本発明は、水中電動ポンプや曝気・攪拌装置など、水中回転機械における主軸の電食防止法および装置に関するものである。

【従来技術とその問題点】
従来より、水中電動ポンプなど水中回転機械における主軸の電食防止に関しては、主軸の負荷側導出部に流電陽極を取付け、或いは外部の電源を用いて防食電流を流すという手法が採られている。しかし主軸の負荷側導出部に流電陽極を取付けるという手法では、流電陽極の経時的消耗に伴い回転バランスが崩れて振動が発生し、過大な偏心荷重が主軸に加わって軸破断に至るおそれがあり、且つ流電陽極の寿命予測も困難で、水中回転機械を海水中より引き上げてのメンテナンス、取替え作業を頻繁に実施しなければならないという煩わしさがあった。また、外部電源を用いて防食電流を流すためには、外部電源設備を設置する陸上施設が必要となり、敷地の確保や電源の維持管理、電力エネルギー消費の増大等々クリヤーしなければならない多くの難問題を有しており、更には、水中回転機械の使用現場を次の使用現場へ移動する場合には電源施設全体を移動しなければならず、多大の移動コストが必要となる。

【発明の目的】
本発明の目的は、外部電源設備を必要とせず電力エネルギー消費を増大することなく且つ使用現場の移動にも即応でき、防食効果が半永久的で軸振れの生じる要因がなくメンテナンス性に優れた水中回転機械における回転主軸の電食防止法および装置を提供することにある。

【発明の構成】
本発明に係る水中回転機械における主軸の電食防止法では、水中回転機械に導入された動力電源線の1線を変流器に挿入して取り出された交流電流を整流平滑処理することにより直流電流に変換し、マイナス側を回転主軸の軸回りへ流入させると共にプラス側を不溶性対極へ流入させる。また、本発明に係る水中回転機械における主軸の電食防止装置では、水中回転機械の原動機となるモータの反負荷側ベアリングハウジングの周面および上方をヘッドカバーで蓋装し、上記モータの回路へ導入する動力電源線のヘッドカバー内における1線に挿入する変流器および交流電流を平滑処理する整流用基盤をヘッドカバー内に装着し、ヘッドカバーなどの静止体に支持されて外部で接液する不溶性対極を設け、前記動力電源線の1線より取り出され整流用基盤により平滑処理された直流電流のマイナス側を回転主軸の軸回りへ流入させると共にプラス側を不溶性対極へ流入させるよう構成した。

以下水中電動ポンプを実施対象とした事例について説明をする。

実施例の図面中、1は水中電動ポンプの原動機となるモータ、2はステンレス鋼製の回転主軸であり、その負荷側導出下端部には羽根車(図示せず)が装着されている。3は回転主軸2の反負荷側軸端部を支承する上部ベアリングハウジング、4は上部ベアリングハウジング3の周面および上方を蓋装するヘットカバー、5はモータ1の回路へ導入する動力電源線、6はヘッドカバー4内に装着された整流用基盤、7は変流器であり、該変流器7に動力電5の1線を挿入して取り出された交流電流を上記整流用基盤6により平滑処理する。8は回転主軸2とベアリング外輪9とを電気的に導通させるための導通ワッシャー、10はヘッドカバー4などの静止体に支承されて接液する不溶性対極であり、その材質としては黒鉛やその化合物、磁性酸化物、セラミック化合物、或いは白金や白金を被覆したチタン等が好適である。そして前記整流用基盤により平滑処理された直流電源のマイナス側を回転主軸2の軸回りへ流入させると共にプラス側を不溶性対極へ流入させるよう構成する。

【作用】
動力電源線5の1線を変流器に挿入して取り出された交流電流は整流用基盤6により平滑処理されて直流電流に変換され、マイナス側を回転主軸の軸回りへ流電すると共にプラス側を不溶性対極10へ流電し、防食電流回路が形成されてポンプの運転中および停止中を通じ回転主軸2の防食効果が持続される。なお、回転主軸2と軸受外輪9とを導通ワッシャー8などで導通させる構造としておけば、回転主軸2のみでなく静止体部分にも防食電流による防食効果が及ぶことになる。

本発明によれば、外部電源設備を必要としないため電力エネルギー消費を増大させることがなく且つ使用現場の移動にも即応でき、防食効果が半永久的で軸振れの生じる要因がなくメンテナンス性に優れている。
