この発明は、混練り材料の混練り方法及びその装置に係わり、更に詳しくは薬品を投入して混練する最終混練り機と、加工工程とを直結させた混練り材料の混練り方法及びその装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、混練り材料の混練り方法は、ゴム材料等の混練り材料にカーボン及び薬品を投入して混練りする混練り工程と、この混練り材料を、押出し工程,圧延工程,小物部材の成形工程等の加工工程とは、分離された工程となっていた。

即ち、従来の混練装置の全体構成としては、図3に示すように、ゴム状弾性材料Wにカーボンを入れて混練する混練り工程Aと、この混練りされた材料を(コンパウンド)に、薬品を投入して混練りする最終混練り工程Bと、この薬品が投入されて混練された材料を、シート状に加工してカセット台車Q上にストックするストック工程Cとからなり、そして、このストック工程Cから、押出し工程、圧延工程、小物部材成形工程等の加工工程Dでそれぞれ必要とされる重量のシート状の混練り材料が積層された搬送台を、フォークリフトによって前記したそれぞれの加工工程に運搬していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
然しながら、従来の方法では、混練り工程と加工工程とが分離されたものとなっていたため、以下のような問題があった。
(a).加工工程において必要なコンパウンド量と、混練機において混練りされたコンパウンド量とのバランスが生産上難しく、少量部材加工への供給には、混練り量が過大となる場合があり、ストック時間が増加し、コンパウンドの品質を悪化させる。
(b).混練りしたコンパウンドを停滞させるために、シート状に成形されたコンパウンドの密着防止剤が必要となり、品質を悪化させたり、環境を悪化させる。
(c).設備が大型で、スペースが増大し、設備費用がかかる上、保守点検に多くの手間と時間がかかる。
(d).全体のトレーンが長くなり、突発トラブルによる生産性の低下を来すことがある。

この発明の目的は、薬品を投入して混練した材料の品質を変化させずに次工程の加工工程へ供給することが出来、かつ少人数により多品種の製品を効率良く作業することが出来る混練り材料の混練り方法及びその装置を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明は上記目的を達成するため、この発明の混練り材料の混練方法は、混練り工程(X) でカーボンを投入して混練した混練り材料(Wa)を、コンパウンドストック工程(Y) で一旦ストックしておき、そして各加工工程(D1),(D2),(D3)から要求される重量の混練り材料(Wa)をコンパウンドストック工程(Y) から取り出し、そしてこの取出した混練り材料(Wa) に、最終混練り工程(C) で予め成形されている薬品入りマスターゴム(Wx)を各加工工程(D1),(D2),(D3)から要求される製品に対応して所定量投入し、その後、熱入れ混練りロール(8) により所定時間混練りした後、この薬品入りの混練り材料を直結した前記各加工工程(D1),(D2),(D3)に供給して所定の製品の加工を行うことを要旨とするものである。

(c).押出し工程の必要量に合った混練り材料の生産を行うことが出来、従って混練り材料が余ってリターンする必要がなく、適正配合の混練り作業を行うことが出来る。
(d).混練り材料を加工工程に搬送する手間や時間を省略でき、少人数により多品種の製品を効率の良く作業することが出来る。
(e).最終混練り工程と、加工工程とを直結するので、工程が短縮化されるとともに、設備を小型化することが可能であり、設備費用も大幅に削減することが出来る。
