本発明は、制御装置、制御方法、プログラムおよび遠隔操作システムに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、テレビやビデオレコーダなど複数種類のＡＶ機器を用いてコンテンツを鑑賞する際には、機器毎に用意されているリモコン装置を使用して操作を行っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このため、ビデオカメラ、ＤＶＤプレーヤ、ＢＳチューナー、パーソナルコンピュータなど多くの機器を用いてコンテンツを鑑賞する際には、機器毎にリモコン装置を使い分けなくてはならず、使用者にとって大きな負担となっている。
本発明は、このような実状に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、様々なコンテンツを鑑賞する際に、使用者に負担を与えることがなく、使い勝手にすぐれた制御装置、制御方法、プログラムおよび遠隔操作システムを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の第１の側面の制御装置は、コンテンツを再生する再生装置を遠隔操作する制御装置であって、前記再生装置により再生可能な記録済みのコンテンツを閲覧する際に表示される表示画面を表示する第１表示手段と、操作に応じた操作情報を生成する第１操作手段と、前記再生装置との間で情報を双方向に通信する第１通信手段と、前記再生装置から、前記表示画面を表示させるための第１表示用情報を前記第１通信手段によって受信させ、受信させた前記第１表示用情報に対応する前記表示画面を前記第１表示手段に表示させるとともに、前記操作情報を前記第１通信手段によって前記再生装置に送信させる第１制御手段とを備え、前記第１操作手段は、前記第１表示手段に設けられているタッチパネルであり、前記第１表示手段は、ユーザにより前記タッチパネルとして操作される操作ボタンであって、前記コンテンツを再生する際に操作される前記操作ボタンを少なくとも含む前記表示画面を表示する制御装置である。
前記第１表示手段には、前記再生装置に接続されている記録媒体に記録済みの前記コンテンツであって、前記再生装置により再生可能な前記コンテンツを閲覧する際に表示される前記表示画面を表示するようにすることができる。
前記第１表示手段には、前記操作ボタンとして、前記再生装置により再生可能な複数の前記コンテンツのうちのいずれかを選択するための選択ボタン、前記コンテンツの詳細を表示させるための詳細表示ボタン、１つ前の表示画面に戻るための戻るボタン、前記コンテンツの再生を行なうための再生ボタン、前記コンテンツの巻き戻しを行なうための巻き戻しボタン、前記コンテンツの早送りを行なうための早送りボタン、または前記コンテンツの再生を停止するための停止ボタンの少なくとも１つを含む前記表示画面を表示するようにすることができる。
前記操作ボタンを表示させるための第２表示用情報を予め記憶している第１記憶手段をさらに設けることができ、前記第１制御手段には、受信させた前記第１表示用情報とともに、前記第１記憶手段に記憶されている前記第２表示用情報に基づいて、前記操作ボタンを含む前記表示画面を前記第１表示手段に表示させるようにすることができる。
前記第１表示手段には、前記コンテンツに関連する関連情報を含む前記表示画面を表示するようにすることができる。
前記第１表示手段には、前記関連情報として、前記コンテンツのタイトル、前記コンテンツを再生してから経過した再生経過時間、または前記コンテンツの再生における進行の度合いを表す進行情報の少なくとも１つを含む前記表示画面を表示するようにすることができる。
前記第１表示手段には、静止画情報、動画情報、文字、図形または記号の少なくとも１つを含む前記表示画面を表示するようにすることができる。
前記第１通信手段には、前記第１通信手段と双方向に通信を行うとともに、前記再生装置と双方向に通信を行うサーバを介して、前記再生装置との間で情報を双方向に通信するようにすることができる。
前記再生装置は前記操作情報に基づいて動作するように構成されているようにすることができる。
前記再生装置は、複数の記録媒体がそれぞれ記録している複数のコンテンツから所定のコンテンツを選択して再生するように構成され、前記所定のコンテンツの選択は前記操作情報に基づいて行なわれるように構成されているようにすることができる。

前記第１表示手段には、前記コンテンツに関連する関連情報を含む前記表示画面を表示するようにすることができる。
前記第１表示手段には、前記関連情報として、前記コンテンツのタイトル、前記コンテンツを再生してから経過した再生経過時間、または前記コンテンツの再生における進行の度合いを表す進行情報の少なくとも１つを含む前記表示画面を表示するようにすることができる。
前記第１表示手段には、静止画情報、動画情報、文字、図形または記号の少なくとも１つを含む前記表示画面を表示するようにすることができる。
前記第１通信手段と双方向に通信を行うとともに、前記第２通信手段と双方向に通信を行う中継手段が設けられ、前記第１通信手段と前記第２通信手段との間の通信は前記中継手段を介して行なわれるようにすることができる。
前記再生装置は、前記第２制御手段からの制御にしたがって、前記再生装置に接続されている複数の記録媒体がそれぞれ記録している複数のコンテンツから所定のコンテンツを選択する選択手段をさらに設けることができ、前記再生手段には、選択された前記所定のコンテンツを再生させるようにすることができる。
前記再生手段は、選択された前記所定のコンテンツに対応する音声を出力する音声出力手段と、選択された前記所定のコンテンツに対応する画像を表示する第２表示手段とを有するようにすることができる。
前記第１表示手段には、前記再生装置の機能を列挙したメニューリストも表示するようにすることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明のリモコン装置および映像表示装置並びにリモコンシステムの実施の形態について説明する。
図１は本実施の形態のリモコンシステムの構成を示すブロック図である。
リモコンシステム１００は、リモコン装置１０と、このリモコン装置１０によって遠隔操作される映像表示装置２０とを備えて構成されている。
前記リモコン装置１０は、第１通信手段１００２、第１操作手段１００４、第１表示手段１００６、第１記憶手段１００８、第１制御手段１０１０、電源を構成する不図示のバッテリーなどを備えて構成されている。
前記第１通信手段１００２は、映像表示装置２０の第２通信手段２００２と双方向で無線通信を行うように構成されており、本例では無線通信として赤外線通信を用いるものとして説明する。
この第１通信手段１００２は、前記映像表示装置２０の第２通信手段２００２にから送信される後述するリモコン表示用情報を受信するように構成されている。

前記第１操作手段１００４は、前記映像表示装置２０を遠隔制御するための操作を行うものであり、操作に応じて操作情報を生成して前記第１制御手段１０１０に入力するように構成されている。前記第１操作手段１００４の具体的な構成については後述する。
前記第１表示手段１００６は、例えば液晶表示器から構成され前記リモコン表示用情報を表示するように構成されている。前記リモコン表示用情報は、前記第１操作手段１００４を操作するために使用されるものである。なお、前記第１表示手段１００６の具体的な構成については後述する。
前記第１記憶手段１００８は、前記第１制御手段１０１０が実行するプログラムを格納するＲＯＭ領域、予め前記リモコン表示用情報の一部である第２リモコン表示用情報を格納するＲＯＭ領域、第１制御手段１０１０によって書き替え可能なＲＡＭ領域を備えて構成されている。
前記第１制御手段１０１０は、ＣＰＵから構成され前記第１記憶手段１００８に格納されている動作プログラムを実行することによって動作するように構成されており、前記第１通信手段１００２、第１操作手段１００４、第１表示手段１００６、第１記憶手段１００８の制御を司るものである。

図２に示すように、リモコン装置１０は、前後方向の長さと、長さよりも短い左右方向の幅と、幅よりも短い上下方向の厚さを有する矩形板状のケース１０１２を有して構成されている。
前記ケース１０１２の厚さ方向の一方の面である上面には、前方寄りの箇所に前記第１表示手段１００６の表示面１０１４が外方に面して設けられている。第１表示手段１００６は、前記表示面１０１４に文字、図形、記号、静止画情報、動画情報を表示可能に構成されている。
そして、前記表示面１０１４を覆うように、表示面１０１４の外形形状と同じ形状を有するタッチパネル１０１５が表示面１０１４上に重ね合わせて設けられている。前記タッチパネル１０１５は、表示面１０１４の表示内容が透視可能に構成され、指やタッチペンで接触することによって動作するように構成されている。

表示面１０１４の後方箇所には第１操作ボタン１０１６、操作レバー１０１８、第２操作ボタン１０２０が幅方向に直線状に配列して設けられている。
図２に示すように、表示面１０１４の後方寄りの箇所には、これら第１操作ボタン１０１６、操作レバー１０１８、第２操作ボタン１０２０の位置に対応した位置に操作用ボタン（ｄ１、ｄ２、ｄ３）が前記リモコン表示用情報の一部として表示されるようになっている。これら操作用ボタンの数、形状、表示内容はリモコン表示用情報に応じて変更されるようになっている。
前記第１、第２操作ボタン１０１６、１０２０は押圧操作により動作するように構成されている。前記操作レバー１０１８は、幅方向に延在する軸線回りに揺動可能に設けられ、常時中立位置に付勢されており、該操作レバー１０１８を前方および後方に傾動させることで動作するように構成されている。
また、第１操作ボタン１０１６、操作レバー１０１８、第２操作ボタン１０２０の後方には、音量調整用ボタン１０２２と、決定ボタン１０２４と、チャンネル選択用ボタン１０２４とが幅方向に間隔をおいて設けられている。これら各ボタンは押圧操作によって動作するように構成されている。
前記タッチパネル１０１５、第１操作ボタン１０１６、操作レバー１０１８、第２操作ボタン１０２０、音量調整用ボタン１０２２、決定ボタン１０２４、チャンネル選択用ボタン１０２４によって前記第１操作手段１００４が構成されている。
また、ケース１０１２の前端面の箇所には、前記第１通信手段１００２を構成する図略の赤外線受発光部が設けられており、この赤外線受発光部から赤外線信号が送信（発光）されるとともに、赤外線受発光部によって赤外線信号が受信（受光）されるように構成されている。

図１に示すように、前記映像表示装置２０は、前記第２通信手段２００２、第２操作手段２００４、第２表示手段２００６、第２記憶手段２００８、第２制御手段２０１０、外部入出力制御手段２０１２、音声出力手段２０１４を備えて構成されている。
前記第２通信手段２００２は、前記第１通信手段１００２と双方向で無線通信を行うように構成されており、本例では無線通信として赤外線通信を用いるものとして説明する。
前記第２通信手段２００２は、前記リモコン表示用情報の一部を構成する第１リモコン表示用情報を前記第１通信手段１００２に送信するように構成されている。
前記第２操作手段２００４は、前記映像表示装置２０を直接操作するためのものであり、操作に応じて操作情報を生成して前記第２制御手段２０１０に入力するように構成されている。
前記第２表示手段２００６は、例えばＣＲＴ、液晶表示器、あるいはプラズマディスプレイから構成され、静止画情報や動画情報を表示するように構成されている。
前記第２記憶手段２００８は、前記第２制御手段２０１０が実行するプログラムを格納するＲＯＭ領域、そのた必要な情報を格納するＲＯＭ領域、第２制御手段２０１０によって書き替え可能なＲＡＭ領域を備えて構成されている。

前記外部入出力制御手段２０１２は、外部装置との間で信号の入出力のインターフェースをとるとともに、入力される信号（コンテンツ）を選択するものである。外部入出力制御手段２０１２に接続される外部装置としては、例えば、種々のＡＶ機器、すなわちテレビチューナ、ビデオレコーダ、ビデオカメラ、ラジオ、パーソナルコンピュータなどである。
したがって、外部入出力制御手段２０１２には、テレビ放送の映像信号や音声信号、ビデオレコーダやビデオカメラからの映像信号や音声信号、ラジオからの音声信号が入力される。
また、外部入出力制御手段２０１２はパーソナルコンピュータとの間でデータ信号、制御信号の送受信を行う機能も有する。
また、前記外部入出力制御手段２０１２をＬＡＮなどのネットワークを介してインターネットに接続してもよい。この場合には、外部入出力制御手段２０１２が通信機能を有する端末装置として構成されている必要がある。
外部入出力制御手段２０１２は、前記第２制御手段２０１０の制御によってこれらの信号を選択して前記第２表示手段２００６および音声出力手段２０１４に入力し、あるいは必要な信号を出力するように構成されている。

前記音声出力手段２０１４は、図略のスピーカやアンプなどから構成され、入力される音声信号を発声して出力するように構成されている。
前記第２制御手段２０１０は、ＣＰＵから構成され前記第２記憶手段２００８に格納されている動作プログラムを実行することによって動作するように構成されており、前記第２通信手段２００２、第２操作手段２００４、第２表示手段２００６、第２記憶手段２００８、外部入出力制御手段２０１２、音声出力手段２０１４の制御を司るものである。また、前記リモコン装置１０に送信するための前記リモコン表示用情報の生成を行うものである。

図３はリモコンシステム１００の使用状態を示す説明図である。
図３に示すように、前記映像表示装置２０から離れた位置にいる使用者Ｐは、リモコン装置１０の操作手段１００４を操作することにより前記第１通信手段１０２と映像表示装置２０の第２通信手段２００２との間で双方向の通信を行って映像表示装置２０を遠隔制御する。
また、映像表示装置２０の近傍に充電装置１０２８が置かれており、この充電装置１０２８にリモコン装置１０を装着することで前記バッテリーの充電が行なわれるように構成されている。

次に、前記リモコンシステム１００を用いて映像表示装置２０を遠隔操作する動作について図６のフローチャートを参照して説明する。
まず、リモコン装置１０と映像表示装置２０が待機状態にあるものとする。
図４（Ａ）に示すように、待機状態では、リモコン装置１０は待機画面を表示している（ステップＳ１０）。
すなわち、表示面１０１４には、年月日を示す文字情報、現在時刻を長針と短針の組み合わせで示す画像情報を表示するとともに、リモコン装置１０を操作するためのリモコン表示用情報として、メニュー表示を求めるメニューボタンＤ１、テレビ画像表示を求めるテレビボタンＤ２を表示している。
前記メニューボタンＤ１、テレビボタンＤ２は前記第１記憶手段１００８に格納されている第２リモコン表示用情報であって、第１操作手段１００４を操作するために使用する情報である。

ここで、使用者ＰがメニューボタンＤ１に対応する第１操作ボタン１０１６を操作することによって待機状態を終了してメインメニューを表示する（ステップＳ１２）。
すなわち、図４（Ｂ）に示すように、前記映像表示装置２０で表示されるコンテンツおよび映像表示装置２０の機能を列挙したメニューリストＤ３、表示内容を１つ前の表示に戻すための戻るボタンＤ４、メニューＤ３を選択するための選択ボタンＤ５が表示面１０１４に表示される。
前記メニューボタンＤ３、戻るボタンＤ４、選択ボタンＤ５は、予め前記第１記憶手段１００８に格納されている第２リモコン表示用情報であって、第１操作手段１００４を操作するために使用する情報である。

そして、使用者Ｐは選択ボタンＤ５に対応する操作レバー１０１８を前後に傾動させることでメニューＤ３に表示されるカーソルを所望の機能の位置に移動させ、その状態で前記決定ボタン１０２４を操作することで選択した機能を決定することで、下位メニューが表示される（ステップＳ１４）。
地上波テレビまたはＢＳテレビが選択決定されると、図４（Ｃ）、（Ｄ）に示すようにテレビ局名（チャンネル）Ｄ６、Ｄ７、番組表ボタンＤ８を示す画面（機能画面）が表示面１０１４に表示される（ステップＳ１６）。
前記各地上波テレビ局名（チャンネル）Ｄ６、各ＢＳテレビ局名（チャンネル）Ｄ７、番組表ボタンＤ８は、予め前記第１記憶手段１００８に格納されている第２リモコン表示用情報であって、第１操作手段１００４を操作するために使用する情報である。

ここで、番組表ボタンＤ８に対応する第２操作ボタン１０２０を操作して機能を選択決定すると、図５（Ａ）に示すように、戻るボタンＤ４、番組表Ｄ９、録画／予約ボタンＤ１０、他局の番組表を要求するための他局ボタンＤ１１が表示される。
すなわち、リモコン装置１０の第１制御手段１０１０は、番組表Ｄ９を要求する操作情報を第１通信手段１００２を介して映像表示装置２０に送信する（ステップＳ１８）。
前記操作情報を第２通信手段２００２が受信すると、映像表示装置２０の第２制御手段２０１０は、外部入出力制御手段２０１２がテレビ局から受信したＥＰＧから前記番組表Ｄ９を生成し、この番組表Ｄ９を第１リモコン表示用情報として第２通信手段２００２を介して第１通信手段１００２に送信する。これにより、第１通信手段１００２は、前記番組表Ｄ９を受信する（ステップＳ２０）。

第１制御手段１０１０は、第１通信手段１００２で受信した番組表Ｄ９とともに、戻るボタンＤ４、録画／予約ボタンＤ１０、他局ボタンＤ１１を第１表示手段１００６の表示面１０１４に表示させ、機能画面を表示させる（ステップＳ２２）。
したがって、第１表示手段１００６には、第１リモコン表示用情報としての前記番組表Ｄ９と、第１記憶手段１００８に予め記憶されている第２リモコン表示用情報としての戻るボタンＤ４、録画／予約ボタンＤ１０、他局ボタンＤ１１とが表示されることになる。

ここで、録画／予約ボタンＤ１０を操作すると、図５（Ｂ）に示すように、チャンネル、番組名、録画開始年月日と時刻、録画先などを選択入力するために予約画面が表示される（ステップＳ２４）。また、戻るボタンＤ４、決定ボタンＤ１２、他局ボタンＤ１１も表示される。
予約画面では、チャンネル、番組名、録画開始年月日と時刻、録画先を前記第１操作手段１００４を用いて設定するようになっている。この設定は、前記番組表の情報を用いて、前記選択レバー１０１８や決定ボタン１０２４を操作することによって行なわれる。
これにより、第１操作手段１００４で生成された操作情報が映像表示装置２０に送信され、第２制御手段２０１０は、受信した操作情報に基づいてチューナーやビデオレコーダの予約録画設定を行う（ステップＳ２６）。
以上で予約録画設定の操作を終了する。
