  The present invention relates to a growth promoting agent for nasal administration of livestock and a method for raising livestock using the growth promoting agent for nasal administration.

Conventionally, drugs such as antibiotics have been often used for livestock diseases. However, when antibiotics are used continuously, there is a drawback that drug resistance occurs. Even when other drugs are administered, a drug withdrawal period must be provided before shipping, and there is a drawback that preventive treatment cannot be performed during that period. Therefore, in recent years, herbs have been used as therapeutic agents or preventive agents for various diseases (see Patent Document 1). There has also been proposed a method for improving the quality of meat by feeding herbs to livestock (see Patent Document 2).

  As a result of extensive research on other uses of herbs known as therapeutic agents and meat quality improving agents, the present inventors have surprisingly developed significantly by administering a small amount of herbal extract into the nasal cavity of domestic animals. As a result, the present invention was completed.

The growth promoting agent for nasal administration of the present invention is preferably sprayed or instilled as a liquid into the nasal cavity of livestock. Example
Preparation of growth promoting agent for nasal administration 4 parts by weight of the herb powder shown in Table 1 is put in a commercially available nylon bag for removing dashi and the mouth of the bag is tied with a string.
