の評価方法。
- 前記可変動弁機構のフィードバック制御におけるゲインを変更することで、作動応答を強制的に低下させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の可変動弁機構の診断機能の評価方法。
- エンジンバルブの作動特性を変更する可変動弁機構の作動応答を診断する診断装置であって、
前記可変動弁機構の作動応答を強制的に低下させる作動遅れ発生手段と、
前記可変動弁機構の作動応答の遅れを診断する診断手段と、
前記作動遅れ発生手段の作動状態で前記診断手段が前記可変動弁機構における作動応答の遅れを診断するか否かに基づいて前記診断手段の機能評価を行う評価手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする可変動弁機構の診断装置。 - 前記作動遅れ発生手段が、前記可変動弁機構の制御信号の変化範囲を通常よりも狭い範囲内に制限することで、作動応答を強制的に低下させることを特徴とする請求項4記載の可変動弁機構の診断装置。
- 前記作動遅れ発生手段が、前記可変動弁機構のフィードバック制御におけるゲインを変更することで、作動応答を強制的に低下させることを特徴とする請求項4記載の可変動弁機構の診断装置。
