【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、容器の内容物を吸引するために口に銜えることができる可撓性吸引管を備えた容器蓋に関する。

【従来の技術】
飲料用容器のための容器蓋として、実公平1−27699号公報、実公平2−16664号公報及び実公平3−30012号公報には、容器の内容物を吸引するために口に銜えることができる可撓性吸引管を備えた形態の容器蓋が開示されている。かような容器蓋は、容器口頸部に装着される蓋本体と開閉自在な外蓋とを含んでいる。蓋本体は容器口頸部の頂面を覆う主壁を有し、この主壁には貫通孔が形成されており、上記吸引管は貫通孔から延在せしめられている。蓋本体の主壁にはその上面から上方に突出する突出壁が形成され、或いは外蓋には垂下壁が形成されている。外蓋が蓋本体の主壁を覆う閉位置にせしめられると、突出壁或いは垂下壁の作用等によって吸引管が折り曲げられ、外蓋に覆われる。外蓋が蓋本体の主壁を露呈せしめる開位置に位置せしめられると、吸引管に対する突出壁或いは垂下壁の作用が解除されて吸引管の折り曲げが解消され、吸引管は所要方向に延出する。使用者は吸引管の先端部を口に銜えて吸引することによって容器内容物を摂取することができる。かような容器蓋を具備した容器は、例えばベッドに寝たままの病人が飲料を摂取する場合、マラソン選手が走りながら飲料を摂取する場合、自転車又は自動車を運転中の人が飲料を摂取する場合等に特に好都合に使用される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
而して、可撓性吸引管を備えた従来の容器蓋には、次のとおりの解決すべき問題が存在する。第一に、吸引管の延在長さが比較的短く、それ故に使用者が吸引管の先端部を銜えることが必ずしも容易でない。吸引管の延在長さを長くすると、外蓋を閉位置に位置せしめんとしても吸引管が外蓋内に収容されず、外蓋を閉位置に位置せしめることが不可能になってしまう。
第二に、外蓋を閉位置に位置せしめた時には吸引管が折り曲げられるが、吸引管のかかる折り曲げに起因して吸引管内の流路を閉塞し、かかる閉塞によって所謂シールを確立し、容器内容物の漏出を防止せんとしている。しかしながら、シールは単一の折り曲げ部に限られている故に、必ずしも充分ではなく、特に落下等によって強い衝撃が加えられた場合には内容物の漏出が発生する虞がある。

本発明は上記事実に鑑みてなされたものであり、その主たる技術的課題は、従来の容器蓋に存在する上記第一及び第二の問題の双方を解決した新規且つ改良された容器蓋、即ち外蓋を閉位置に位置せしめた時には充分容易に外蓋内に吸引管を収納することができるにもかかわらず、外蓋を開位置に位置せしめた場合には吸引管が充分な長さに渡って延在せしめられ、そしてまた外蓋が閉位置に位置せしめられた時には吸引管の流路が充分確実に閉塞され、比較的大きな衝撃が加えられても内容物が漏出する虞がない新規且つ改良された容器蓋を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明者等は鋭意検討の結果、外蓋を閉位置に位置せしめると吸引管が少なくとも3箇所で折り曲げられるように構成することによって、上記主たる技術的課題を解決することができることを見出した。

即ち本発明によれば、上記主たる技術的課題を達成する容器蓋として、容器口頸部に装着される蓋本体、開閉自在な外蓋及び可撓性吸引管を具備し、
該蓋本体は容器口頸部の頂面を覆う主壁を有し、該外蓋は該主壁を覆う閉位置と該主壁を少なくとも部分的に露呈せしめる開位置とに選択的に位置せしめられ、
該蓋本体の該主壁には貫通孔が形成されており、該吸引管は該貫通孔から延在せしめられており、
該蓋本体の該主壁には、その上面から上方に突出する突出壁が形成されており、
該外蓋は天面壁及び該天面壁の内面から垂下する垂下壁を有し、
該外蓋が該閉位置に位置せしめられると、該外蓋の該垂下壁は該蓋本体の該貫通孔と該突出壁との間に位置せしめられ、該吸引管は、最初に該垂下壁の作用によって下方に折り曲げられ、次いで該垂下壁と該突出壁との協働によって上方に折り曲げられて該垂下壁と該突出壁との間を通って上方に延び、しかる後に該突出壁と該外蓋との協働によって再び下方に折り曲げられ、そしてまた、該吸引管の、該垂下壁と該突出壁との間を延びる部分は、該垂下壁と該突出壁との間で押潰され、
該外蓋が該開位置にせしめられると、該外蓋の該垂下壁は該貫通孔と該突出壁との間から後退し、該吸引管は該突出壁の上端を越えて上方に延出する、
ことを特徴とする容器蓋が提供される。

外蓋が該閉位置に位置せしめられると、該吸引管は少なくとも2個の折り曲げ部において、折り曲げに起因して吸引管内の流路が閉塞される好適である。好適には、該外蓋は該天面壁の周縁から垂下する筒状側壁を有し、該筒状側壁の下端縁の所定部分が該蓋本体に対して旋回自在に接続されており、該下端縁の該所定部分を旋回中心として旋回せしめることによって該閉位置と該開位置とに選択的に位置せしめられ、該外蓋が該閉位置から35乃至60度である角度αだけ旋回せしめられることによって該開位置に位置せしめられ、該外蓋が該開位置まで旋回せしめられると該外蓋が更に旋回せしめられるのを阻止する開位置規制手段が配設されており、該外蓋が該開位置に位置せしめられると、該吸引管の少なくとも先端部は、該外蓋の下縁に沿って延在して水平に対して該角度αをなして延出する。該蓋本体の該主壁には、その周縁部から上方に突出する係止壁が形成されており、該外蓋が該閉位置に位置せしめられると、該外蓋の該側壁の下端部内周面が該蓋本体の該係止壁の上端部外周面に係止せしめられ、該蓋本体の該係止壁には、該外蓋が該開位置から該閉位置に旋回せしめられる際に、該吸引管の先端部が該係止壁の外側から内側に向けて移動せしめられる切欠が形成されているのが好ましい。この場合、該蓋本体には、該係止壁の該切欠を塞ぐ作用位置と該切欠を解放する非作用位置との間を移動自在な閉塞片が付設されているのが好適である。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の好適実施形態を図示している添付図面を参照して、更に詳細に説明する。

本発明に従って構成された容器蓋の好適実施形態を図示している図1乃至図4、特に図1を参照して説明すると、全体を番号2で示す図示の容器蓋は、蓋本体4、外蓋6及び吸引管8から構成されている。蓋本体4と外蓋6とは、ポリプロピレン又はポリエチレンの如き適宜の合成樹脂から、図1乃至図4に図示するとおりの形態に射出又は圧縮の如き適宜の成形様式によって成形することができる。一方、細長く延在する管形状である吸引管8は、充分な可撓性及び復元性、そしてまた適宜の滑り性を有する材料、例えばシリコーンゴム又はウレタンゴムの如き合成ゴムから形成されている。

図1乃至図4を参照して説明を続けると、図示の実施形態における蓋本体4は、実質上水平に延在する円形状の主壁10と、この主壁10の周縁に接続されている円筒形状の側壁12とを含んでいる。側壁12は、主壁10の周縁から下方に垂下するスカート壁14と共に、主壁10の周縁から上方に延びる直立壁16を有する。かかる側壁12の外周面には、その両側部(図2において左側部及び右側部)を除いて、上下方向に延びる凹凸18が形成されている。直立壁16には、その特定角度部位の上半部に位置する略半円形状の切欠20が形成されている。スカート壁14には周方向に延びる破断可能ライン22が形成されており、スカート壁14は破断可能ライン22よりも上方の主部24と破断可能ライン22よりも下方のタンパーエビデント裾部26とに区画されている。破断可能ライン22は、若干の間隔をおいて周方向に延びる複数個のスリット(切溝)とかかるスリット間に位置する複数個の橋絡部とを含む周知の形態でよい。スカート壁14における主部24の内周面には雌螺条28が形成されている。タンパーエビデント裾部26の内周面には複数個の係止手段30が形成されている。係止手段30の各々は、周方向に間隔をおいて配置され半径方向内方に向かって上方に傾斜して延びる突出片から構成することができる。

蓋本体4の上記主壁10上には、その周縁部から上方に延びる略円筒形状の係止壁32が形成されている。図1乃至図3から理解される如く、係止壁32の特定角度部位には、その上端縁から下端まで延びる切欠34が形成されている。この切欠34の角度位置は上記直立壁16に形成されている切欠20の角度位置と整合せしめられている。切欠34に対応せしめて、係止壁32には切欠34の下端縁から図1及び図2において左方に延出する閉塞片36が形成されている。この閉塞片36は薄肉ヒンジ片37を介して係止壁30の下端縁に接続されており、その上面乃至内面には矩形状の係止突出部38が形成されている。係止突出部38の周方向幅は切欠34の周方向幅と実質上同一であり、係止突出部38の長さは切欠34の長さより幾分短い。上記係止壁32の外周面上端部には、半径方向外方に膨出せしめられた係止突条40が形成されている。

蓋本体4の上記主壁10の所定位置には貫通孔42が形成されており、そして主壁10上にはかかる貫通孔42の周縁から実質上鉛直に上方に突出する突出円筒44が形成されている。また、主壁10には、上記貫通孔42及び突出円筒44から所定距離だけ離間せしめた位置から上方に突出する突出壁46も形成されている。図1及び図3を参照することによって理解される如く、突出壁46の上端部の両側には拘束突条48が形成されている。かかる拘束突条48間の間隙は上記吸引管8の直径よりも幾分大きく設定されている。蓋本体4の主壁10上には、更に、上記貫通孔42の両側に位置する一対の当接片50も形成されている。かかる当接片50は主壁10から上方に延びており、横断面形状は略L時形状である。当接片50の後面、即ち図1及び図2において右側面の上端部は上方に向かって漸次前方に傾斜する傾斜面であり、前面、即ち図1及び図2において左側面は実質上鉛直に延びる切り立った面である。主壁10の下面には、下方に垂下する薄肉円筒状でよい突起52が形成されている。主壁10の下面には、更に、突起52の内側に位置する2条の環状突条53が形成されている。

図1乃至図4を参照して説明を続けると、外蓋6は天面壁54、この天面壁54の周縁から垂下する(図1乃至図4に図示する状態においては上方に延びる)円筒状壁56、及び天面壁54の内面(図1乃至図4に図示する状態においては上面)から垂下する(図1乃至図4に図示する状態においては上方に延びる)垂下壁58を含んでいる。かかる外蓋6は、その円筒状側壁56の自由端縁(図1乃至図4に図示する状態においては上端縁)と上記蓋本体4の側壁12における直立壁16の自由端縁即ち上端縁との間に配設された薄肉ヒンジ片60によって、蓋本体4に一体に接続されている。図1と共に図4を参照することによって理解される如く、垂下壁58は天面壁54に対して実質上垂直に延在せしめられている。この垂下壁58の先端(図1及び図4に図示する状態においては上端)両側には一対の当接片62が形成されている。当接片62の各々の片面(図1において左側面)には略2等辺三角形状を規定する2個の傾斜面64及び66が形成されており、他面(図1において右側面)は平坦面である。後の説明から明らかになる如く、一対の当接片62は蓋本体4に形成されている上記一対の当接片50と協働して、蓋本体4に対する外蓋6の開動を所定位置に規制する開位置規制手段を構成する。側壁56の内周面の自由端部(図1乃至図4においては上端部)には、円弧状に延びる突条68が形成されている。

図示の実施形態においては、図1に二点鎖線で図示する如く、蓋本体4の突出円筒44に吸引管8の一端部を被嵌し、かくして貫通孔42から吸引管8が延在する状態が確立される。図1と共に図5及び図6を参照して説明を続けると、図示の実施形態においては、容器蓋2を容器に適用する前に、更に、蓋本体4に中栓70が組み合わせられる。この中栓70は、円形底壁72とこの底壁72の周縁から上方に延びる円筒状側壁74とを含んでいる。底壁72の上面には引張リング76が形成されている。側壁74の外周面上端部には、半径方向外方に突出する薄肉フランジ78が形成されている。かような中栓70は、その薄肉フランジ78を蓋本体4における主壁10の下面に形成されている上記突起52の内周面に弾性的に係止せしめることによって、比較的弱く、換言すれば小さな力で容易に離脱され得るように、蓋本体2に保持される。

中栓70を蓋本体4に組み合わせた後に或いはその前に、薄肉ヒンジ片58によって蓋本体4に接続されている外蓋6は、薄肉ヒンジ片58を中心として、図1乃至図4に図示する成形位置から図5及び図6に図示する閉位置に旋回閉動せしめられる。かかる閉動の際には、図1、図6及び図8を比較参照することによって理解される如く、外蓋6に形成されている一対の当接片62の傾斜面64が蓋本体4に形成されている一対の当接片50の傾斜面に干渉し、当接片62及び/又は50が弾性変形せしめられ、当接片62が当接片50を通過する。外蓋6が図5及び図6に図示する閉位置まで閉動せしめられると、外蓋6の円筒状壁56の内周面に形成されている突条68が蓋本体4の係止壁32の外周面に形成されている係止突条40に弾性的に係止せしめられ、これによって外蓋6が図5及び図6に図示する閉位置に保持される。

図1、図6及び図8を比較参照することによって理解される如く、外蓋6が閉位置まで旋回閉動せしめられると、外蓋6の垂下壁58が蓋本体4の主壁10に形成されている貫通孔42及び突出円筒44と突出壁46との間に位置せしめられる。そして、この際には、先ず最初に外蓋6の垂下壁58が可撓性吸引管8に作用することによって吸引管8が下方に折り曲げられ、次いで外蓋6の垂下壁58と蓋本体4の突出壁46との協働によって上方に折り曲げられ、更に、蓋本体4の突出壁46と外蓋6の円筒状壁56との協働によって再び下方に折り曲げられて、蓋本体4の主壁10と外蓋6との間に収納される。吸引管8が突出壁46の上端部に沿って湾曲せしめられる際には、吸引管8は突出壁46の拘束突条48間を通って延び、これによって横方向に変位することが防止される。図示の実施形態においては、上述のとおりにして吸引管8が3回に渡って折り曲げられ、それ故に吸引管8を比較的長くせしめても、充分確実に蓋本体4と外蓋6との間に収納することができる。加えて、図6に番号80、82及び84で示す如く、3回の折り曲げの各々において折り曲げに起因して吸引管8が閉塞される。また、垂下壁58と突出壁46との協働によって上方に折り曲げられて突出壁46に沿って延びる吸引管8は、突出壁46に沿って上方に延びる際には、図6に番号86で示す如く、垂下壁58と突出壁46との間で押潰される。かくして、後に更に言及する如く、外蓋6が閉位置に位置せしめられると、吸引管8を通しての内容物の排出が充分確実に密封される。図示の実施形態においては、更に、蓋本体4に配設されている閉塞片36が、薄肉ヒンジ片37を旋回中心として図1乃至4に図示する非作用位置から図5及び図6に図示する作用位置に旋回せしめられ、閉塞片36の係止突出部38が切欠34内に強制的に進入せしめられそこに弾性的に保持される。かくして、開放されていた切欠34が閉塞片36によって塞がれ、吸引管8の全体が覆い隠される。

図5及び図6を参照して説明を続けると、中栓70が組み合わされ、外蓋6が閉位置に位置せしめられ、閉塞片36が作用位置にせしめられた容器蓋2は、ポリエチレンテレフタレートの如き適宜の合成樹脂から形成することができる容器88の口頸部90に装着される。容器88の口頸部90は略円筒形状であり、その外周面には雄螺条92とその下方に位置する係止あご部94が形成されている。容器蓋2はその蓋本体4を口頸部90に被嵌し、閉方向即ち図6において上方から見て時計方向に回転せしめることによって、口頸部90に装着される。蓋本体4のスカート壁14における主部24の内周面に形成されている雌螺条28が口頸部90の雄螺条92に螺合せしめられ、タンパーエビデント裾部26に形成されている係止手段30が弾性的に変形せしめられて係止あご部94を通過し、その下方に係止せしめられる。蓋本体4に組み合わされた中栓70は、その薄肉フランジ78が口頸部90の上端に密接せしめられ、その側壁74の外周面が口頸部90の内周面に密接せしめられる。

例えば液体飲料である容器88の内容物を飲む際には、蓋本体4の側壁12に指を掛けて容器蓋4を開方向即ち図6において上方から見て反時計方向に回転せしめる。かくすると、蓋本体4の雌螺条28が口頸部90の雄螺条92に沿って移動せしめられる故に、タンパーエビデント裾部26を除いて蓋本体2、外蓋6及び吸引管8は回転と共に上昇せしめられる。一方、蓋本体4のタンパーエビデント裾部26は係止手段30が口頸部90の係止あご部94に係止されている故に上方に移動することが阻止され、かくしてスカート壁14に形成されている破断可能ライン22は破断されて、タンパーエビデント裾部26がスカート壁14の主部24から分離される。破断可能ライン22のかかる破断によって、容器蓋2が操作されたことが明示され、所謂タンパーエビデント特性が補償される。タンパーエビデント裾部26を残留せしめて、蓋本体4のその他の部分、外蓋6及び吸引管8は口頸部90から離脱される。一方、中栓70は上述した如く小さな力で容易に離脱され得るように蓋本体4に組み合わされているので、蓋本体4から離脱せしめられて口頸部90に残留せしめられる。しかる後に、引張リング76に指を掛けて中栓70を口頸部90から離脱せしめて口頸部90を開封する。次いで、中栓70が離脱された口頸部90に容器蓋2を再び装着、即ち蓋本体4を口頸部90に被嵌して閉方向に回転せしめ、蓋本体4のスカート壁14に形成されている雌螺条28を口頸部90の雄螺条92に螺合せしめる。かくすると、図8に図示する如く、蓋本体4の主壁10の下面に形成されている突条53が容器88の口頸部90の上端面に当接せしめられ、これによって口頸部90が密封される。しかる後に、薄肉ヒンジ片60を旋回中心として外蓋6を旋回開動せしめる。外蓋6が図7及び図8に図示する開位置まで35乃至60度程度でよい角度αだけ旋回開動せしめられると、図8に明確に図示する如く、外蓋6に形成されている一対の当接片62の傾斜面66が蓋本体4に形成されている一対の当接片50の切り立った前面に当接せしめられ、これによって外蓋6が図7及び図8に図示する開位置を越えて更に旋回開動されることが阻止される。

而して、外蓋6が図7及び図8に図示する開位置まで旋回開動せしめられると、図6と図8とを比較参照することによって理解される如く、蓋本体4の突出壁46と外蓋6の垂下片58とによる吸引管8に対する折り曲げ作用及び押潰作用が解除され、図7及び図8に図示する如く、吸引管8はそれ自身の弾性復元力によってその主要部が外蓋6の円筒状壁56の自由端縁に沿って延びる状態になる。吸引管8のかような弾性復元作用の際には、吸引管8が閉塞片36に作用してこれを図5及び図6に図示する作用位置から図7及び図8に図示する非作用位置に移動せしめる。吸引管8の弾性復元作用が比較的緩やかで閉塞片36を作用位置から非作用位置に移動せしめるのに充分でない場合には、閉塞片36に指を掛けて非作用位置に移動せしめればよい。吸引管8が図7及び図8に図示する状態にせしめられると、折り曲げによる閉塞及び押潰による閉塞が解除される。従って、吸引管8の先端部を口に銜えて吸引することにより、容器88に収容されている飲料を飲むことができる。吸引管8は充分に長く延在せしめられ、それ故に充分容易にその先端部を銜えることができる。必要に応じて、容器88の主部を幾分押潰して容器88からの飲料の排出を促進することもできる。所要量の飲料を飲んだ後においては、外蓋6を図5及び図6に図示する閉位置に旋回閉動せしめる。そしてまた、必要に応じて閉塞片36を作用位置に戻す。かくすると、上述した如く、吸引管8が3回に渡って折り曲げられ、かかる折り曲げに起因して閉塞される。図示の実施形態においては、図6に番号80、82及び84で示す如く、3回の折り曲げの各々に起因して閉塞される。また、垂下壁58と突出壁46との協働によって上方に折り曲げられて突出壁46に沿って延びる吸引管8は、突出壁46に沿って上方に延びる際には、図6に番号86で示す如く、垂下壁58と突出壁46との間で押潰される、かくして、外蓋6が閉位置に位置せしめられると、吸引管8を通しての内容物の排出が充分確実に密封され、衝撃等が作用しても充分な密封が維持される。更に、蓋本体4に配設されている閉塞片36が、薄肉ヒンジ片37を図5及び図6に図示する作用位置に旋回せしめると、開放されていた切欠34が閉塞片36によって塞がれ、吸引管8の全体が覆い隠される。

【発明の効果】
本発明の容器蓋においては、外蓋を閉位置に位置せしめた時には充分容易に外蓋内に吸引管を収納することができるにもかかわらず、外蓋を開位置に位置せしめた場合には吸引管が充分な長さに渡って延在せしめられる。外蓋が閉位置に位置せしめられた時には吸引管の流路が充分確実に閉塞され、比較的大きな衝撃が加えられても内容物が漏出する虞がない。
