本発明は、連続抄紙法により抄紙された紙の片面に非吸液層を部分的に設け、該非吸液層設置面の反対面には非吸液層設置部に対応する部分以外の少なくとも一部に非吸液層を部分的に設け、揮散液体の吸液揮散時に、非吸液層と紙との伸張率の相違、もしくは該相違と紙の抄紙方向による伸張率の相違により反り及び/又はねじれの差を生じせしめるようにしたことを特徴とする揮散液体用揮散媒体を提供する。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明は揮散媒体の一部を構成する紙に、抄紙方向の異なるものを使用することにより、反りのみならず、ねじれをも生ぜしめることができるという特性を利用した揮散液体用揮散媒体である。連続抄紙機によって抄紙された紙は、抄紙方向に比較的繊維が配列することとなる。このため、抄紙方向における水又は湿度による紙の伸びは、抄紙方向横方向に比して小さいという特性を有する。抄紙方向と横方向との中間方向においては、伸びは抄紙方向と横方向との中間の伸びを示す。さらに中間方向すなわち斜め方向においては、上記した繊維配列の不均一さに基づいて、よじれを生じるという特性がある。本発明は、連続抄紙機により抄紙された紙の上記特性を活用した揮散液体用揮散媒体を提供する。

紙としては、連続抄紙機により抄紙された、すなわち抄紙方向を有する紙であればいずれの紙でも使用することができる。本発明はこのような紙の片面に非吸液層を部分的に設け、非吸液層設置面の反対面には非吸液層設置部に対応する部分以外に非吸液層を部分的に設け、紙と非吸液層との吸液による伸張率の相違により、揮散媒体に反り、よじれ等の変形を生ぜしめ、あるいは変形の度合いを制御することにより、造形美にあふれた、かつ高度の趣味性を満足せしめる揮散液体用揮散媒体を提供する。さらに本発明は、このような紙の片面に吸液層を部分的に設け、吸液層設置面の反対面には吸液層設置部に対応する部分以外に吸液層を部分的に設け、紙と吸液層との吸液による伸張率の相違により、揮散媒体に反り、よじれ等の変形を生ぜしめ、あるいは変形の度合いを制御することにより、造形美にあふれた、かつ高度の趣味性を満足せしめる揮散液体用揮散媒体を提供する。非吸液層あるいは吸液層は、印刷、塗装その他任意の方法を適宜選択採用することができる。
紙としては、反りあるいはよじれが生じたときに、その反りあるいはよじれを維持できるように適宜の厚さを有するものが好ましい。本発明は上記したように、種々の抄紙方向の紙および非吸液層あるいは吸液層を適宜組み合わせて使用することにより、種々の反り、よじれを有する造形美に優れた揮散液体用揮散媒体を提供することができる。さらには、非吸液層あるいは吸液層として印刷層を設けた場合には、印刷それ自体による装飾効果をもたせることもできる。以下本発明を図面に基づいて説明する。
