スイッチ装置が取付けられる取付面に固定される固定カバーと、スイッチ装置を覆う第1位置とスイッチ装置を開放する第2位置とに亘って回動可能な可動カバーとを備え、可動カバーが第1位置の状態にあるときに、可動カバーの開きを規制する規制手段を取付けることにより可動カバーの開放を防止するようにした保護カバーであって、
前記可動カバーの回動軸が、前記固定カバーの側壁の端部を除く位置に設けられ
前記規制手段が固定カバーと可動カバーのいずれか一方に取り付けれるように構成され、
前記固定カバーと前記可動カバーの何れか一方には、前記規制手段の係止部が挿通する規制手段取付用孔が形成されており、
前記固定カバーと前記可動カバーの何れか他方には、前記規制手段が前記規制手段取付用孔に取り付けられた際に規制手段の係止部に当接して可動カバーの開放方向への回動を規制する切欠きが形成されていることを特徴とする保護カバー。
