Description
Claims (16)
- 船舶のバラストタンクの水処理用システムであって、
バラストタンクと、
酸素ストリッピングガスソースと、
外部の水源からバラスト水を受領するバラストポンプと、
ベンチュリインジェクタであって、
i) 前記バラストポンプから前記バラスト水を受領する入口ポートと、
ii) 酸素ストリッピングガスを受領するインジェクタポートと、
iii) 前記バラストタンクへ、酸素ストリッピングガスの多数の微細気泡を含む前記バラスト水を放出する出口ポートと、
を有し、前記インジェクタポートから導入された酸素ストリッピングガスが、前記入口ポートから導入されたバラスト水の中に無数の微細気泡を形成し、当該微細気泡中に前記バラスト水中の溶存酸素が拡散するように構成されているベンチュリインジェクタと、
前記ストリッピングガスソースと前記ベンチュリインジェクタの前記インジェクタポートとを接続するストリッピングガス伝達手段と、
を備えていることを特徴とする船舶のバラストタンクの水処理用システム。 - 前記ストリッピングガスソースと前記バラストタンクとを接続するもう一つのストリッピングガス伝達手段をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の水処理用システム。
- 前記バラストタンクの上部に、バラストタンクの圧力を調整するための圧力バルブが配置されていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の水処理用システム。
- 前記ベンチュリインジェクタが、前記バラストタンクの中の第1の高さ位置に配置されており、
前記ベンチュリインジェクタが、バラストタンクの中の第2の高さ位置に配置されたジェットノズルを備えた移送パイプ手段に接続されており、
前記ベンチュリインジェクタは、前記移送パイプ手段の前記ジェットノズルに対して、より高い位置に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3記載の水処理用システム。 - 移送パイプ手段を更に備えており、
前記ベンチュリインジェクタが、移送パイプ手段に直列で接続され、前記入口ポートが前記移送パイプ手段からバラスト水を受領し、前記出口ポートが前記移送パイプ手段を通じて、前記バラストタンクへ前記バラスト水を放出することを特徴とする請求項1記載の水処理用システム。 - 前記ベンチュリインジェクタのインジェクタポートに供給される前記酸素ストリッピングガスの流量を調整するブースタブロワを更に備えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の水処理用システム。
- 前記ベンチュリインジェクタのインジェクタポートによって受領される前記酸素ストリッピングガスを調整するレギュレータを更に備える請求項1記載の水処理用システム。
- 前記バラストタンク内に取り付けられ、バラスト水中に残存する溶存酸素の量をモニタするセンサを更に備えており、
前記センサが制御パネル手段によって起動されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の水処理用システム。 - 再循環手段を更に備え、再循環パイプ手段が前記バラストタンクから延び、前記バラスト水が前記ベンチュリインジェクタの前記入口ポートによって受領されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の水処理用システム。
- 船舶のバラストタンクのバラスト水を脱酸素化する方法であって、
水を受領する入口ポートと酸素ストリッピングガスを受領するインジェクタポートと前記水を放出する出口ポートとを有するベンチュリインジェクタを利用し、
前記ベンチュリインジェクタの入口ポートに、バラスト水を供給するステップと、
前記酸素ストリッピングガスを前記ベンチュリインジェクタのインジェクタポートに供給するステップと、
前記インジェクタポートから導入された酸素ストリッピングガスと、前記入口ポートから導入されたバラスト水とを接触させて、当該バラスト水中に無数の微細気泡を形成させて、当該微細気泡中に前記バラスト水中の溶存酸素を拡散させるステップと、
前記微細気泡を含む前記バラスト水を前記インジェクタポートの出口ポートから前記バラストタンクに放出して、酸素を含む前記微細気泡を前記バラスト水から放出するステップと、
を備えていることを特徴とする船舶のバラストタンクのバラスト水の脱酸素化方法。 - 前記請求項10のバラスト水の脱酸素化方法が、前記バラスト水中の生物の存在を妨げる目的であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の水の脱酸素化方法。
- 前記請求項10のバラスト水の脱酸素化方法が、腐食を抑制する目的であることを特徴とする請求項10記載のバラスト水の脱酸素化方法。
- 前記生物が、バラストタンクにおいて一般的な生物であることを特徴とする請求項11記載の水の脱酸素化方法。
- 前記バラストタンク内の腐食を抑制する目的で、酸素ストリッピングガスを前記バラストタンクに供給するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項10記載の水の脱酸素化方法。
- 更なる脱酸素化を提供する目的で、前記ベンチュリインジェクタを通じて、前記バラスト水を再循環させるステップを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項10記載の水の脱酸素化方法。
- 前記バラスト水を前記バラストタンクから周囲の水路へ放出する前に、前記水を再酸素化するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項10記載の水の脱酸素化方法。
