Description
Claims (14)
- u(Al2O3・TiO2)+v(R)+w(3Al2O3・2SiO2)+x(Al2O3)+y(SiO2)+z(1.1SrO・1.5Al2O3・13.6SiO2・TiO2)+a(Fe2O3・TiO2)+b(MgO・2TiO2)を有してなる組成であって、RがSrO・Al2O3・2SiO2または11.2SrO・10.9Al2O3・24.1SiO2・TiO2であり、u,v,w,x,y,z,aおよびbが、u+v+w+x+y+z+a+b=1、0.5<u≦0.95、0.01<v≦0.5、0.01<w<0.3、0≦x≦0.5、0≦y≦0.1、0≦z≦0.5、0≦a≦0.3、および0≦b≦0.3となるような各成分の重量分画である組成を有するセラミック製品。
- RがSrO・Al2O3・2SiO2であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のセラミック製品。
- Rが11.2SrO・10.9Al2O3・24.1SiO2・TiO2であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のセラミック製品。
- 請求項1記載のセラミック製品からなり、前面の入口端から出口端に延在する、端部が閉塞された複数の平行なセル通路を有する閉塞型ウォール・フロー式ハニカムフィルタ本体を有してなるディーゼル微粒子フィルタ。
- 室温から800℃〜1000℃で測定された、15×10-7/℃未満のCTEを有することを特徴とする請求項4記載のディーゼル微粒子フィルタ。
- 30体積%から50体積%の気孔率を有することを特徴とする請求項4記載のディーゼル微粒子フィルタ。
- 5から25マイクロメートルのメジアン孔径を有することを特徴とする請求項4記載のディーゼル微粒子フィルタ。
- 200cpsi(約32セル/cm2)のセル密度、0.016インチ(約0.4mm)の壁厚を有するセルラ・バーについて測定した、150から400psi(約1.1〜2.8MPa)の破壊係数を有することを特徴とする請求項4記載のディーゼル微粒子フィルタ。
- 少なくとも0.20×10-12m2の透過度を有することを特徴とする請求項4記載のディーゼル微粒子フィルタ。
- 273cpsi(約43セル/cm2)のセル密度および0.015インチ(約0.38mm)のセル壁厚について、210scfm(約5.67m3/分)の流量および5g/Lまでの人工炭素煤の負荷量で、5kPa以下の圧力降下を有することを特徴とする請求項4記載のディーゼル微粒子フィルタ。
- チタン酸アルミニウムベースのセラミック体を製造する方法において、
(a) シリカ、アルミナ、ストロンチウム、チタニア、および/または酸化鉄の供給源を有してなる無機原材料のバッチを、可塑剤、滑剤、結合剤および溶媒としての水を有してなる有機加工助剤と一緒に配合し、混合して、均質な可塑化混合物を形成し、
(b) 前記可塑化混合物を未焼成体に成形し、
(c) 30〜50時間の期間の保持時間と、1100℃〜1650℃の保持温度で、様々な温度間隔に亘り20〜40℃/時の比率で前記未焼成体を加熱して、u(Al2O3・TiO2)+v(R)+w(3Al2O3・2SiO2)+x(Al2O3)+y(SiO2)+z(1.1SrO・1.5Al2O3・13.6SiO2・TiO2)+a(Fe2O3・TiO2)+b(MgO・2TiO2)を有してなる組成であって、RがSrO・Al2O3・2SiO2または11.2SrO・10.9Al2O3・24.1SiO2・TiO2であり、u,v,w,x,y,z,aおよびbが、u+v+w+x+y+z+a+b=1、0.5<u≦0.95、0.01<v≦0.5、0.01<w<0.3、0≦x≦0.5、0≦y≦0.1、0≦z≦0.5、0≦a≦0.3、および0≦b≦0.3となるような各成分の重量分画である組成を有するセラミック体を形成する、
各工程を有してなる方法。 - 前記加熱工程を1100℃〜1500℃の保持温度で行うことを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記成形工程を押出しにより行うことを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記可塑化混合物をハニカム未焼成体に押し出すことを特徴とする請求項13記載の方法。
