Description
Claims (11)
- 流体制御装置であって、
内部面によって画定されるチャンバを有し、かつ端壁を備えるハウジングと、
前記チャンバを通って流れる流体を制御するために、前記チャンバに配置された弁アセンブリと、
前記チャンバを囲むために前記端壁とは反対側に前記ハウジングに配置された端部キャップとを備え、前記端壁および前記端部キャップそれぞれが、前記チャンバに流体を通すためまたは前記チャンバから流体を取り除くための開口部を有し、前記ハウジングおよび前記端部キャップそれぞれが、他方の当接面を受ける当接面を有し、前記当接面の少なくとも1つが、プラスチックシールコーティングを有し、前記流体制御装置がさらに、
前記当接面間の前記プラスチックシールコーティングを変形させて前記チャンバを封止するように、前記端部キャップと係合する圧縮手段を備える、流体制御装置。 - 前記ハウジングの当接面が、前記ハウジングの端部に配置される、請求項1に記載の流体制御装置。
- 前記ハウジングの端部が、前記端部キャップが受けられる凹部を有して形成され、前記ハウジングの当接面が、前記凹部内に環状面を備える、請求項2に記載の流体制御装置。
- 前記端部キャップの当接面が、前記環状面と協働し、前記プラスチックシールコーティングへの圧縮力を局部限定する環状リッジを含む、請求項3に記載の流体制御装置。
- 前記弁アセンブリが、前記端部キャップと前記チャンバの端壁との間で前記チャンバ内に配置された、球座および球を有する球逆止弁を備え、前記球座が、前記端壁における前記開口部と前記端部キャップとの間に流体連通を提供するために開口部を有し、前記球座が、前記チャンバを通る流体の流れを制御するために前記球と係合する球受面と、前記端部キャップの前記当接面と協働する当接面とを有する、請求項1に記載の流体制御装置。
- 前記球座の当接面と協働する前記端部キャップの前記当接面が、環状リッジを備える、請求項5に記載の流体制御装置。
- 流体を通すための前記端壁における前記開口部が、前記ハウジングを通って延びる、請求項5に記載の流体制御装置。
- 前記端部キャップが、前記ハウジングの第1の端部に配置され、前記ハウジングが、前記第1の端部とは反対側に第2の端部を有し、前記ハウジングの第2の端部が、前記流体制御装置が配置される機器の隣接壁と協働するように構成され、前記ハウジングの第2の端部および前記隣接壁の少なくとも一方が、プラスチックシールコーティングを有する、請求項1に記載の流体制御装置。
- 前記端部キャップが、前記ハウジングの当接面を受ける前記当接面に対して遠隔のさらなる当接面を有し、該さらなる当接面が、前記圧縮手段の面と協働するように構成され、前記さらなる当接面および前記圧縮手段の面の少なくとも一方が、プラスチックシールコーティングを有する、請求項1に記載の流体制御装置。
- 前記圧縮手段が、前記ハウジングおよび前記端部キャップが受けられる圧縮チャンバを有する圧縮ハウジングを備え、前記圧縮手段が、前記ハウジングと前記端部キャップとの間に圧縮を生じるために前記圧縮ハウジングと協働する圧縮スリーブを備える、請求項1に記載の流体制御装置。
- 前記プラスチックシールコーティングが、ポリトリフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン(PCTFE)、過フルオロアルコキシ(PFA)、およびフッ化エチレンプロピレン(FEP)の1つを含む高分子コーティングを備える、請求項1に記載の流体制御装置。
