Claims (1)
- 基準電圧と出力端子の出力電圧に基づいた分圧電圧を入力され、前記基準電圧と前記分圧電圧の差を増幅し、出力MOSトランジスタに出力するエラー・アンプと、
前記出力MOSトランジスタに流れる出力電流を監視し、前記出力MOSトランジスタに大電流が流れたときに出力電流を設定値にコントロールする電流制限回路と、を具備したボルテージ・レギュレータであって、
前記電流制限回路は、
ゲートが前記エラー・アンプの出力端子に接続された出力電流モニタMOSトランジスタと、
前記出力電流モニタMOSトランジスタと前記出力端子の間に接続された電流源回路と、
ゲートが前記出力電流モニタMOSトランジスタと前記電流源回路の接続点に接続され、前記出力電流モニタMOSトランジスタの電流と前記電流源回路の電流の大小によってオンオフ制御される検出MOSトランジスタと、を備え、
前記電流源回路は、電源端子と接地端子の間に接続された定電流源と、前記定電流源の電流に基づいた電流を前記出力電流モニタMOSトランジスタと前記出力端子の間に流すカレントミラー回路とを備え、
前記カレントミラー回路は、前記出力電流モニタMOSトランジスタと前記出力端子の間に接続された第1のNチャネルMOSトランジスタと、前記第1のNチャネルMOSトランジスタに前記定電流源の電流に基づいた電流を流す第2のNチャネルMOSトランジスタと、を備え、
前記第1のNチャネルMOSトランジスタのバックゲートが前記出力端子に接続され、前記第2のNチャネルMOSトランジスタのバックゲートが前記接地端子に接続された、ことを特徴とするボルテージ・レギュレータ。
