Description
本実施例では,FDTD(Finite Difference Time Domain)シミュレーションを通じて回折格子層の屈折率差による光取り出し効率の増加度を計算して比較した。
本実施例に係るナノ多孔質層(屈折率:1.0)の代りに,屈折率がそれぞれ1.1,1.2,1.3,1.4である材料を使用した場合の光取り出し効率の増加度を計算し,その結果を図5に図示した。

Claims (10)
- 背面基板と,前記背面基板の一面に形成され,第1電極,有機層及び第2電極が順次積層されて形成された有機電界発光部と,を含む有機電界発光素子において,
前記背面基板と前記第1電極との間に,ナノ多孔質層と,当該ナノ多孔質層を覆うように形成された高屈折率層と,
を含み,
前記高屈折率層は,SOG(Spin−On−Glass),TiO 2 ,及びTa 2 O 5 からなる群から選択された物質で形成される層であり,
前記ナノ多孔質層及び前記高屈折率層は,回折格子を形成することを特徴とする有機電界発光素子。 - 前記ナノ多孔質層の厚みは,1000nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記高屈折率層の厚みは,2000nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記高屈折率層の屈折率は,1.6以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記ナノ多孔質層は,200nm〜1000nmの周期で規則的に繰り返されるナノ多孔質格子を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記ナノ多孔質格子の幅は,20nm〜900nmであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記第1電極は,ITO(Indium Tin Oxide)電極であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 背面基板上にフォトレジスト組成物をコーティングする段階と;
前記背面基板上にナノ格子層を形成する段階と;
前記ナノ格子層上に高屈折率層をコーティングする段階と;
前記ナノ格子層にナノ多孔質層を形成する段階と;
前記ナノ多孔質層上に,第1電極,有機層及び第2電極を順次積層させる段階と;
を含み,
前記高屈折率層は,SOG(Spin−On−Glass),TiO 2 ,及びTa 2 O 5 からなる群から選択された物質で形成される層であることを特徴とする有機電界発光素子の製造方法。 - 前記フォトレジスト組成物は,感光性ポリカーボネート樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
- 前記ナノ多孔質層を形成する段階は,200℃〜600℃の温度で行われる焼成工程であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
