Claims (15)
- 原料ガスと水から改質触媒体を用いた反応によって水素リッチガスを生成しこれを出口ポートから送出する改質器と、前記改質器に前記原料ガスを供給する原料供給手段と、前記改質器に前記水を供給する水供給手段と、燃料ガスを空気と混合し燃焼させて生じた熱を前記改質触媒体に供給するバーナーと、前記バーナーに空気を供給する空気供給手段とを備えた水素生成装置において、
前記水素生成装置の停止時において、前記原料ガスのみを用いて前記改質器の内部をパージ処理する前に前記原料ガス及び前記水を用いて前記改質器の内部をパージ処理する際に、前記空気の供給量を増加させると共に前記パージ処理によって前記出口ポートから送出される可燃ガスを前記バーナーにおいてその可燃濃度未満にまで前記空気と混合し希釈して外部に排出させる水素生成装置。 - 前記バーナーは、前記改質触媒体に熱交換によって熱を与えるため、燃料ガスを空気と混合し燃焼させて生じた燃焼ガスを通過させる燃焼ガス経路を備えており、前記バーナーの内部の前記可燃ガスと前記空気を含む混合ガス中の可燃ガス濃度を可燃濃度未満に希釈させた後、前記混合ガスを前記燃焼ガス経路に通流させることによって前記改質触媒体を冷却させる請求項1記載の水素生成装置。
- 前記バーナーの内部の前記可燃ガスと前記空気を含む混合ガス中の可燃ガス濃度を可燃濃度未満に希釈させた後、前記混合ガスを大気中に放出させる請求項1記載の水素生成装置。
- 前記可燃ガスを前記バーナーに排出させる期間中、前記空気供給手段から絶え間なく前記バーナーに前記空気を供給させる請求項1記載の水素生成装置。
- 前記改質触媒体の温度が所定温度以上である期間中は、前記原料ガスと前記水の両方を用いて前記改質器の内部をパージ処理し、その後、前記所定温度になった後の期間において、前記原料ガスのみを用いて前記改質器の内部をパージ処理する請求項1記載の水素生成装置。
- 前記原料ガスと前記水の両方を用いて前記改質器の内部をパージ処理する場合において、前記水から生成される水蒸気に対する前記原料ガス中のカーボン比を2以上にする請求項5記載の水素生成装置。
- 前記原料ガスと前記水の両方を用いて前記改質器の内部をパージ処理する場合において、前記原料ガスのモル数基準に基づく供給量を前記水蒸気に含まれるモル数基準に基づく溶存酸素量よりも多くする請求項6記載の水素生成装置。
- 前記原料ガスのみを用いて前記改質器の内部をパージ処理する際に、前記改質器の内容積の1倍以上でかつ内容積の10倍以下の原料ガス量を前記改質器に供給させる請求項5記載の水素生成装置。
- 前記所定温度は、前記原料ガスが熱分解する下限温度および水蒸気の凝縮結露を発生し始める温度のうちの高い方の温度である請求項5乃至8の何れかに記載の水素生成装置。
- 原料ガスと水から水素リッチガスを生成する改質触媒体を有する改質器と、前記改質触媒体を熱交換可能に加熱するバーナーとを備えた水素生成装置の作動停止方法であって、
前記原料ガスのみを用いて前記改質器の内部をパージ処理する前に前記改質器の内部に原料ガス及び前記水を供給してパージ処理する際に前記バーナーの内部に供給する空気量を増加させることによって、前記バーナーの内部の可燃ガスと前記空気との混合ガス中の前記可燃ガスの濃度を可燃濃度未満にまで希釈させる水素生成装置の作動停止方法。 - 前記可燃ガスの濃度を可燃濃度未満に希釈させた後、前記可燃ガスを大気に放出させる請求項10記載の水素生成装置の作動停止方法。
- 前記バーナーの内部の可燃ガスと前記空気との混合ガス中の前記可燃ガスの濃度を可燃濃度未満にまで希釈させた後、前記バーナーに前記空気を引き続き供給することで前記改質触媒体の温度を降下させる請求項10または11記載の水素生成装置の作動停止方法。
- 請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の水素生成装置と、前記水素生成装置から供給される水素リッチガスを用いて発電する燃料電池とを備える燃料電池発電装置であって、
前記バーナーの内部の可燃ガスと前記空気との混合ガス中の前記可燃ガスの濃度を可燃濃度未満にまで希釈させた後、前記水素リッチガスを前記燃料電池に供給して前記燃料電池のアノードにて前記水素リッチガス中の水素ガスを消費させる燃料電池発電装置。 - 前記バーナーの内部の可燃ガスと前記空気との混合ガス中の前記可燃ガスの濃度を可燃濃度未満にまで希釈させた後、前記燃料電池の内部で消費された水素ガス消費総量を、前前改質ガス供給路を通流する水素リッチガス中の水素ガス含有総量で除して得られる水素ガス消費割合を前記改質触媒体の温度に基づいて制御する請求項13記載の燃料電池発電装置。
- 前記改質触媒体の温度降下に応じて前記水素ガス消費割合を増加させる請求項14記載の燃料電池発電装置。
