Claims (15)
- 2つの極板とセパレータを備えるゼリーロール型電極組立体、缶及びキャップ組立体を含んでなる角形リチウム二次電池に使用されるゼリーロール型電極組立体において、
前記ゼリーロール型電極組立体は、複数の平面部と前記複数の平面部を連結する曲面部とを含んでなり、
2つの極板の4面のうち、少なくとも一つの面にセラミックセパレータが形成され、前記ゼリーロール型電極組立体の2つの極板が対向する部分のうち、前記セラミックセパレータが介在される前記曲面部に別の多孔性隔離膜が介在されていることを特徴とするゼリーロール型電極組立体。 - 前記多孔性隔離膜は、前記ゼリーロール型電極組立体の最内側から少なくとも4枚以上介在されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゼリーロール型電極組立体。
- 前記多孔性隔離膜は前記ゼリーロール型電極組立体の最内側から全体巻取回数の少なくとも40%以上に達するまで介在されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゼリーロール型電極組立体。
- 前記多孔性隔離膜は巻芯最内側から最小曲率半径を有する部分を含んで巻芯方向に極板の末端部を超過して形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゼリーロール型電極組立体。
- 前記多孔性隔離膜は巻芯方向の極板末端部に覆いかぶせる構造を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のゼリーロール型電極組立体。
- 前記多孔性隔離膜はゼリーロールの最外側部に位置した、両極板の末端部間に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のうち、いずれか1つに記載のゼリーロール型電極組立体。
- 2つの極板とセパレータを備えるゼリーロール型電極組立体、缶及びキャップ組立体を含んでなる円筒形リチウム二次電池に使用されるゼリーロール型電極組立体において、
2つの極板の4面のうち、少なくとも一つの面にセラミックセパレータが形成され、前記電極組立体の2つの極板が対向する部分のうち、前記セラミックセパレータが介在され、巻芯最内側から最小曲率半径を有する部分を含んで巻芯方向に極板の末端部を超過して多孔性隔離膜が形成されることを特徴とするゼリーロール型電極組立体。 - 前記多孔性隔離膜は巻芯方向の極板末端部に覆いかぶせる構造を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のゼリーロール型電極組立体。
- 前記多孔性隔離膜はゼリーロールの最外側部に位置した、両極板の末端部間に形成されることを特徴とする請求項7または8に記載のゼリーロール型電極組立体。
- 前記多孔性隔離膜はポリエチレンまたはポリプロピレンで形成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のうち、いずれか1つに記載のゼリーロール型電極組立体。
- 2つの極板とセパレータを備えるゼリーロール型電極組立体、缶及びキャップ組立体を含んでなるリチウムイオン二次電池において、
前記ゼリーロール型電極組立体は、複数の平面部と前記複数の平面部を連結する曲面部とを含んでなり、
2つの極板の4面のうち、少なくとも一つの面にセラミックセパレータが形成され、前記ゼリーロール型電極組立体の2つの極板が対向する部分のうち、前記セラミックセパレータが介在される前記曲面部に別の多孔性隔離膜が介在されていることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記多孔性隔離膜は前記電極組立体の最内側から少なくとも4枚以上介在されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記多孔性隔離膜は巻芯最内側から最小曲率半径を有する部分を含んで巻芯方向に極板の末端部を超過して形成されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記多孔性隔離膜は巻芯方向の極板末端部に覆いかぶせる構造を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記多孔性隔離膜はゼリーロールの最外側部に位置した、両極板の末端部間に形成されることを特徴とする請求項12または13に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
