Description

Claims (9)
- 複数のマイクロプリズムで構成されるコリメータであって、前記マイクロプリズムが、光入力表面と、前記光入力表面からある距離を隔てて設けられる光出力表面と、前記光入力表面と前記光出力表面との間に存在する少なくとも1つの側面とを備える三次元形状をもち、各マイクロプリズムが、前記光入力表面と前記光出力表面との間に、少なくとも1つの狭窄部を有し、また各マイクロプリズムが、前記光入力表面と前記狭窄部との間に、前記光入力表面から前記狭窄部へ向かって接近する対向する側面を少なくとも部分的に有するとともに、前記狭窄部と前記光出力表面との間に、前記狭窄部から前記光出力表面へ向かって広がる対向する側面を少なくとも部分的に有し、前記狭窄部が前記対向する側面間に延在する断面を有する、コリメータ。
- 各マイクロプリズムの前記光入力表面及び前記光出力表面が、同じ大きさであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のコリメータ。
- 前記光入力表面が矩形形状を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のコリメータ。
- 前記マイクロプリズムの前記光入力表面が、共通の閉曲面を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のコリメータ。
- 前記光出力表面が、凸形状を有する、請求項1に記載のコリメータ。
- 前記マイクロプリズムが、前記マイクロプリズムの前記光入力表面を含む下部部分と前記マイクロプリズムの前記光出力表面を含む上部部分とから構成され、前記下部部分が、前記光入力表面から前記狭窄部へ向かって接近する対向する側面を少なくとも部分的に有し、前記上部部分が、前記狭窄部から前記光出力表面へ向かって広がる対向する側面を少なくとも部分的に有し、前記下部部分及び前記上部部分は、前記狭窄部においてオプティカルコンタクトされるように接合されている、請求項1に記載のコリメータ。
- 少なくとも1つの光源と、請求項1ないし6のいずれか一項に記載のコリメータとを有するバックグラウンド照明システム。
- 請求項7に記載のバックグラウンド照明システムを備える液晶画像スクリーン。
- 少なくとも1つの光源と、ハウジングと、請求項1ないし6のいずれか一項に記載のコリメータとを有する照明器具。
