本発明は、煙道清掃装置及び煙道清掃方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、高層化されつつある煙突、煙道内に付着した黒煤等のダスト等を除去するために、種々の装置が提案されつつある。例えば、昇降自在のゴンドラを煙突上方から吊り下げ、該ゴンドラに清掃作業員が乗り込み、ダストを掻き落とす方法がある。一方、作業員の安全面を考慮して、無人化された清掃装置も提供されており、例えば、昇降自在のゴンドラの周囲にブラシ等の清掃具を備え付け、該ゴンドラが昇降することにより、ブラシが煙道内面を清掃する構成のものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記のような清掃装置においては、ブラシによる清掃効率の低減は避け難く、清掃ムラが生じることにより作業効率が低下する等の問題が生じる場合がある。本発明の課題は、煙道内の清掃を無人化し、かつ作業効率の良い煙道清掃装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段及び作用・効果】
上記課題を解決するために、本発明の煙道清掃装置は、煙突の煙道内面の付着物を除去する煙道清掃装置であって、該煙道清掃装置は前記煙突内部において下降及び/又は上昇させるようにした吊下状態で、前記煙突の軸線まわりに回転可能に保持される円筒状の吊下本体部と、前記煙道内面の付着物を除去して清掃するための清掃手段とから構成され、前記清掃手段は前記吊下本体部の外周面における周方向の一部範囲において始側と終側との間を螺旋状となし、その周方向に隙間なく配置される可撓性部材である刷毛状物で構成される複数の清掃本体部が前記吊下本体部の外周面に取り付けられる取付支持部の先端側に設けられ、この清掃手段を前記吊下本体部の外周面の周方向に複数配置させ、前記清掃手段の前記清掃本体部の外周部を前記煙突の内径より大径に形成するとともに、前記吊下本体部の軸方向において前記周方向で隣り合う前記清掃手段の始側と終側との前記清掃本体部が相対するように配置され、前記吊下本体部が前記煙突内を下降及び/又は上昇するときに前記煙道内面に接触する前記刷毛状物が撓み変形することにより前記清掃本体部に前記煙道内面を押し付ける方向への付勢力を生じさせて前記吊下本体部を周方向に回転させるための回転トルクを発生させることを特徴とする。

上記煙道清掃装置によると、吊下本体部の外周面に配置され煙道内面に当接する複数の清掃手段が、吊下本体部の昇降に伴って煙道内面を引っ掻きながら(払いながら)清掃していくが、本発明においては、トルク発生手段としての清掃本体部が吊下本体部に取り付けられているため、清掃手段は昇降方向に加えて周方向にも移動して煙道内面を引っ掻くこととなる。この昇降方向及び周方向への移動により、煙道内周面を効率良く清掃し、また周方向の回転により清掃ムラも生じにくくなり、煙道清掃に要する作業時間を従来のものに比べて大幅に短縮することが可能となる。

このようなトルク発生手段は、煙道内面と当接する構成であって、吊下本体部が昇降することにより、その当接部分が煙道内面から抵抗を受け、その抵抗力により回転力が生じる構成とすることができる。具体的には、トルク発生手段に、吊下本体部の昇降方向に対し所定の角度傾いた傾斜面を形成し、その傾斜面が吊下本体部の昇降に伴って煙道内面から抵抗を受け回転力が生じるものとすることができる。

例えば、清掃時は上記傾斜面が煙道内面のダスト等を引っ掻きながら昇降するが、そのダストから傾斜面に抵抗が生じ、その抵抗により傾斜面の傾き角に応じた回転力が吊下本体部に生じるため、当該煙道清掃装置が吊下軸を中心として煙道周方向に自転する仕組みとなる。

このような昇降に伴う清掃装置の自転により、吊下本体部の外周面に配置された複数の清掃手段が、煙道内周面を効率良く清掃する。また、吊下本体部の昇降に伴って自然に回転する構成のため、吊下本体部を回転させるためのモーター等の特別な駆動部を設ける必要がないため、当該清掃装置を軽量且つ安価に提供することができる。

なお、上記吊下手段としては、吊下本体部にワイヤー等を介してクレーン車等により吊り下げる方法等を例示することができ、また、清掃手段は清掃に係る道具を意味し、例えば刷毛(ブラシ)状物から構成されるものである。

なお、清掃本体部(清掃手段)により形成される傾斜面は任意の角度に調整することが可能で、その場合、該角度により回転速度が調整される。また、吊下本体部に取り付ける取付支持部の数は可能な限り多い方が好ましく、その場合、その先端に備えられた清掃本体部により形成される傾斜面の面積が大きくなるため、煙道内面からの抵抗をより受けやすくなり回転効率が向上する。

清掃本体部は、ブラシ等の可撓性部材を含んで構成され、その可撓性部材で構成される清掃本体部の外周部が煙道の内径より大径の大径部を形成するものであって、その可撓性部材が撓み変形することにより当該煙道清掃装置が煙道内に挿入され、清掃本体部にはその撓み変形に基づき煙道内面方向への付勢が生じるものとすることができる。この場合、清掃本体部の撓み変形により生じる該清掃本体部の煙道内面方向への付勢力により、煙道内面が効果的に引っ掻かれて清掃されるとともに、清掃本体部が煙道内面から大きな抵抗力を受けるようになるため、吊下本体部を回転させるためのトルクが大きく発生することとなる。その結果、煙道内面には周方向の大きな引っ掻き効果が生じ、その煙道内面の清掃効率が一層向上する。

次に、吊下本体部には、該吊下本体部に対し吊下方向下方に一定の荷重を付加するための荷重付加手段を取り付けることができる。吊下本体部は、ワイヤー等の吊下手段を介してクレーン車等により吊り下げられるが、当該清掃装置の煙突への挿入時において、上記荷重付加手段を吊下本体部に設けておくことにより、重心位置が安定し、その挿入が容易となる。また、荷重付加手段を設けることにより、清掃作業時における吊下本体部の吊下状態が安定化し、昇降作動もスムーズに行われるようになる。

また、吊下本体部の吊下方向下方部には、先細りとなるテーパを形成することができる。このように吊下本体部の下方部をテーパ状にすることで、当該清掃装置の煙突への挿入が一層容易に行えるようになる。さらに、吊下本体部には、当該吊下本体部の吊下方向下方側から発光する発光手段を設けることもできる。該発光手段により発された光が、例えば煙突内部に設けたセンサ(モニタ)等に感知され(人為的な目視による感知も含む)、その感知情報をクレーン車等のオペレータ(運転手)に伝達することで、発光手段が、煙道清掃装置を煙突へ挿入する際の挿入補助手段となり得る。

一方、吊下本体部の外周面には、清掃される煙道面と摺動当接する回動自在の補助ローラを設けることができる。該補助ローラが煙道内周面と摺動当接することにより、清掃装置の昇降、及び煙突への挿入がスムーズとなるとともに、清掃装置の吊下状態における左右への振れが防止ないし抑制されることとなる。

なお、上記構成において、清掃手段は、吊下本体部に対し着脱自在に取り付けることができる。例えば、刷毛等の清掃本体部を備える清掃手段は、繰り返しの清掃作業により磨り減って使用不能となる場合があるが、吊下本体部に対して着脱自在に取り付けることにより、該清掃手段を任意に取り替えることが可能となり、上記のような使用不能の事態に対応できるようになる。また、着脱自在に構成することで、取付支持部の長さを種々変更することが可能となるため、当該煙道清掃装置の外径を、例えば煙道内径の異なる各種煙突に対応させることが可能となる。

一方、清掃手段の取付支持部は、伸縮自在な構成とすることができる。この場合、煙突等の煙道内径に対応して取付支持部を伸縮させることにより、幾つかの異なる内径の煙突に対しても使用することができるようになる。そのような伸縮自在の構成としては、例えば、取付支持部を段階的にスライド自在な構成としたり、取付支持部に弾性部材等を設けたりする方法等を例示できる。

例えば、取付支持部の一部又は全部を弾性部材により構成すると、1本の煙突において高さ方向に内径が異なるもの(先細りのテーパ状の煙突等)に対しても、弾性部材の弾性変形を利用して、効果的に煙道内面を清掃することが可能となる。具体的には、煙突の最大内径に対応した取付支持部を吊下本体部に取り付け、煙突の内径が小さくなる位置においては、取付支持部の弾性部材が弾性変形することにより清掃手段が縮径されて煙道内面が効果的に清掃され、また大きな内径の位置においては取付支持部に弾性復帰力が働いて煙道内面が清掃される。

また、本発明の煙道清掃方法は、請求項1に記載される煙道清掃装置を使用して煙突の煙道内面の付着物を除去する煙道清掃方法であって、該煙道清掃装置を煙突内に吊下状態で挿入し、前記煙道清掃装置を昇降させ、該煙道清掃装置の清掃本体部の刷毛状物を煙道内面に接触させながら自転させて、煙道内面の付着物を除去することを特徴とし、このような方法により、煙突内面のダスト等の付着物が簡便かつ効果的に除去されるようになる。

以下、本発明の実施の形態を、図面に示す実施例を参照して説明する。
図1は本発明の煙道清掃装置を煙道内に吊り下げた状態を示す説明図である。煙道清掃装置1は、煙突20等煙道内面に付着した汚れ、ダスト(付着物)等を清掃するための装置であって、煙突内部に吊り下げられた状態で使用される。また、煙道清掃装置1は、煙突内部に吊下状態で保持される円筒状の吊下本体部2と、煙道内面を清掃するための清掃手段10とから構成され、図2に示すようにクレーン車25から巻き取り自在に吊り下げられた第1ワイヤー5により昇降自在に吊り下げられている。さらに、図1に示すように、煙道清掃装置1の吊下本体部2は、スラスト軸受等が備えられる公知の軸受部4により第1ワイヤー5に軸支された状態で第2ワイヤー3を介して回転自在に吊り下げられている。

円筒状の吊下本体部2の外周面に配置された清掃手段10は、複数の可撓性のブラシ(可撓性押付け部)等から構成される清掃本体部12が、取付支持部11を介して吊下本体部2に取り付けられた構成とされている。各取付支持部11は、その取付部が螺旋を描くように吊下本体部2の外周面に取り付けられ、清掃本体部12がその螺旋に沿った傾斜面12bを形成しており、その傾斜面12bは吊下本体部2の昇降方向と交わる面で、その昇降方向に対し所定の角度(螺旋のリード角とほぼ同一の角度)傾いた面とされている。また、図7、8に示すように清掃手段10は複数設けられている。この清掃手段の一つとして、例えば図7の右上の符号10から下方に延びる矢印で示されるものは、吊下本体部2の外周面における周方向の一部範囲において始側と終側との間を螺旋状となしている。すなわち図7における吊下本体部2における右側の輪郭線の内側の上側から外側へ延びる取付支持部11に装着される始側である清掃本体部12と、吊下本体部2における左側の輪郭線の内側の下側から外側へ延びる取付支持部11に装着される終側である清掃本体部12との間を螺旋状となしている。また、吊下本体部2の周方向に隙間なく可撓性部材である刷毛状物で構成される複数の清掃本体部12を配置している。

また、清掃手段10が形成する螺旋の外周径、すなわち煙道清掃装置1の外径は、清掃されるべき煙道の内径よりも大きくされている。煙道清掃装置1が煙道内に挿入されると、清掃本体部12が煙道内面方向に付勢された状態で撓み変形し、清掃本体部12の摺動面12a及び傾斜面12bが煙道内面に押し付けられて、煙道内面のダスト等をその付勢力により引っ掻いて清掃するものとされている。また、複数の清掃手段10は、吊下本体部2の軸方向において周方向で隣り合う清掃手段10の始側と終側との清掃本体部12が相対するように配置されている(図7参照)。

ところで、螺旋状に形成された清掃手段10の傾斜面12bは、煙道清掃装置1の昇降に伴い煙道内面のダストを引っ掻いて清掃するが、その傾斜面12bはダストの反力(垂直抗力)を受けることとなる。また、可撓性の清掃本体部12が煙道内面側に付勢されているため、煙道清掃装置1の昇降にともない清掃本体部12の摺動面12aと煙道内面との間で摩擦力が生じる。図3に示すように、そのダストDの反力及び煙道内面との摩擦力により、昇降方向とは異なる方向に抵抗力F1が清掃本体部12に働き、煙道清掃装置1を回転させるためのトルクが清掃本体部12の上記傾斜角に対応した大きさで発生する。吊下本体部2の回転方向は、煙道清掃装置1の上昇時と下降時においてそれぞれ逆向きとされる。また、図4(a)の断面模式図に示すように、各清掃本体部12は、隣合う清掃本体部12と隙間無く配置されているのが回転力を効果的に生じさせる上で好ましい。なお、回転力の発生源は煙道内面から抵抗のみならず、昇降時の風圧による傾斜面への垂直抗力により回転トルクが発生することも考えられる。

本実施例の清掃手段10は、図1に示すように、清掃本体部12が清掃対象となる煙突20の内周面に付勢された状態で当接可能なように、取付支持部11の長さが調整できる構成とされている。取付支持部11は、図4(a)の断面模式図に示すように、円筒状の吊下本体部2を貫通する形態で取り付けられており、図4(b)に示すように、その貫通量、すなわち取付支持部11の吊下本体部2内部に入り込む長さを調整することが可能である。その貫通量の調整により、取付支持部11の長さ、すなわち煙道清掃装置1の最大外径を調整することが可能となり、清掃本体部12が煙突内径に対して効果的に付勢された状態で当接可能となる。

以上のような構成により、清掃手段10は煙道20内面と当接した状態で、クレーン25の駆動に従って煙道20内を昇降且つ回転しながら、煙道20内面に付着したダスト等を清掃する。なお、清掃したダスト等が煙道清掃装置1に積もらないように、吊下本体部2は空洞筒抜けの円筒状に構成されている。

清掃手段10は、取付支持部11の吊下本体部2への抜き差しにより着脱自在に構成されており、清掃作動時は吊下本体部2の取付部に設けられた図示しないネジ等の締結手段により挿入方向に固定される。なお、取付部において溶接、加締め等により固定することも可能であるが、この場合、取付支持部11を着脱自在にできない構成となる。

一方、吊下本体部2の外周面には、図1に示すように、清掃される煙突20の煙道面と摺動当接する回動自在の補助ローラ6が設けられている。補助ローラ6は、煙道面と摺動当接することで回転し、煙道清掃装置1の昇降、及び煙突への挿入をスムーズに行うための補助手段となり、本実施例では、吊下本体部2の上方(以下、昇降方向において昇側を上、降側を下とする)に4つ、下方に4つずつ配設されている。

次に、清掃手段10の変形例について説明する。図5は、取付支持部11が伸縮自在に構成されたもので、シリンダ状の取付側支持部11aにロッド11bがスライド自在に挿入され、取付側支持部11aに設けられたボルト等の締結部材11cにより、ロッド11bが所定のスライド位置(挿入位置)に係止可能な構成とされている。この場合、取付支持部11の長さ、すなわち煙道清掃装置1の外径を種々の煙突内径に対応させて調節することが可能となる。

また、図6に示す清掃手段10は、取付支持部11の一部が弾性部材13から構成されており、言い換えると取付支持部11と清掃本体部12との間に弾性部材13が介在されている。この場合、弾性部材13はバネ部材により構成されており、図6(a)は伸び状態、同図(b)は縮み状態であって、このようなバネ部材13の伸縮により煙道清掃装置1の外径(すなわち取付支持部11の長さ)が種々変化可能となる。また、同図(c)のように、バネ部材13が撓むことによっても煙道清掃装置1の外径(取付支持部11の長さ)が変化するものとされている。このような弾性部材13の導入により、煙突内径の変化に対応して取付支持部11が伸縮ないし撓み変形するため、種々の煙突内径に対応して煙道内面を摺動清掃することが可能となる。

次に、煙道清掃装置1の変形例について説明する。図7の煙道清掃装置においては、吊下本体部2の吊下方向下方側に荷重付加手段14が設けられている。この荷重付加手段14は、錘16がワイヤー15を介して吊下本体部2に吊り下げられたもので、当該煙道清掃装置1の重心位置を規定し、その吊り下げ状態を安定化させるものである。

また、図9に示すように、吊下本体部2の下方側に柱状部材18を例えば対角に各々垂れ下がる状態で4本取り付け、その4本の柱状部材の下端部を、吊下本体部2の中心軸線上付近で溶接等の固定手段により一体に固定し、4本の柱状部材により先細りの形態を構成することもできる。この場合も、柱状部材18により形成した先細り形態により、煙道清掃装置1の煙突への挿入が補助される。なお、柱状部材18の軸線方向中間部付近に、摺動自在のローラ19を取り付け、そのローラ19が煙突挿入口に摺動当接することにより、煙道清掃装置1の煙突への挿入補助効果をさらに高めることも可能で、このローラ19は、図8に示すような筒状のテーパ部17の外周面に設けることも可能である。

さらに、図10に示す煙道清掃装置は、吊下本体部2の下方側にライト(発光手段)30を設けたものである。図10の場合、図9と同様の柱状部材18にライト30を備え付けたもので、この場合、図10(c)に示すように、煙突20内部に設けられたセンサ(モニタでもよい)21がライト30の光を感知し、その感知情報をクレーン車25のオペレータ(運転手)に伝達することで、煙道清掃装置を煙突へ挿入する際の補助となり得る。なお、ライト30の光を人間が目視により確認し、その目視による確認情報を運転手等に伝達するようにしてもよい。

以上のような本発明の一実施例としての煙道清掃装置1を用いて煙突等の煙道を清掃すると、煙道清掃装置1の昇降に伴う吊下本体部2の自転(すなわち煙道清掃装置の自転)により、清掃手段10が煙道内周面を効率良く清掃し、また、その回転により清掃ムラも生じにくくなり、煙道清掃に要する作業時間が大幅に短縮されるようになる。また、当該煙道清掃装置の構成が非常に簡便なものであるため、該装置の製造コスト、ひいては清掃作業コストを大幅に削減することが可能である。

なお、図1の煙道清掃装置1において、螺旋状に形成された清掃手段10の螺旋のリード角θ、すなわち、清掃本体部12が形成する傾斜面と、昇降方向と垂直に交わるとのなす角度は、吊下本体部2の回転効率を向上させる上で、例えば5°〜85°、好ましくは10°〜80°、さらに好ましくは30°〜60°程度の範囲内とするのがよい。
