本発明は、各種のワークの表面を溶剤で払拭作業して洗浄するためのドラフトチャンバに関するものである。

液晶基板等への印刷に用いられるスクリーン等のワークは、繰り返し使用するとインクが詰まるため定期的に溶剤を用い、ワーク表面を溶剤で払拭して洗浄している。

この溶剤によるワークの払拭作業は、クリーンルーム内で手作業で行っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、払拭作業中は、溶剤が拡散し易く、オペレータが、溶剤を嗅いだり、吸い込んでしまいやすい問題がある。

特に、クリーンルーム内では、空調空気が循環されており、溶剤が拡散すると、これがVOC汚染源となる問題がある。

そこで、本発明の目的は、上記課題を解決し、溶剤を用いてワークを払拭作業するにおいて、溶剤の拡散を防止できるドラフトチャンバを提供することにある。

上記目的を達成するために請求項1の発明は、作業台のテーブル面を多孔板で形成すると共にその下方に吸引箱を形成し、上記作業台上の奥側にドラフト部を設け、そのドラフト部の両側から作業台の側面と前面にかけてフードを立設し、ドラフト部の前面に透明シャッタを上下移動自在に設け、上記フード側の作業台上に溶剤で洗浄すべきワークの前部を支持する前部支持部材を設け、作業台上の奧側に上記ワークの後部を支持する後部支持部材を設けると共に、上記ワークを奥側下方に傾斜させて支持すべく前部支持部材を後部支持部材より高く形成したドラフトチャンバである。

以下、本発明の好適一実施の形態を添付図面に基づいて詳述する。

図1〜図4において、10は、溶剤(例えばメチルエチルケトン)でワーク11の払拭作業を行う作業台で、そのテーブル面が多孔板12で形成され、その下面に吸引箱14が形成され、その吸引箱14の四隅に脚15が設けられて構成される。

この作業台10の奥側には、ドラフト部16が起立して設けられる。

ドラフト部16は、作業台10上に形成されたドラフト室17と、ドラフト室17の上部に区画形成され、吸引ファン18とその駆動モータ19を収容する機械室20と、背面部に形成されドラフト室17内を吸引する吸引通路21とから構成される。

このドラフト部16は、その外部が背面パネル22、上部パネル23、側面パネル24、前面パネル25で形成され、背面パネル22に対向して内側背面パネル26が設けられて吸引通路21が形成され、内側背面パネル26と前面パネル25間に仕切り壁27が設けられてドラフト室17と機械室20とに区画される。

この際、溶剤が蒸発しても、その蒸気は、空気より重く、作業台10の側面と前面はフード36で囲まれているため、作業台10から漏れ落ちることなく、多孔板12から吸引箱14を介し吸引通路21に吸引され吸引ファン18より排気ダクト32を介して排気される。また、払拭作業中にドラフト室17に拡散する蒸気は、シャッタ34下端とフード36の上縁で囲まれた開口部44から常時空気が、ドラフト室17に流入するため、開口部44から外部に拡散することがなく、作業者が払拭作業中に溶剤を吸い込むことを確実に防止できる。
