【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、配管内の更生を行う塗装において、更生対象の管体に挿入した塗装ピグを管内で往復移動させ、均一で塗りムラの無い塗装を行う管内面塗装方法に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
ビル,マンション等に布設される給水管,排水管は長年使用すると管内面に錆や腐食が発生し、機能が低下し使用に耐えられなくなる。従ってこの機能障害の生じる前に新しい管に交換する事が望ましいが、管の交換は長期に亘る断水等の支障を伴い、更には、交換には高価な費用を要する。そこで、既設された配管を動かすこと無くそのままの状態で管内部の錆や付着した異物を除去し,内面を研磨した後,管内面に防錆塗被膜を形成する更生方法が採用されている。

これ等配管の更生には各種の工法が用いられ、圧縮空気を用いた押出式の方法、即ち、一端から圧縮空気を導入し、この高速気流に研磨材を投入し圧送したり、研磨ピグを圧送して錆や付着物を除去した後、同じように圧送空気をもって、塗料と塗料の後部に塗装用ピグを挿入し、これ等を圧送することにより塗装を行う方法がある。

この押出し工法では、圧縮空気を用いる為、配管には通常の使用状態より高い圧力がかかる為、腐食して弱くなった部分に損傷を与える恐れがある等の問題があったり、研磨行程では研磨された錆や付着物がピグの前面に堆積し、ついにはピグが管内で停滞し、このピグを逆方向から圧力をかけ取除く作業が必要となったり、塗装行程ではピグ進行方向面にある塗料の量が塗装が進むにつれ減少するので、それに伴って圧送力を下げる必要が生じ調整が難しく均等な塗装が行えず操作に熟練を必要とする不都合がある。

出願人は上記ピグの押出方法の問題を克服する為検討を重ね、前記配管の負担が少なく、ピグが管路の途中で停滞することなく、ピグの移送する際の操作,調整が容易であるようピグ吸引方法に着目した。しかし、このピグ吸引方法では管内面塗装に際し、配管の接続部の段差等の凹部において管内を移動するピグが一方向だけに進む為塗り残しが生じる問題があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
更生配管に負担が少なく、ピグの移送する際の操作調整が容易であり、更に管接合による段部等の塗り残りを防ぐ塗装方法を提供する。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は斬様な実情に鑑み、この課題に対処するために創案したもので、管の左右に塗料供給部を設けると共に、両開放端の夫々にはピグ挿入及びピグや塗料を受止める受止め装置を設け、これを、空気取入れ開閉弁、切替開閉弁を備えたヘッダーを介して吸引装置に接続し、管の何れか一方のピグ挿入部からピグを挿入し、更に該ピグの進行方向に塗料を供給し他方側の吸引装置を起動して管内を負圧とした後ピグ挿入側の開閉弁を操作して空気を導入し、ピグ前後の差圧により管内を移動させて受止め装置でピグを受止め管内面に塗装を行い、更に吸引装置及び空気取入開閉弁を切替えると共に再び管内を負圧として前記作動でピグを反対方向に移動し、ピグを管内で往復させ塗装する方法を提供するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態の一例について図面を参照しながら説明する。
図1は、本発明の配管全体を示した説明図である。1は管体で、この管体1の管端側の左右に夫々管体1内に塗料を供給する開閉弁2,2aを備えたタンク3,3aを設けてある。また管体1の両開放端には、ピグ挿入口4,4a及び周囲の数個の穴を有したピグ受止管5,5aを設けると共に塗料の受止めを行うよう膨大部6,6aとした受止め装置7,7aを設けてある。
8,8aはヘッダーで、このヘッダー8,8aには開閉弁9,9aを設けた吸入管10,10a及び加圧調整弁11,11a、開閉弁12,12aを備えて前記受止め装置7,7aに接続されると共に集塵装置13,13aを介して吸引装置14,14aに夫々接続する。受止め装置7,7aの膨大部6,6aに設けたピグ挿入口4,4aは夫々密閉可能にした蓋15,15aを設けると共に下部には適宜残留塗料を除去する開閉弁16,16aを設けてある。
なお、ここに示したものは実施の一形態であって、機能を果たすものであればこの実施形態に限定するものではない。

次に配管更生の塗装について述べる。
例えば膨大部7に設けたピグ挿入口4より塗布ピグPを挿入し、また塗料タンク3の開閉弁2を開いて管体1の内面を塗装し、多少余剰の出る量の塗料を前記塗布ピグPの前面側に供給した後、吸引装置14aを起動する。この時ピグ挿入側、負圧解除する全ての開閉弁は閉としている。管内の負圧が得られた後、ヘッダー8の吸入管10の開閉弁9を微開し取入量を調整しながら外気を導入する。取入量の調整加圧調整弁11を作動する調節計17,17aの指示で調整する。
吸入管10から導入された空気は吸引装置14aに向かって流れ、塗布ピグPの前後の差圧作用で塗布ピグPを吸引装置14aに向かって推進する。この時塗料はピグPに先行して流れ、塗布ピグPは管内面を塗装しながら移動し、ピグ受止め装置7a内の受止管5aに当って停止する。
更に、ピグが停止すると吸引装置14a、他方の吸引装置14の開閉弁12,12aの切替により吸引装置14が起動し、前記吸入管10を閉じ、前記同様負圧とした後吸入管10aの開閉弁9aを微開し、調整し、吸入管10aから外気を導入して塗布ピグPは吸引装置14に向かって反転して推進し、管内面を再び塗装しながらピグ受止め装置7で停止し、管内面を塗布ピグPを往復移動させて均一に塗装を行う。この時、余剰の塗料は集塵装置13,13aや吸引装置14,14aに至らないように、受止装置7,7aの膨大部6,6aによって受止められ、飛沫化した塗料は集塵装置で集められる。
このようにして塗装が終わると吸引装置14を停止し、開閉弁11を開けて負圧を解除し、管体1内を常圧にした後、塗布ピグPを取出し、余剰塗料を開閉弁16,16aを介して取除いて完了する。

図3は管体に設けられた分岐枝管の塗装について述べる。
管体1には分岐された複数の分岐枝管21(図3では分岐技管21は一本の例を示す)を有し、この配管の管体1,分岐枝管21の夫々には、管端側に管内に塗料を供給する開閉弁2,2a,22を備えたタンク3,3a,23を設け、また夫々の開放端にはピグ挿入口とピグ及び塗料受止めを行う膨大部6,6a,26を設けた受止め装置7,7a,27を設けてある。
また受止め装置7,7a,27は夫々開閉弁9,9a,29を備えた吸入管10,10a,30と加圧調整弁11,11a,31及び開閉弁12,12a,32を夫々に備えたヘッダー8,8a,28を介して集塵装置13,13a,33、吸引装置14,14a,34に接続されている。
前記膨大部6,6a,26にはピグを受止める受止管及びピグ挿入取出口、塗料取除き開閉弁を設けてある。

この構成において、更生対象である分岐枝管21の選択枝管21を塗装するには枝管21に設けた受止め装置27の膨大部26から塗装ピグPを挿入すると共に、枝管21に設けた塗料タンク23の開閉弁22を開いて挿入ピグの前面に対象枝管21の内面を塗装し多少余剰の出る塗料を供給した後、配管の全ての開閉弁を閉じ吸引装置14を起動して管内を負圧にした後、吸入管30から開閉弁29を調整しながら空気を導入し空気は吸引方向に流れ、更にピグ前後に生ずる差圧によりピグPを吸引方向に推進する。また、塗料はピグPに先行して流れ、ピグPにより枝管21の内面を塗装しながら移動し受止め装置7に当って停止する。ピグPが停止すると吸引装置14の開閉弁12と他方挿入側の開閉弁32の切替を行うと共に吸入管30の空気導入を閉じ、吸入装置34の起動により再び管内を負圧とした後、吸入管10から空気を調整しながら導入し空気は吸引方向に流れ、この動作を繰返してピグPを復路の吸引方向に推進し、更生枝管21内を往復させて塗膜を均一に塗装を行い、余剰の生じた塗料は吸引装置に至らないよう受止装置7,27で受止められる。
塗装が終わると吸引装置24を停止し、空気の導入を停め、加圧調整弁31を開けて負圧を解除して管内を常圧にした後ピグPを取出し、余剰塗料を抜取って選択枝管内の塗装は完了する。

また、更に管内の内面仕上げが必要な場合には、前記の一往復塗装で用いた塗布ピグPを取り出し、塗布ピグPよりも軟質の塗布ピグ(例えば塗装ピグPが硬度指標100とすると、70程度のもの)を用いて、前記したと同様の往復塗装操作を繰り返すことで、塗りムラが無く均一な厚さの塗膜が得られ、より完全な塗装が可能となる。

【発明の効果】
本発明の管内面塗装方法は吸引方法であり操作が容易であって管に負担が少なく、管体の両開放端に設置するだけで作業性が良く、更に管体の両端に吸引装置を開閉弁を介して接続し吸引装置の切替動作でピグは管体内を吸引側に向かって移動し、往復するので管体接続部の段差凹所の塗装にも塗り残しが出来ず均一な塗膜の塗装が行われる。更に、管体の塗装距離も管体の両開閉端から塗料を供給し塗布ピグを管体内で往復して塗装するため長い距離や塗装時間の短縮及び乾燥温度管理等、多くの優れた効果を発揮できる。
