【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は医薬、化粧、食品やバイオ等の各種工業における液等の撹拌に好適な往復反転用の撹拌翼に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来の往復反転用の撹拌翼として、図10の如くボスaの外周から4本の長方形の板状の翼体bを放射状に突設した撹拌翼c、又は図11の如くボスdの外周から4本の断面が三角形の柱状の翼体eを放射状に突設した撹拌翼fが知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の前者の撹拌翼cを図12の如く回転軸gに固定して撹拌槽h内の液中に垂下して該回転軸gを往復回転させると、図13の如く翼体bも背面に渦流が生じ、この渦流によって大きな剪断力を生ずると共に図12の如く撹拌槽h内の液に上下の互いに逆方向のフローパターンが形成され、槽内の流れは二分される。又、従来の後者の撹拌翼fを図14の如く回転軸gに固定して撹拌槽h内の液中に垂下して該回転軸gを往復回転させると、図15の如く翼体eの背面に渦流が生じ、この渦流によって大きな剪断力を生ずると共に図14の如く撹拌槽h内の液にショートパスする循環流と上下の互いに逆方向のフローパターンが形成され、かくてこれら従来の撹拌翼は槽内かきみだし形の撹拌しか行なえず、撹拌効率が低いという問題があった。

本発明はこれらの問題点を解消し、撹拌において低剪断力で有効な軸方向を作り出して槽内に上下循環流が得られるような撹拌効率の良い往復反転用撹拌翼を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記の目的を達成すべく、横断面において、その中心線の左右の形状が対称であり、且つ上面が上方に向かって凸の湾曲状に形成されていると共に、下面が水平か又は上方に向って凹の湾曲状に形成されている翼体よりなり、該翼体は下面の左右端部に間隔を存して左右対称の横断面形状の補助翼を付設したことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の往復反転用撹拌翼の一実施の形態を図1乃至図9により説明する。

図1は本発明の往復反転用撹拌翼1を組込んだ撹拌装置の斜視図であり、該往復反転用撹拌翼1は図示していない駆動装置によって矢印R1又は矢印R2の方向へ往復反転可能に撹拌槽3内に垂設されている。

撹拌槽3内の往復反転用撹拌翼1を回転方向R1、又はR2の方向へ、所定のインターバルで切り換えながら交互に回転させる。

翼体2の断面形状を上方に凸の湾曲状としたため、図4の(a)、(b)に示す如く、往復反転運転時の両方向において翼後縁における剥離を防ぎ、且つ、翼上下面における圧力差により揚力Fが生じて下向きの軸方向流を作り出している。

即ち、往復反転撹拌翼1は前述の如く翼後縁における剥離が防止されると共に図1の矢印Aで示す循環流を生じて剪断力の小さな撹拌効率の高い撹拌装置とすることができた。

尚、本実施の形態では、翼体2の平面形状を根部から先端部に向かって幅が狭くなる略尖塔状としたが、これは図5に示す如く、翼体2の平面形状を根部から先端部に向かって幅が一定の略長方形状としたり、又は図6に示す如く、翼体2の平面形状を根部から先端部に向かって幅が広くなる略扇状としてもよい。

又、本実施の形態では、翼体2の横断面形状を上面が上方に向かって凸で下面が水平な左右対称の翼形としたが、これは図7で示す如く、上面が上方に向かって凸で下面が上方に向かって凹の左右対称の薄い板状の翼体2´としてもよく、又は図8に示す如く、上面が上方に向かって凸で下面が上方に向かって凹の前記翼体2´よりも厚肉とした左右対称の翼形を有する翼体2´´としてもよく、或いは又、図9に示す如く、前記翼体2´´の下面の左右端部に間隔を存して左右対称の横断面形状の補助翼2cをステー2dを介して付設して、2重翼方式の翼体2´´´としてもよい。

【発明の効果】
このように本発明によれば、往復反転をしながら撹拌を行なう撹拌装置の往復反転用撹拌翼において、低剪断力で有効な軸方向流を作り出して、槽内に良好な上下循環流が得られる効果を有する。
