本発明は、空調用配管、ガス導管、給湯配管、或いは電線等の長尺体を見栄え良く覆うカバーに係り、詳しくは、カバー固定対象部側に固定されるカバーベースと、このカバーベースとの間に長尺体を収容自在なスペースを確保する状態にカバーベースに対して着脱自在なカバー部材とを備えて成る長尺体カバー、並びにその長尺体カバーの一対を、長尺体長手方向に隣接させて接続してある長尺体カバーの接続部構造に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
室内の壁面に沿って配管される給湯用の管や電気配線、室内機と室外機とを接続する空調用配管等は体裁を構わない無骨なものであり、一定間隔毎に装備されるクランプを伴なった状態での外観はあまり芳しいものではないため、近年では、配管を覆うカバーを設けることにより、内装される長尺体の保護と見栄えの改善を図ることが標準仕様になりつつある。

配管カバーを用いる場合、配管長さが長く、所定長さの配管カバーを繋ぎ合せて対処するとか、エルボ部分では屈曲カバーと直線カバーとを繋ぐといった具合に、カバーどうしを継ぎ足す等の接続部が必要になることも多い。従来、そのような接続部は、突き合わせて対向配置される配管カバーの端部どうしに亘って、隠しカバーを外嵌させて装着する手段が採られていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
隠しカバーを被せて設けることにより、対向配置された配管カバー間の隙間や中の配管類が見えてしまうことを確実に解消できるとか、現場にて寸法合わせして切断された場合の切断面を覆って見栄えを改善できる利点がある。その反面、専用の部品が必要であってコスト的に不利であるとともに、隠しカバー部分は明確に太くなってカバー自体が凹凸したように見えて、却って美観を損ねるおそれもあり、カバーの接続部には改善の余地が残されているものであった。隠しカバーが比較的接近して複数存在するような場合にはその傾向が一層顕著になる。

本発明の目的は、見栄えを改善できる利点を有効に活かしながら、或いはその利点をより強化しながらも廉価に構成できる長尺体カバーの接続部を実現させる点にある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
〔構成〕
請求項1の構成は、図1、10に例示する如く、カバー固定対象部側に固定されるカバーベースh,iと、このカバーベースh,iとの間に長尺体Pを収容自在なスペースを確保する状態に前記カバーベースh,iに対して着脱自在なカバー部材j,kとを備えて成る長尺体カバーB1,B2の一対を、長尺体長手方向に隣接させて接続してある長尺体カバーの接続部構造であって

〔作用〕
請求項1の構成によれば、(イ)一方の長尺体カバー端部の外郭形状を先細り状として、他方の長尺体カバー端部に入り込む状態に嵌合させてあるので、これら両者の長尺体長手方向での嵌合長を長短操作することにより、先細り端部の外周部と他方の長尺体端部の内周部との隙間を小さくした状態、又は殆ど無い状態で長尺体カバーを継ぎ足せるようになる。これは、先細りによって両端部間に相対角度が付いていることに因るのであるが、例えば、外嵌側の端部を先拡がり状とする手段に比べて、外側の長尺体カバーの太さを極力太くすること無く嵌合させること、すなわち、長尺体における嵌合部以外の部分の太さと嵌合部の太さとの差をできるだけ小さくすることが可能になる。

(ロ)又、隣合う長尺体カバーどうしが折れ曲がる状態に相対傾斜していると、例えば直管どうしの嵌合部では、折れ曲がり外側における両端部どうしに先拡がり角が生じる状態になり、嵌合外側の端部が内側端部の外周部から大きく離れて隙間が拡大してしまうのに対して、嵌合部における内側端部が先細り状である本願のものでは、その問題となる折れ曲がり外側での両端部どうしが先拡がり状態になり難いので、極力隙間が増大しないようになる。

請求項1〜5のいずれに記載の長尺体カバーの接続部構造でも、(イ)の作用により、長尺体カバーどうしの接続部が太くなることを抑制しながら、カバー端端部どうしの隙間を小さくして見栄えが改善されるとともに、(ロ)の作用により、長尺体カバーどうしが折れ曲がる状態で接続されても、端部どうしの隙間が拡大されない利点がある。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
図1,2に、室内にて配管された給湯管P(長尺体の一例)の隅部における方向変換部分が示されている。給湯管Pは、保護及び見栄えを目的とした配管カバーB(長尺体カバーの一例)で覆われており、配管カバーBは、ストレート管(長尺体のストレート部の例)5を覆う直線配管カバー(直線長尺体カバーの例)6、エルボ管7(長尺体の屈曲部の例)を覆う屈曲配管カバー(屈曲長尺体カバーの例)8、直線配管カバー6と屈曲配管カバー8とに跨る連結カバー9等から構成されている。

室内の隅では、e壁とf壁とg壁とが交わるところであり、一方の直線配管カバー6はf壁に対して取付けられており、他方の直線配管カバー6はg壁に対して取付けられている。つまり、向かい合う直線配管カバー6,6は、配管カバーBに内装される給湯管Pの軸心xに関して互いに90度捩じられた姿勢で、かつ、互いに異なる面に取付けられており、後述する理由(d1≠d2の関係。図3参照)によって、三次元的な屈曲配管経路が形成されている。

つまり、一方の直線配管カバー6の軸心x1と、他方の直線配管カバー6の軸心x2とが交わらず、段差aが付いた状態でのエルボ管7を配管するものである。そこで、断面円形の屈曲配管カバー8と、一対の連結カバー9,9、及び一対の固定ブラケット10,10等から、三次元的に曲がる方向転換部分を、その双方の軸心x1,x2が交わらない芯ずれを吸収しながら上手く覆う屈曲カバー機構Aを構成してある。この実施形態では、屈曲配管カバー8が長尺体カバーB1に、かつ、連結カバー9と固定ブラケット10とで連結用の長尺体カバーB2に夫々相当して嵌合部Zを形成しているものである。次に、各部品の構造について説明する。

図3に示すように、直線配管カバー6,6は、f壁等の面(w1)にビス4で固定されるカバーベース1と、カバー本体2と、隣合うビス4,4間にてカバー長手方向にスライド移動自在にカバーベース1に係合支持されたクランプ3とから構成されている。カバーベース1にはクランプ3を嵌め入れるための内向きレール部1a,1aと、カバー本体2を嵌め込むための外向き係入部1b,1bが形成されている。

クランプ3は、レール部1a,1aに嵌合する脚片3a,3aと、配管Pを内嵌保持可能な保持片3b,3bを有した管軸方向に短いものであり、1個の直線配管カバー6,6につき複数個装備されている。カバー本体2は、半円弧状の上部2Aの両側にスカート部2B,2Bを備えた断面逆向き略U字形状を呈し、係入部1bに係合する一対の突起2aを各スカート部2Bに形成してある。

クランプ3は、隣合うビス4どうしの間ではスライド自在であり、その範囲内では管軸方向の配管保持位置を自由に設定することができる。配管Pをクランプ3に押し込めば、保持片3b,3bが弾性変形して嵌め入れることができる。カバー本体2は、カバーベース1に対して上方から落とし込み操作すれば、カバー本体2が弾性拡径変形して突起2a,2aが係入部1b,1bを乗り越えてから係合することができる。その乗り越え時のカバー本体2の外方への変位量ΔDを、カバー本体2の設置状態において壁面から離しておく必要がある。

図1,4,10に示すように、L字状の屈曲配管カバー8は、これの軸心8tに沿う面、詳しくは、屈曲軸心8tを全て含んだ面を割面とした基カバー8Aと蓋カバー8Bとから成る2分割構造に構成されており、その両側の先端部8sには先細り形状となるテーパ面11が施されている。両カバー8A,8Bは、蓋カバー8Bが外側となる周縁の段差嵌合部12と、基カバー8Aが凹部13aで、かつ、蓋カバー8Bが凸部13bとなる5箇所の凹凸嵌合部13とによって嵌合されている。各カバー8A,8Bには、直線配管カバー6,6双方の軸心x1,x2が交わる場合(図3のd1=d2であり、図9,10参照)に、直接壁面にビス止め可能とするための孔を後で形成し易くする凹み14を形成してある。

図6,10に示すように、連結カバー9は、円弧形状の上部9Aの両側にスカート部9B,9Bを備えた断面逆向き略U字形状を呈し、直線配管カバー側端部の外郭形状を、先細り状となるテーパ面15に形成し、かつ、屈曲配管カバー側端部の内郭形状を、先拡がり状となるテーパ面16に形成してある。この内側のテーパ面16のテーパ角度は、屈曲配管カバー8のテーパ面11のテーパ角度よりも緩いものに設定されている(図12参照)。連結カバー9の内面には、屈曲配管カバー8の挿入限界を規定することが可能な内周リブ17と、各スカート部9Bの内側に位置するフック部18,18が一体形成されている。

図7,9〜12に示すように、固定ブラケット10は、ビス4で壁面に固定される基部19に、屈曲配管カバー8を係合させるための管軸方向に突出した円弧突起20、直線配管カバー6,6のカバーベース1の壁面からの浮き上がりを規制して保持する押え面21、連結カバー9のフック部18を係止させるための一対の係合部22,22、及び、後述する蛇腹カバーFの端部を引っ掛けて係止するための一対の引掛け部23,23を一体形成した多機能部品に構成されている。

図8に、仮固定状態の屈曲配管カバー8を本固定するための係止片30を示す。係止片30は、屈曲配管カバー8の外径に沿った円弧端面31aを有した略三角形の隠し壁31に、下側突片26と上側突片27との間に嵌まり込む側方突片32を形成して構成されている。側方突片32には、挿入限界を規定するストッパ32aを形成してある。

次に、屈曲カバー機構Aを用いて屈曲配管部分をカバーリングする手順を説明する。図9に示すように、先ず、f壁とg壁の夫々にカバーベース1をビス4を用いて固定し、それらカバーベース1,1の端部のレール部1a,1aに、固定ブラケット10の押え面21を嵌め入れる。次いで、一方の固定ブラケット10のみをg壁にビス4で固定して、他方の固定ブラケット10が動きうる状態で、図10,12に示すように、基カバー8Aの各端部を、各円弧突起20の外側(壁側)に嵌め入れ、それから他方の固定ブラケット10をf壁にビス4で固定する。

この場合、基カバー8Aの各端部を各円弧突起20の外側に嵌め入れてから、両固定ブラケット10,10をビス止めするやり方も可能である。但し、一対の係止片30,30のうち、e壁とg壁側のものは、基カバー8Aの装着後には取付けることができないので、基カバー8Aの装着前に嵌め入れておくようにすると良い。

これにより、両カバーベース1,1と両固定ブラケット10,10が固定され、かつ、基カバー8Aが仮固定された状態になり、この状態でストレート管5、エルボ管7、これら両管5,7を接続するソケット管29から成る給湯管Pを、クランプ3を用いてカバーベース1に係止保持させる。このとき、一方のストレート管5の軸心x1と、他方のストレート管5の軸心x2が交わらずに段差aを生じているので(図2参照)、各カバーベース1,1の最もエルボ管7側のクランプ3,3間における給湯管Pの撓みによってその段差aが吸収される。

次に、図10に示すように、各カバーベース1,1にカバー本体2を嵌め込んで装着するとともに、蓋カバー8Bを基カバー8Aに嵌め入れて屈曲配管カバー8を形成し、それから壁側でない側の係止片30を各固定ブラケット10に装備して、4個の係止片30により、円弧突起20の外周面に先細り先端部8sを押付け、仮固定状態にある屈曲配管カバー8を本固定させる。そして最後に、各連結カバー9,9を各固定ブラケット10,10に嵌め込んで装着することで、コーナー部分における給湯管Pの配管及びそのカバーリングが完了する。

本実施形態では、長尺体カバーB2としてのカバーベースiである固定ブラケット10に対する「カバー固定対象部側」はf壁に、長尺体カバーB1としてのカバーベースhである基カバー8Aに対する「カバー固定対象部側」は固定ブラケット10に夫々相当するものである。

エルボ管7の両側に存在する直線配管カバー6,6間には、方向が90度変更されるだけでなく、その曲がり方向に直交する方向に段差aが付いているので、その段差aを吸収して屈曲カバー機構Aは三次元屈曲するような状態になる。屈曲配管カバー8と連結カバー9とは、若干の隙間を見込んだ遊嵌状態での円弧嵌合とされているので、屈曲配管カバー8の軸心8tを直線配管カバー6の軸心x1又はx2を中心とした相対回動移動が自在(第1融通と定義する)であるとともに、屈曲配管カバー8の軸心8tが直線配管カバー6の軸心x1又はx2に対して傾く折れ曲がり移動がある程度可能(第2融通と定義する)であり、この2種の融通によって前述の段差aを吸収できるようになっている。その吸収形態としては次のような状況が考えられる。

< 1> 屈曲配管カバー8の一方の端部が連結カバー9に対して管軸心P周りに回動し、かつ、屈曲配管カバー8の他方の端部が連結カバー9に対して管軸方向で下方に傾く(図13参照)。これは、一方の連結カバー9部分では第1融通のみが機能し、他方の連結カバー9部分では第2融通のみが機能している状況である。
< 2> 屈曲配管カバー8の両端部が、いずれも各連結カバー9,9に対して管軸心P周りに回動するとともに管軸方向で傾く。この傾きは、一方は下方に傾き、他方は上方に傾く。これは、いずれの連結カバー9部分でも、第1融通と第2融通の双方が機能している状況である。これら第1融通や第2融通は次のような問題を解決できる利点がある。

すなわち、実公平7−36234号公報の図1に示された従来の屈曲カバー機構では、配管の敷設場所条件によっては、屈曲配管カバーを円滑に装備し難い状態となることがあった。すなわち、図1に示すように、エルボの両側に配置される直線配管カバーが、それらカバーに内装される配管の軸心に関して互いに90度捩じられた姿勢で、かつ、互いに異なる面に取付けられることにより、一方の直線配管カバーでの設定配管中心と、他方の直線配管カバーでの設定配管中心とが互いに交わらず、三次元的な屈曲配管経路が形成される場合である。それは、次のような原因に因る。

図3に示すように、直線配管カバーは、構造物の面に固定されるカバーベース1と、このカバーベース1に対して着脱自在に取付けられるカバー本体2と、カバーベース1に設けられた配管支持用のクランプ3とから構成されており、全体としての断面形状は、矩形における壁面と反対側の一辺が半円形に丸められた略カマボコ形を呈している。そして、半円形辺を円弧とする径の中心Xに配管Pが位置するようにクランプ3が形成されており、配管Pの直下位置にカバーベース1を壁面に固定するためのビス4が配置されている。

又、種々の配管径に対応可能となるように、配管Pの外周とカバー本体2の内周とに所定の間隙aを設けるとか、カバー本体2をカバーベース1に弾性的に係合させるための外側への膨出変形空間bを確保するといった諸条件を満たすように設計すると、カバーベース1の取付対象壁面w1と配管軸心xとの間隔d1と、近接する横側方の壁面w2と配管軸心xとの間隔d2とには、d1≠d2の関係が生じることとなり、これが前述した原因である。

従って、屈曲配管カバーを直線配管カバーに直接に接続させる構造では、d1≠d2の関係を満たすべく、種々の施工状況に即した偏心量が施された複数種の屈曲配管カバーがその都度必要になるから、いきおい、成形金型が多くなってコスト高になってしまう。そこで、実公平7−36234号公報の図7に示されたもののように、エルボ管部分を覆う断面円形の屈曲カバー本体と、該屈曲カバー本体の端部と直線配管カバーの端部とに亘って外装される連結カバーの一対と、の3部品を用いる構造を踏襲することにより、複数種の屈曲配管カバーを用意すること無く良好にカバーさせることが考えられた。

すなわち、前述したd1≠d2の関係によって直線配管カバーと屈曲配管カバーとの接続箇所が傾くとか、両者の隙間が均一に取れない等の接続ずれを、連結カバーで覆うことによって外観を向上できるとともに、屈曲配管カバーと連結カバーとは1種類で良く、部品点数は増えるが金型費を削減できる点で汎用性が備わるようになり、全体としてはコストダウンできる合理的な手段としてである。

しかしながら、前記公報に図7に示された構造そのままでは、前述の3次元的に曲がる屈曲部を見栄え良くカバーすることが依然として難しいことが分かってきたのである。つまり、実公平7−36234号公報の図7に示されたものでは、一対の連結カバーを壁面にビス止め固定し、かつ、屈曲配管カバーは、これと連結カバーとを周溝嵌合させることで相対姿勢が固定された状態で装備される構造であるから、互いに壁面に固定された連結カバーと屈曲配管カバーとの姿勢のずれを吸収する部分が存在しない。

故に、前述したd1≠d2が存在する場合には、取付け施工ができない又は行ない難いとか、無理に取付けて周溝嵌合部や屈曲カバー本体を破損させてしまう等の不都合が生じ易いものであり、無理なく円滑に施工できるようにするには更なる改善の余地が残されているものであった。

そこで、本発明のように、内嵌側のカバー端部を先細り状として嵌合させることにより、前記< 1> や< 2> で述べたように、長尺体カバーどうしである屈曲カバー本体8と連結カバー9とを、これらの両者の相対折れ曲がり変位や相対角度変位を無理なく吸収しながらも、端部どうしの隙間を小さくして目立たないようにしながら接続できる状態が得られるようになったのである。
