Description

The present invention relates to a method for producing an integrated foam product such as an armrest with a cup holder and a headrest provided in an automobile seat.

As disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-238568, a conventional armrest has a foaming liquid for pad foam molding from an injection hole opened in one end face of a rectangular skin that is sewn into a bag shape. The pad is integrally foamed with the skin.

As described above, when a foaming liquid for pad foam molding such as urethane foam is injected into the bag-shaped skin, a reactive gas is generated along with the foaming of the foamed liquid, and this reactive gas becomes an air reservoir in the skin. There arises a problem that the pad is not foam-molded into a predetermined shape.

In order to solve such a problem, a foam slab material wadding is adhered to the inside of the skin, and the reactive gas is adsorbed to the wadding.

For this reason, it is necessary to previously provide the wadding for removing the reaction gas inside the outer skin of the conventional product. Therefore, the conventional product requires a processing cost due to the process of adhering the wadding to the skin, and also costs the material for the wadding.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional problems in a foam integrated with a skin.

In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 is an integral skin foaming produced by injecting a foaming liquid for pad molding into a bag-sewed skin and foam-molding the pad integrally with the skin. A method for manufacturing a product,
A gas exhaust hole for exhausting the reaction gas generated from the foaming liquid to the outside is provided in a portion covered with the assembly part in the skin, and the foam is formed in the skin with the gas exhaust hole facing upward. In addition to injecting the liquid, after the foaming of the pad by the foaming liquid, an assembly part is retrofitted to the part .

In the invention according to claim 2, the foam integrated foam is an armrest with a cup holder, and the assembly component is a cup holder.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the reaction gas is discharged from the gas discharge hole to the outside and does not accumulate in the bag-shaped skin. Therefore, a member such as a wadding for removing the reaction gas is not required inside the skin as in the conventional product. Then, since the gas discharge hole is provided in a portion covered by the assembled components, nor detract from the appearance quality of the products.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the discharge hole is covered by assembling the cup holder after the pad is integrally foamed with the skin. Therefore, even if the foaming liquid leaks out together with the reaction gas from the discharge hole, it is covered by the cup holder and is not visually recognized from the outside.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 shows a manufacturing method of an armrest having a cup holder 3 on the upper surface shown in FIG. 2, in which A is an upper mold, B is a lower mold, 1 is an upper and lower mold A, and a skin accommodated in B. The skin 1 is sewn in a bag shape so as to have a through hole in a portion facing the bottom of the cup holder 3, and a conventional wadding is not bonded to the inside. 2 indicates a frame.

C denotes a discharge cylinder, C1 denotes a discharge hole for discharging reaction gas generated by foaming of the foaming liquid P1 to the outside, and D denotes a funnel for injecting the foaming liquid P1 for pad P foam molding into the skin 1.

As shown in FIG. 1, a part of the upper mold A is inserted to the portion where the cup holder 3 shown in FIG. 2 is attached, and the funnel D is inserted into the upper skin 1 accommodated in the upper and lower molds A and B. When the foaming liquid P1 for pad foam molding is injected, the foaming liquid P1 foams in the skin 1.

A reactive gas is generated with the foaming of the foamed liquid P1, and this reactive gas is discharged to the outside through a discharge hole C1 which is a gas discharge hole directed upward as shown in FIG.

The foaming liquid P1 foams in the skin 1 and foams the pad P, and then is removed from the mold, and the cup holder 3 is attached to the portion of the skin 1 corresponding to the discharge hole 1 and the cup holder 3 shown in FIG. The attached armrest is manufactured.

Therefore, since the portion from which the reaction gas is discharged is covered by the cup holder 3, even if the foaming liquid for pad molding leaks to the outside together with the reaction gas, it is not visually recognized by the cover of the cup holder 3.

FIG. 3 shows a method of manufacturing an armrest that does not have the cup holder 3 shown in FIG. It can be attached freely.

Accordingly, since the portion close to the support shaft 2 is joined to the side surface of the seat back, when the armrest is attached between the seat backs, it is not visually recognized from the outside.
FIG. 3 shows a method of manufacturing an armrest in which a reaction gas discharge hole D1 is provided in a portion that is not visible from the outside.

For accommodating the upper and lower molds A and B so that the substantially rectangular skin 1 sewed in a bag shape is accommodated in the upper mold A and lower mold B with the support shaft 2 side at the top. The space is formed in an inclined shape.

Therefore, a foaming liquid P1 for forming the pad P shown in FIG. 4 is injected from the funnel D into the upper and lower molds A and B through the injection hole C1 of the skin 1.

The reaction gas resulting from the foaming of the foaming liquid P1 is discharged to the outside through the exhaust pipe C from the discharge hole D1 provided in the upper mold A.

At that time, since the discharge hole D1 is provided at a high position in the skin 1, the reaction gas is concentrated and discharged to the exhaust hole D1.
Therefore, the reaction gas does not accumulate in the skin 1, and the armrest shown in FIG.

In addition, the skin 1 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is also used in the same manner as the skin 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 without a member such as wadding for removing the reaction gas inside.

In addition, although all drawings make an armrest an example of a skin-integrated foam, the present invention can also be used for a headrest.

It is sectional drawing which shows one Example of this invention. It is sectional drawing of the armrest manufactured by the method shown in FIG. It is sectional drawing which shows the other Example of this invention. It is sectional drawing of the armrest manufactured by the method shown in FIG.
