Description
先ず、負極を作製した。負極の作製においては、先ず、結着剤としてポリブチレンサクシネート(PBS)(商品名:ビオノーレ#1001、昭和高分子(株)製)(10質量部)をクロロホルムとエタノールとの混合溶媒(質量比95:5)(101質量部)に溶解させた溶液中に、負極活物質としてMCMB(113質量部)、導電助剤としてカーボンブラック(2.5質量部)を分散させてペーストを得た。得られたペーストをドクターブレード法により集電体である銅箔に塗布し、150℃で1時間乾燥させて、負極を得た。
負極及び正極に用いられる結着剤として、ポリブチレンサクシネートアジペート(PBSA)(商品名:ビオノーレ#3001、昭和高分子(株)製)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、リチウムイオン二次電池を作製した。
負極及び正極に用いられる結着剤として、ポリ乳酸(PLA)(商品名:レイシア H−400、三井化学(株)製)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、リチウムイオン二次電池を作製した。
負極及び正極に用いられる結着剤として、ポリエチレンスクシネート(PES)(商品名:ルナーレSE、日本触媒(株)製)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、リチウムイオン二次電池を作製した。
負極及び正極に用いられる結着剤として、ポリ−ε−カプロラクトン(PCL)(商品名:セルグリーン P−H7、ダイセル化学工業(株)製)を用い、溶媒としてメタノールを用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、リチウムイオン二次電池を作製した。
負極及び正極に用いられる結着剤として、ポリ−3−ヒドロキシブチレート(P3HB)(商品名:ビオグリーン、三菱ガス化学(株)製)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、リチウムイオン二次電池を作製した。
負極及び正極に用いられる結着剤として、ポリ(3−ヒドロキシブチレート−3−ヒドロキシバリレート)(P(3HB/3HV))を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、リチウムイオン二次電池を作製した。
負極及び正極に用いられる結着剤として、ポリグリコール酸(PGA)(呉羽化学工業(株)製)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、リチウムイオン二次電池を作製した。
負極及び正極に用いられる結着剤として、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)(商品名:KYNAR−761EA、アトフィナ(株)製)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、リチウムイオン二次電池を作製した。
得られた実施例1〜3、参考例1、実施例5〜8及び比較例1のリチウムイオン二次電池のそれぞれについて、UL1642規定の150℃加熱試験を行い各々の安全性を評価した。UL1642規定の150℃加熱試験は、各電池(4.2Vでの充電を終了させた状態のもの)を恒温槽に入れ、昇温速度5℃/minで室温から150℃まで昇温し、150℃で30分間保持することにより行った。表1にその結果を示す。

- 炭素材料を含む電極活物質と生分解性高分子からなる結着剤とを構成材料として含む導電性の活物質含有層と、
前記活物質含有層に電気的に接触した状態で配置される導電性の集電体と、

前記生分解性高分子が、ポリブチレンサクシネート、ポリブチレンサクシネートアジペート、ポリ乳酸、ポリ−ε−カプロラクトン、ポリ−3−ヒドロキシブチレート、ポリ(3−ヒドロキシブチレート−3−ヒドロキシバリレート)及びポリグリコール酸からなる群より選択される少なくとも一種の高分子であること、
を特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池用の電極。 - 互いに対向する負極及び正極と、
前記負極と前記正極との間に配置されており、絶縁性を有するセパレータと、
リチウムイオンを含む電解質溶液と、
前記負極、前記正極、前記セパレータ及び前記電解質溶液を密閉した状態で収容するケースと、
を有するリチウムイオン二次電池であって、
少なくとも前記負極が請求項1記載の電極であること、
