Description
軸方向に貫通孔が形成された枢軸を一体的に有する第1の回動部材と、前記枢軸が挿通される軸孔を有し、前記枢軸を回動中心として前記第1の回動部材に対して相対的に回動可能な第2の回動部材と、リング状に形成され、前記枢軸及び前記軸孔を囲繞するように前記第1の回動部材と前記第2の回動部材との間に挟持された止水部材とを備え、前記第1の回動部材が有底筒状に設けられて、前記枢軸が前記第1の回動部材の内側において前記第1の回動部材の底に凸設され、前記第2の回動部材にはボスが凸設され、前記軸孔が前記ボスの端面から反対面まで貫通し、前記ボスが前記第1の回動部材に挿入され、前記止水部材が前記第1の回動部材の底と前記ボスの端面との間に挟持されていることを特徴とする。
請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のヒンジ装置を備えることを特徴とする。
図1は、携帯電話機1の斜視図であり、図2は、携帯電話機1の正面図であり、図3は、図2に示された切断線III−IIIの矢視断面図である。
図4に示した状態は、図1の(c)の状態に対応している。この状態ではクリックリング110の凹部112に凸部76が入り込んでいる。また、この状態では、ストッパ130の突起部132が切欠き142の一方の縁部143に当接し、突起部131が突起部77に当接しているので、第2の回動部材70を第1の回動部材60に対して一方に回転することができるが他方には回転することができない。すなわち、図1の(a)の状態から図1の(c)の状態にする際に回転させた方向と逆の方向にしか回転させることができない。
図7及び図8は、携帯電話機1Aの斜視図であり、図9は、図7(b)に示された軸線42Aに沿った面の矢視断面図である。
まず、ストッパ67Aの円周方向一端がストッパ77Aの円周方向一端に当接し、これにより、第1の回動部材60Aに対する第2の回動部材70Aの時計回りの回転が止められている。また、凹部118Aに凸部112Aが入り込んでおり、ディスクスプリング120Aの弾性力がフランジ61Aとフランジ66Aの間隔を広げるように作用し、その反作用でフランジ61Aとフランジ66Aの間に挟まれた部材が締め付けられ、これにより、第1の回動部材60Aに対する第2の回動部材70Aの反時計回りの回転も止められている。この状態は図7(a)〜(c)や図8(a)の状態に対応する。
コネクタ152Aを第2の筐体3Aに配置して、配線150Aを軸孔33A及び止水材210Aに通す。続いて、ヒンジカバー170Aを支持部32Aと支持部34Aとの間に挿入し、軸部材220Aに配線150Aを通しつつ軸部材220Aをヒンジカバー170Aの内側から通し孔172A及び軸孔33Aに嵌入させる。続いて、ヒンジユニット190Aを軸孔35A及び凹部173Aに嵌入させる。続いて、ヒンジ装置4Aのフランジ66、ワッシャー130A、ディスクスプリング120A及び第2のクリックリング116Aをゴム状リング180Aに嵌入させ、爪掛け部181Aに爪78Aを係止させる。続いて、配線150Aを通し孔68Aに通しつつ、ヒンジ装置4Aをヒンジカバー170Aの内部空間171Aに挿入し、第2の回動部材70Aをネジによってヒンジカバー170Aに止める。続いて、溝27Aにパッキン28Aを嵌め込み、配線150Aを円孔25Aに通し、第1の回動部材60Aを取付凹部26Aに嵌め込む。そして、第1の筐体2の内側からネジを通して、そのネジを第1の回動部材60Aに螺合させる。
例えば、上記実施形態では携帯型電子機器として携帯電話機を例に挙げて説明を行ったが、第1の筐体2と第2の筐体3とが、これらの筐体の前後面に対して垂直となる軸を中心として相対的に回動できる構成を有する携帯型電子機器であれば、ノート型パーソナルコンピュータ、デジタルカメラ、腕時計、PDA(Personal Digital Assistance)、電子手帳、携帯型無線機、その他の電子機器に本発明を適用しても良い。

Claims (6)
- 軸方向に貫通孔が形成された枢軸を一体的に有する第1の回動部材と、
前記枢軸が挿通される軸孔を有し、前記枢軸を回動中心として前記第1の回動部材に対して相対的に回動可能な第2の回動部材と、
リング状に形成され、前記枢軸及び前記軸孔を囲繞するように前記第1の回動部材と前記第2の回動部材との間に挟持された止水部材とを備え、
前記第1の回動部材が有底筒状に設けられて、前記枢軸が前記第1の回動部材の内側において前記第1の回動部材の底に凸設され、前記第2の回動部材にはボスが凸設され、前記軸孔が前記ボスの端面から反対面まで貫通し、前記ボスが前記第1の回動部材に挿入され、前記止水部材が前記第1の回動部材の底と前記ボスの端面との間に挟持されていることを特徴とするヒンジ装置。 - 前記ボスの端面の縁部分にリング状凸部が形成され、そのリング状凸部が前記第1の回動部材の底に当接していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のヒンジ装置。
- 前記第1の回動部材の外周面に巻装された第1のパッキンと、
前記第1の回動部材の外において前記ボスの外周面に巻装された第2のパッキンとを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のヒンジ装置。 - 前記第1の回動部材が携帯型電子機器の第1の筐体に形成された第1の孔に挿入され、前記第1のパッキンが前記第1の回動部材の外周面と前記第1の孔の壁面との間に挟まれ、前記第1の回動部材が前記第1の筐体に固定され、前記ボスが前記携帯型電子機器の第2の筐体に形成された第2の孔に挿入され、前記第2のパッキンが前記ボスの外周面と前記第2の孔の壁面との間に挟まれ、前記第2の回動部材が前記第2の筐体に固定されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のヒンジ装置。
- 前記止水部材が軸線方向中央部でくびれた状態に設けられ、前記止水部材が前記第1の回動部材と前記第2の回動部材との間に挟持されて圧縮されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のヒンジ装置。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のヒンジ装置を備えることを特徴とする携帯型電子機器。
