Description
Claims (20)
- 活性化信号に応答して電気外科用出力電力を送出する電気外科用発生器であって、
イネーブル信号に応答して、前記出力電力を生成するように動作する電気外科用電力生成回路と、
前記電力生成回路に接続され、前記電気外科用発生器から前記出力電力を送出する送出経路と、
前記送出経路内に接続されている選択的制御可能の電力流スイッチであって、該電力流スイッチへの電力コマンド信号のアサートに応答して前記送出経路を通じて前記電力生成回路からの前記出力電力を導通させ、前記電力コマンド信号のディアサートに応答して前記送出経路を通じた前記電力生成回路からの前記出力電力の導通を禁止する、選択的制御可能の電力流スイッチと、
前記活性化信号を受け取り、該活性化信号に応答して、前記イネーブル信号を前記電力生成回路に供給し、前記電力流スイッチへの前記電力コマンド信号をアサートするように動作するコントローラであって、更に、前記活性化信号の不在に応答して、前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号を取り消し、前記電力流スイッチへの前記電力コマンド信号をディアサートするように動作する、コントローラと、
前記送出経路内に接続され、前記送出経路を通過する前記電力生成回路からの前記出力電力の流れを検知し、前記送出経路を流れる前記出力電力の存在を検出したときに検知信号をアサートし、前記送出経路を流れる前記出力電力の不在を検知したときに前記検知信号をディアサートするセンサと、
前記電力コマンド信号および前記検知信号を受け取り、前記電力コマンド信号および前記検知信号の同時アサートにおける不一致および前記電力コマンド信号および前記検知信号の同時ディアサートにおける不一致に応答する検出回路であって、該不一致のうちの1つの検出時に、前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号の供給を終了させる、検出回路と、
を備えた、電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項1記載の電気外科用発生器であって、更に、
複数の電力送出経路であって、各々、1つの電力流スイッチと1つのセンサとを含む、複数の電力送出経路を含み、前記電力流スイッチへの前記電力コマンド信号のアサートは、該電力流スイッチが接続された前記送出経路に対し前記電力生成回路を選択的に接続し、
前記検出回路は、各送出経路からの前記電力コマンド信号と前記検知信号とを受け取り、前記送出経路の全てにおける前記電力コマンド信号および前記検知信号のアサートおよびディアサートの前記不一致に応答して、前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号を終了させる、電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項2記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記検出回路は、各送出回路の前記検知信号および前記電力コマンド信号に応答して、送出した前記出力電力が前記選択した送出経路以外の送出経路を流れているか否か判定し、
前記検出回路は、前記出力電力が前記選択した送出経路以外の送出経路を流れていると判定した場合、出力電力の送出を終了させるために前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号を終了させるステップと、
を含む、電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項3記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記検出回路は、前記検知信号に応答して、出力電力が前記複数の送出経路の各々を流れているか否か判定する、電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項4記載の電気外科用発生器において、
各送出経路における前記センサは、送出した前記出力電力によって生ずる前記送出経路における電流を検知する電流センサであり、
前記検出回路は、各送出経路における検知した前記電流に応答して電気外科用エネルギが各送出経路を流れているか否かを判定する、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項2記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記検出回路は、各送出経路の前記検知信号および前記電力コマンド信号に応答して、送出した前記出力電力が前記選択した送出経路を流れているか否か判定し、
前記検出回路は、送出した前記出力電力が前記選択した送出経路を流れていないと判定した場合、出力電力の送出を終了させるために前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号を終了させる、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項6記載の電気外科用発生器において、前記複数の異なる送出経路は、単極電気外科用電力が流れる送出経路と、双極電気外科用電力が流れる送出経路とを含む、電気外科用発生器。
- 請求項6記載の電気外科用発生器において、前記送出経路の1つは出力リレーを含み、該出力リレーは、該出力リレーが閉にされたときに前記電気外科用出力電力によって生ずる電流を導通させ、
前記活性化信号に応答して前記出力リレーを閉にするために、前記出力リレーにリレー閉信号が印加され、
各送出経路における前記センサは、送出した前記出力電力により生じる前記送出経路における電流を検知する電流センサであり、
前記検出回路は、前記出力電力の送出時に前記出力リレーを含む前記送出経路を通過する電流を検知することによって、前記出力リレーが前記リレー閉信号に応答して実際に閉になったか否か判定する、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項8記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記検出回路は、前記リレー閉信号によって、前記出力リレーを含む前記選択した送出経路を電力が流れなかったと判定したときに、出力電力の送出を終了させるために前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号を終了させる、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項9記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記センサは、前記出力電力の送出に応答して、前記複数の送出経路の各々を流れる電流を検知し、
前記検出回路は、前記出力リレーを含む前記選択した送出経路以外の送出経路を電流が流れているか否か判定し、
前記検出回路は、送出した前記出力電力が、前記出力リレーを含む前記選択した送出経路以外の送出経路を流れていると判定したとき、出力電力の送出を終了させるため前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号を終了させる、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項8記載の電気外科用発生器において、前記複数の送出経路の内少なくとも2つは各々出力リレーを含み、該出力リレーは、送出経路の各々と関連する出力リレーの閉の時に前記電気外科用出力電力の送出によって生ずる電流を導通させ、
前記検出回路は、各出力リレーに印加されるリレー閉信号の有無が電流の検知信号との相関を有するか否か判定し、
前記検出回路は、リレー閉信号の有無が、前記送出経路を流れる電流の有無を示す電流の検知信号との相関を有さないと判定したとき、出力電力の送出を終了させるため前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号を終了させる、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項2記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記検出回路は、出力電力が流れている前記送出経路が前記選択した1つの送出経路との相関を有するか否か判定し、
前記検出回路は、出力電力が流れていない各送出経路が、出力電力の送出を命令されていない送出経路との相関を有するか否か判定し、
前記検出回路は、送出された前記出力電力が前記選択された送出経路を流れていないと判定したとき、前記出力電力の送出を終了させるため前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号を終了させ、
前記検出回路は、送出された前記出力電力が、前記選択された1つの送出経路以外の送出経路を流れていると判定したとき、前記出力電力の送出を終了させるため前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号を終了させる、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項12記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記活性化信号に応答して、前記出力電力の送出を命令すべき前記1つの送出経路を選択するステップを含む、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項13記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記電気外科用発生器は、第1および第2プロセッサを含み、
前記第1プロセッサは、前記活性化信号に応答して、前記1つの送出経路を選択し、前記選択した1つの経路を通じた前記出力電力の送出を命令する手順を実行し、
前記第2プロセッサは、前記選択した1つの送出経路を通じた前記出力電力の送出コマンドに応答して、および前記複数の送出経路の各々において検知した電流に応答して、前記命令された送出経路における出力電力の流れと、前記選択した1つの送出経路以外の各送出経路における出力電力の流れの不在との相関を判定する手順を実行する、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項14記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記第1プロセッサと前記第2プロセッサとは動作的に互いに相互接続されており、
前記第1プロセッサは前記コントローラを含み、
前記第2プロセッサは前記検出回路を含む、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項15記載の電気外科用発生器であって、更に、
前記第1および第2プロセッサとは別個の第3プロセッサを備えており、
前記第3プロセッサは前記第1および第2プロセッサに動作的に接続されており、
前記第3プロセッサは、前記電気外科用電力生成回路に接続され、該電気外科用電力生成回路を制御する、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項14記載の電気外科用発生器において、
1つの送出経路における前記電力流スイッチは出力リレーを含み、
前記出力リレーを含む前記電力流スイッチへの前記電力コマンド信号は、リレー閉信号を含む、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項17記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記出力リレーを含む前記1つの送出経路における前記センサは、前記出力電力の送出に応答して、前記1つの第1送出経路を流れる電流を検知する電流センサを含む、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項17記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記電力生成回路は、単極出力電力および双極出力電力を生成し、
前記単極出力電力は、前記出力リレーを含む前記送出経路を通じて送出される、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項19記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記双極出力電力は、前記出力リレーを含む前記送出経路とは異なる双極送出経路を通じて送出され、
前記電気外科用電力生成回路は、出力部を含み、
前記双極送出経路内に接続されている前記電力流スイッチは、前記出力部内に含まれる、
電気外科用発生器。
