Description

The present invention relates to a mite trap and uses of the tick trap.

Among ticks that damage livestock, some live like a spider, hide in the corner of a barn during the day, and infest livestock at night (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Such mites are small and difficult to observe with the naked eye, and it has not always been easy to know how dense mites live in the barn. For this reason, even if you try to process a drug in a barn to control ticks that damage livestock, it is difficult to determine when to process the drug. May be wasted, and the treatment time of the medicine for controlling ticks would be too late, causing tick damage to livestock.
Therefore, in order to properly control mites in livestock farms such as poultry houses, it is necessary to grasp the density of mites in the livestock house.

The present inventors can capture mites parasitizing livestock by installing a device in which two wooden boards are placed in parallel with a space of 0.5 to 3 mm in the barn. The tick capturing device of the present invention can efficiently capture mites in a barn.

The tick trap of the present invention is characterized in that two wooden boards are arranged in parallel with a space between them, and the space between the two wooden boards is 0.5 to 3 mm. is there.
The wooden board used for the tick trap of the present invention may be a single board or a plywood, and its shape is usually rectangular. In this case, the rectangle includes a square, and usually two wooden boards having substantially the same area are used.
Moreover, the area of this wooden board is about 50-5000 cm < 2 > normally from the magnitude | size of the installation place of the tick trap of this invention, and the capture efficiency of a tick, and thickness is about about 1-10 mm normally.

In the mite trap of the present invention, the space portion is an open space so that mites can freely enter and leave the space formed by two wooden boards. When the mite trap of the present invention is composed of two rectangular wooden boards having substantially the same area, at least a portion having a length twice as long as the short side of the wooden board is opened. ing.
The tick trap of the present invention is one in which the two wooden boards are fixed by a fixing member so that the space between the two wooden boards is usually 0.5 to 3 mm.

Examples of the aspect in which the two wooden boards are fixed by the fixing member include the following aspects.
(1) A plurality of (about 4 to 10) columnar fixing members (for example, wooden ones) having a height of 0.5 to 3 mm and a bottom area of about 0.2 to 1 cm 2 between two wooden boards. ) A mode in which the two wooden boards and the fixing member are fixed by an adhesive or the like.
Specifically, as the columnar fixing member, for example, an appropriately sized piece of wood can be used. In this case, the columnar fixing members are arranged at an appropriate interval so that a space of 0.5 to 3 mm is maintained between the two plates and the two plates are parallel to each other. That is, as an arrangement form of the columnar fixing member, for example, the fixing member is arranged at the four corners of a rectangular plate; the fixing member has two opposite sides of the rectangle, three at each end and near the middle, as a whole Form in which six pieces are arranged; in any of both of the above forms, a form in which one fixing member is arranged in the vicinity of the intersection of diagonal lines of a rectangle can be mentioned. (For example, see Figure 2 (Reference Example) )

(2) A plurality of spacer members (about 4 to 10) are fixed to one plate so that the space between the two wooden plates does not become small, and the two plates are laminated with the spacer member interposed therebetween. Further, a mode in which two plates are fixed by a separation preventing member.
In this case, when the two plates are stacked and the two plates are fixed by the separation preventing member, a space of 0.5 to 3 mm is maintained between the two plates. Are arranged at appropriate intervals so as to be parallel to each other. That is, for example, the spacer member is arranged at four corners of a rectangular plate; the spacer member has two opposite sides of the rectangle, three at each end and near the middle, and six in total. Arranged form: In either of the above-mentioned forms, a form in which one spacer member is arranged near the intersection of a rectangular diagonal line can be mentioned.

As one in which the spacer member is fixed to one plate, for example, a plurality of (about 4 to 10) columnar spacer members having a height of 0.5 to 3 mm and a bottom area of about 0.2 to 1 cm 2 are provided on one plate. those fixed by the adhesive, and the needle a plurality (about 4-10) of the stapler to one plate typed something like. In those implanted plurality of needles of the stapler to one plate of the latter, the stapler is not a type of needle called flat clinch type bends 180 ° at the root, that clinch section of the type bent glasses type with curve using It is done.
By using the type of stapler clinch portion bent glasses type with a curved clinch portion of the needle of the stapler which is driven from the plate surface of the plate needles of the stapler is driven is in a state of jumping out. For this reason, when the two plates are laminated so as to sandwich the clinch portion and fixed by the separation preventing member, the clinch portion serves as a spacer member that keeps the space between the two plates from becoming small. .
Therefore, the protrusion of the clinching part is adjusted to have a height of 0.5 to 3 mm.

As a separation preventing member that keeps the distance between the two wooden boards from becoming large, for example, two wooden boards such as a double clip, an eyeball clip, a clothespin, etc. are sandwiched, and the two wooden boards are energized by a spring biasing force. The member which prevents a board from separating, and the member which prevents two wooden boards from separating by adhesive force like a gummed tape are mentioned.
When using a member that prevents the two wooden plates from separating due to the biasing force of the spring as the separation preventing member, for example, by attaching the members one by one to the four corners of the two plates, the tick trap of the present invention It can be. Moreover, when using the member which prevents two wooden boards from separating by adhesive force as a separation prevention member, for example, by attaching the said members to two opposite sides of the wooden board, the tick trap of the present invention is obtained. be able to. (For example, see FIG. 3 (present invention) and FIG. 4 (reference example) )

(3) A plurality of E-shaped fixing members having an E-shaped cross section having a concave portion capable of sandwiching a wooden plate and a convex portion capable of maintaining an interval between two wooden plates at a distance of 0.5 to 3 mm (2 to 2). (Approx. 6)
In this case, examples of the material of the fixing member having an E-shaped cross section include those made of wood and resin (polypropylene, polystyrene, etc.).
In this case, the fixing member having an E-shaped cross section is arranged at an appropriate interval so that a space of 0.5 to 3 mm is maintained between the two plates and the two plates are parallel to each other. That is, as an arrangement form of the fixing member having an E-shaped cross section, for example, an arrangement in which the fixing member is arranged at the four corners of a rectangular plate; A configuration in which six are arranged as a whole; and a configuration in which two fixing members having an E-shaped cross section having a length substantially the same as one side of a rectangular plate are arranged on two opposite sides of the rectangle. Is mentioned. (For example, see Fig. 5 (Reference Example) )

(4) A hole is formed in the same displacement of the two wooden boards, both ends of a bar-shaped spacer member having a bulge in the middle are inserted into the holes of the two wooden boards, and the tip of the spacer member protruding from the wooden board The aspect which attached the fixing member larger than the hole opened to the wooden board to the part.
In this case, as the rod-shaped spacer member having a bulge in the middle, a member having a bulge that maintains a space of 0.5 to 3 mm between two plates is used. Further, the displacement of the holes opened in the two wooden boards is determined so that the two boards are arranged at an appropriate interval so that they are parallel to each other.
That is, for example, the holes are arranged in the four corners of a rectangular wooden board; the fixing members are arranged on two opposite sides of the rectangle, three at both ends and near the middle, and six in total. Form: In either of the above-mentioned forms, a form in which one fixing member is arranged near the intersection of a rectangular diagonal line can be mentioned.
In this aspect, examples of the spacer member and the fixing member include those composed of bolts and three nuts. That is, the bolt with the nut fixed to the intermediate transfer works as a spacer member. Then, both ends of the bolts with nuts fixed to the intermediate transfer are inserted into the holes of the two wooden plates with holes, and different nuts are fixed to the tip portions of the bolts protruding from the wooden plates. Is. (For example, see Fig. 6 (Reference Example) )

In the tick trap of the present invention, the space between the two wooden plates is usually a space other than a fixing member for fixing the two wooden plates in parallel with an interval of 0.5 to 3 mm. Yes.
Moreover, the mite trap of the present invention includes one in which three or more wooden boards are arranged in parallel at intervals of 0.5 to 3 mm.

The tick capturing device of the present invention can capture mites, for example, by installing it in a livestock house (chicken house, pig house, cow house, etc.).
Examples of ticks that can be captured by the tick capturing device of the present invention include duck (Dermanyssus gallinae).

The tick trap of the present invention is installed in the barn at a rate of, for example, one per 0.5-50 m 2 . As an installation place of the tick trap of the present invention, for example, on the floor of a barn (on the floor of the corner of the barn). In addition, when the tick trap of the present invention is used in a poultry house, as a method of installing the tick trap of the present invention, specifically, for example, a method of fixing to a column of a chicken breeding cage loading rack; A method of mounting on the ceiling; a method of inserting between a rack for loading a chicken cage and a chicken cage placed on the rack; a method of installing at the top of a rack for loading a chicken cage; The method of installing in the lower part of the rack is mentioned.
The installation period of the tick trap of the present invention is usually 5 to 40 days.

The tick capturing device of the present invention installed in a barn for a certain period can confirm the number of captured ticks by collecting and separating two wooden boards.

In this way, the number of ticks captured by the tick trap of the present invention correlates with the number of ticks that live in the barn, and it is possible to grasp the density of mites in the barn.

Furthermore, with reference to the population density of ticks in the barn obtained by the tick trap of the present invention, if the barn is treated with a chemical for controlling the ticks in the barn, the barn where few ticks live In addition, it is possible to prevent the medicine from being wasted by treating the medicine, or the treatment time of the medicine for controlling the mites to be too late and the damage of the mites to livestock to spread.
The timing of treatment with chemicals for controlling ticks may vary depending on the type of livestock being bred, temperature, humidity, and other conditions. As a guideline, for example, one book per 20 m 2 in a barn When the catcher of the invention is installed for 7 days, it is judged that it is necessary to treat a drug for controlling mites normally when 100 or more mites are captured.

Moreover, the acaricidal compound can be held in the mite trap of the present invention. Examples of the form in which the acaricidal compound is retained in the mite capturing apparatus of the present invention include a form in which one or both of the two wooden boards constituting the mite capturing apparatus of the present invention are impregnated with the acaricidal compound. In this case, the retained amount of the acaricide compound is usually 0.1 to 10,000 mg per 1 m 2 of the wooden board constituting the mite trap of the present invention.
By holding the acaricidal compound in the mite capturing device of the present invention, it can be expected that mites are captured by the tick capturing device of the present invention and that mite control is also performed.

Next, it shows in a test example about the tick capture ability of the tick trap of this invention.
The two-stage chicken breeding cage loading rack was placed in a poultry house in Test Example approximately 36m 2, established the chicken breeding cage placed respectively on the upper and lower該鶏breeding cages stacked rack 6 chickens each five (Upper 30, lower 30, total 60). These 60 chickens were bred under normal chicken breeding conditions in a chicken breeding cage. About 1000 spiders were released into the poultry house, and chicken breeding was continued for 21 days. Next, test mite traps are placed between the upper stage of the chicken-retaining cage loading rack and the chicken-retaining cage installed above, and the lower stage of the chicken-retaining cage loading rack and the chicken installed thereon. Each one was inserted horizontally between the cages for breeding, and the chickens were further raised for 7 days. After that, the number of the spiders captured by opening the test mite trap was counted (the number of captures 28 days after releasing the spider).
After counting the number of spiders, the opened tick trap was closed again with gum tape, the tick trap was returned to its original location, and the chickens were raised for another 28 days. After that, the number of the spiders captured by opening the test mite trap was counted (the number of captures 56 days after releasing the spider).
The results are shown in Table 1 for the number of spiders captured by the tested tick traps (28 days after releasing the spider and 56 days after releasing the spider).
