本発明の目的は、内燃機関において精度良く失火を検出できる失火検出装置を提供することにある。
すると、図7のように、ある平面で○の領域と×の領域に分割される。

Claims (2)
- 内燃機関のクランク軸が一定角度回転するのに要する時間を計測する回転検出手段と、回転所要時間を処理することで内燃機関の失火を検出する信号処理手段とを備えた内燃機関の失火検出装置において、
信号処理手段は、燃料カット指令が出ているときに気筒ごとの回転所要時間を記憶する非燃焼時回転所要時問メモリと、気筒ごとの燃焼ばらつきを製造時に記憶する燃焼ばらつきメモリと、燃焼行程気筒に応じてこれら2つのメモリから出力される非燃焼時回転所要時間と燃焼ばらつきとの和を回転検出手段が出力する回転所要時間から引いた値から特定成分を抽出するフィルタと、フィルタの出力が閾値を超えるときに失火と判定する閾値判定手段とを備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の失火検出装置。 - 請求項1に記載の内燃機関の失火検出装置において、信号処理手段に、回転所要時間からエンジン回転数を算出するエンジン回転数検出手段を加え、非燃焼時回転所要時間メモリと燃焼ばらつきメモリとでエンジン回転数にもとづく補正を行うことを特徴とした内燃機関の失火検出装置。
