Description
本発明に従った空気入りタイヤの空気透過防止層を構成するフィルムの厚さは好ましくは0.02〜0.2mm、更に好ましくは0.05〜0.2mmであり、空気透過防止層の全体層は1.2mm以下であるのが好ましく、0.1〜0.5mmであるのが更に好ましい。
ジエン系ゴム及びその水添物(例えばNR、IR、エポキシ化天然ゴム、SBR、BR(高シスBR及び低シスBR)、NBR、水素化NBR、水素化SBR)、オレフィン系ゴム(例えばエチレンプロピレンゴム(EPDM、EPM)、マレイン酸変性エチレンプロピレンゴム(M−EPM)、IIR、イソブチレンと芳香族ビニル又はジエン系モノマー共重合体、アクリルゴム(ACM)、アイオノマー)、含ハロゲンゴム(例えばBr−IIR、Cl−IIR、イソブチレンパラメチルスチレン共重合体の臭素化物(Br−IPMS)、CR、ヒドリンゴム(CHR)、クロロスルホン化ポリエチレン(CSM)、マレイン酸変性塩素化ポリエチレン(M−CM))、シリコンゴム(例えばメチルビニルシリコンゴム、ジメチルシリコンゴム、メチルフェニルビニルシリコンゴム)、含イオウゴム(例えばポリスルフィドゴム)、フッ素ゴム(例えばビニリデンフルオライド系ゴム、含フッ素ビニルエーテル系ゴム、テトラフルオロエチレン−プロピレン系ゴム、含フッ素シリコン系ゴム、含フッ素ホスファゼン系ゴム)、熱可塑性エラストマー(例えばスチレン系エラストマー、オレフィン系エラストマー、エステル系エラストマー、ウレタン系エラストマー、ポリアミド系エラストマー)などを挙げることができる。
表Iに示すように、材料A〜Dからなるポリマーフィルムを用いて表Iに示す構成の空気透過防止層を有するタイヤ(サイズ:165SR13、リムサイズ:13×4 1/2−J)を作製した。これらのタイヤ及び従来の標準例1及び2について下記試験を行なった。結果を表Iに示す。
加硫後のタイヤをカットし、エアだまり故障が認められた場合は不良(×)、認められない場合は良好(○)とした。
タイヤ成型の際、材料が伸びてしまう場合は不良(×)、伸びない場合は良好(○)とした。
加硫後のタイヤについて、空気透過防止層のスプライス部が開いている場合は不良(×)、開いてない場合は良好(○)とする。
JASO C−607−87(自動車用タイヤのユニフォミティ試験法)に従ってRFVを測定する。従来の典型的なタイヤである標準例2の測定値の逆数を100とし、指数で表示する(数字が大きい方が良い)。
初期圧力200kPa 、室温21℃、無負荷条件にて3ヵ月間放置する。内圧の測定間隔は4日毎とし、測定圧力Pt、初期圧力Po、経過日数tとして、次の式

材料B:N6 25.2部、MXD6 37.8部、マスターバッチA(ブチルゴム臭素化物:エクソンケミカル製エクソンブロモブチル2244 100部、東海カーボン製カーボンブラックGPF:シーストV 60部、ステアリン酸1部、石油系炭化水素樹脂エッソ製エスコレッツ1102 10部、パラフィン系プロセス油10部)48.9部、三井石油化学製ハイセックスミリオン240M(EEA)、酸化亜鉛1.5部、DM0.5部及びイオウ0.3部から成り、空気透過係数が0.84×10-12 cc・cm/cm2 ・sec .cmHgでヤング率が244MPa の材料
材料C:N6 25.2部、MXD6 37.8部、Br−(ポリイソブチレン−p−メチルスチレン)(エクソンケミカル製EXXPRO 89−4)27.0部並びにナイロン6/ナイロン66/ナイロン610(東レ製CM4001)から成り、空気透過係数が0.63×10-12 cc・cm/cm2 ・sec .cmHgでヤング率317MPa の材料
材料D:ブチルゴム(空気透過係数55×10-12 cc・cm/cm2 ・sec .cmHg、ヤング率15MPa )

Claims (4)
- 空気透過係数が25×10-12cc・cm/cm2・sec・cmHg以下でヤング率が1〜500MPaの熱可塑性樹脂もしくは熱可塑性樹脂とエラストマーとのブレンドを含むポリマー組成物のフィルムを空気透過防止層として用いる空気入りタイヤにおいて、タイヤ内面をタイヤ周方向に連続的に2周以上おおう複数層のフィルムで空気透過防止層を構成することを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂又は熱可塑性樹脂とエラストマーとのブレンドを含むポリマー組成物のフィルムがポリアミド系樹脂及びそれらのN−アルコキシアルキル化物、ポリエステル系樹脂、ポリニトリル系樹脂、ポリビニル系樹脂、フッ素系樹脂及びイミド系樹脂の熱可塑性樹脂並びに前記熱可塑性樹脂と、ジエン系ゴム及びその水添物、オレフィン系ゴム、含ハロゲンゴム、マレイン酸変性塩素化ポリエチレン、シリコンゴム、含イオウゴム、フッ素ゴム及び熱可塑性エラストマーのエラストマーとのブレンドからなる群から選ばれたものである請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 空気透過防止層1層の厚さが、0.02〜0.2mmである請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 複数層の空気透過防止層の全体厚が1.2mm以下である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
