<第1実施形態>
第1実施形態に係る液晶装置について、図1から図6を参照して説明する。
<電子機器>
次に、上述した電気光学装置である液晶装置を各種の電子機器に適用する場合について説明する。
Claims (5)
- 第1基板と、
該第1基板上に所定画素ピッチで配列された複数の画素電極と、
該複数の画素電極が配列された画素領域に、前記画素電極よりも層間絶縁膜を介して下層側に配置されると共に前記画素電極と電気的に接続された電子素子と、
前記第1基板と対向して配置された第2基板と、
前記画素領域の周囲に沿ったシール領域において、前記第1及び第2基板を相互に貼り合わせるシール材と、
前記第1基板上の前記画素領域に、前記画素電極よりも下層側に配置されると共に前記電子素子に電気的に接続された複数の走査線と、
該複数の走査線と互いに交差するように、前記画素電極よりも下層側に配置されると共に、N(但し、Nは2以上の整数)本毎にブロック化された複数のデータ線と、
前記第1基板上に、前記第1基板の一辺に沿って設けられ、外部回路からの画像信号が供給される複数の画像信号端子と、
該複数の画像信号端子に夫々電気的に接続されると共に、前記シール領域のうち前記一辺に沿った領域において前記一辺に交わる方向に沿って配置された配線部分を有する複数の画像信号線と、
前記第1基板上に、前記複数のデータ線に夫々対応する複数のスイッチを含み、前記ブロック毎に1本のデータ線を選択して、前記複数の画像信号線のうち前記選択したデータ線が属するブロックに対応する画像信号線から供給される前記画像信号を、前記選択したデータ線に出力する選択回路と、
前記第1基板上における前記複数の画像信号線のうち互いに隣り合う画像信号線の前記配線部分間に設けられると共に前記複数のデータ線、前記複数の走査線及び前記電子素子を構成する導電膜のうち少なくとも一の導電膜と同一膜からなる複数のダミー配線と
を備え、
前記複数のダミー配線は前記画素領域と前記画像信号端子との間に、前記シール領域に重なるように配置され、且つ前記シール領域の外側に沿って配置された定電位線に電気的に接続されると共に、該定電位線から前記シール領域側へ夫々突出するように且つ前記定電位線から前記画像信号端子側へ夫々突出しないように配置されている
ことを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 前記複数のダミー配線は、互いに隣り合う前記配線部分間において、前記所定画素ピッチと等しい配列ピッチで配列される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気光学装置。 - 前記配線部分は、層間絶縁膜を介して互いに異なる層に配置された複数の導電膜から夫々形成され、
前記複数のダミー配線は夫々、前記複数の導電膜と同一膜から形成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電気光学装置。 - 前記複数のダミー配線の配線幅は、前記複数の画像信号線の配線幅と互いに等しくなるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置を具備してなることを特徴とする電子機器。
