Description
Amberlyst 131(Rohm&Haas社製品)という商品名で市販され、新品の滴定酸度が約5meqH+/gであるスルホン化ポリスチレン触媒約30トンからなる床を、BPA製造プロセスでの生産に使用した。BPA製造プロセスでは、3−メルカプトプロピオン酸をバルクプロモータとして使用し、フェノール中4.5重量%のアセトンを反応体供給源として使用した。
2〜10の各例では、参考例1に記載の生産規模の触媒床を6ヶ月以上運転した後のものから30gの触媒床を取りだした。この触媒を研究室規模の実験に使用して触媒再生の効果を調べた。触媒再生の効果はアセトン転化率(BPAに転化されたアセトンの量/アセトン使用量)によって測定した。表2にみられる通り、様々な再生条件を用いた。再循環を採用した場合、水和条件が含まれる。例9及び10では新品の触媒を使用し、再生は行わず、対照例として示した。
Claims (9)
- ビスフェノールの製造に用いた失活スルホン化イオン交換樹脂触媒を再生する方法であって、
失活イオン交換樹脂を5〜20重量%の水から基本的になるフェノール/水混合物と70〜90℃の温度で接触させ、
フェノール/水混合物を触媒の再生に有効な時間再循環させる
工程を含む方法。 - さらに、フェノール/水混合物との接触前に、失活イオン交換樹脂をフェノールと接触させる工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- さらに、フェノール/水混合物との接触後に、イオン交換樹脂をフェノールと接触させる工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記フェノール/水混合物が5〜17重量%の水を含有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記フェノール/水混合物の重量が樹脂の重量の5〜50倍である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記フェノール/水混合物の重量が樹脂の重量の20〜50倍である、請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記フェノール/水混合物をイオン交換樹脂と2未満のWHSVの流量で接触させる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法によって再生したスルホン化イオン交換樹脂触媒を用いてのフェノールとアセトンからのビスフェノール製造におけるアセトン転化率%が、樹脂触媒の再生前のアセトン転化率%よりも再生後に4%以上高い、請求項1記載の方法。
- ビスフェノールの製造に用いた失活スルホン化イオン交換樹脂触媒を再生する方法であって、
失活イオン交換樹脂をフェノールと接触させ、
失活イオン交換樹脂を5〜20重量%の水から基本的になるフェノール/水混合物と70〜90℃の温度で接触させ、
フェノール/水混合物を触媒の再生に有効な時間再循環させる
工程を含む方法。
