本発明は、電線補修用カバ−に関し、さらに詳細には、バイパス工法により所要の架線工事を行なうべく露出せしめた被覆電線の芯線個所を工事終了後に補修せしめる、電線補修用カバ−に関する。

従来より、この種の電線補修用カバ−としては、例えば、特開平8−98363号公報記載のものが知られており、これを図8及び図9に基づいて説明する。
即ち、同図中、51は両端部が各々テ−パ状とされた所要の長さと径を有する両側一対の絶縁プラスチック製半筒状カバ−部材、52は該各カバ−部材51どうしを開閉自在に連絡せしめるべく長手方向に沿ってその一側に一体形成されたヒンジ、53は該ヒンジ52に対応すべく各カバ−部材51の他側に沿って各々突設された一対の突片、54は一方の突片53の両端部に各々突設された係合片、55は該各係合片54に対応すべく他方の突片53に形成された係合孔、56は一方の突片53一端に付設された摘み片で、該摘み片56は捩切り自在とされている。57は前記各カバ−部材51の長手方向に沿ってその内周面に取付けられた絶縁混和物である。

ところで、上述の如く構成された従来例は、被覆電線の補修個所に外嵌状に装着して有効に補修せしめることが出来る反面、図9に示すように、装着時にはヒンジ52及び突片53が各々カバ−部材51の外周面レベル以上に外方へ突出した状態を呈するものである。このため、例えば、補修せしめた架空配電線の近くで建設作業等が行われている場合などにおいて、電線を防護せしめるべくポリ管を挿入せしめるさいには外方に突出したヒンジ52や突片53が邪魔となり、ポリ管のスム−ズな挿入がしずらく、極めて手間がかかるのみならず、非常に煩しいものとなっていた。

本発明は、かかる従来例の問題点を解決し、補修用カバ−としての機能を有効に発揮せしめることが出来るのみならず、ポリ管を極めてスム−ズに、しかも、迅速かつ確実に挿入せしめることが出来る電線補修用カバ−を提供しようとするものである。
