Description

The present invention relates to an electric wire connector, and more particularly, to an electric wire connector using a metal straight sleeve.

As is well known, in overhead line construction such as transmission and distribution lines, when connecting ends of power transmission lines, a metal straight sleeve 1 as shown in FIG. 1 is used. That is, the straight sleeve 1 is made of a light good conductor such as aluminum or copper, and has a hollow formed therein with wire insertion holes 2 and 3 for receiving connection ends 6 and 7 of the wires to be connected. Made as a member. That is, in order to connect the connection end portions 6 and 7 of the electric wire using the linear sleeve 1, the electric wire insertion holes 2 and 3 are inserted in order to prevent moisture intrusion and corrosion, and to improve electrical and mechanical properties. After filling the compound and inserting the connecting end portions 6 and 7 of the electric wires into these electric wire insertion holes 2 and 3, a plurality of locations indicated in the outer peripheral longitudinal direction of the linear sleeve 1 from the end portions toward the center. The two electric wires are connected by mechanically compressing and deforming them sequentially with a die in accordance with the compression indication mark (C) and integrating the connecting ends 6 and 7 of the electric wires with the linear sleeve 1.

Further, since the linear sleeve 1 as described above corresponds to various electric wires, as shown schematically in FIG. 2, the linear sleeve 1 is a relatively wide printed product name, electric wire size, abbreviation, number of compressions, compression direction, company name, etc. A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet (S) made of transparent plastic (for example, a sheet made of polypropylene, vinyl chloride or the like) is pasted in the outer peripheral direction of the central portion.

Patent documents related to the technology of the present invention include, for example, the following.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-172622

By the way, in the compression process using a die, the excess compound pre-filled in the straight sleeve is vigorously moved from the compound hole formed in the central portion in the lengthwise direction of the straight sleeve when the electric wire is inserted or during the compression work. Although it will be pushed out to the outside, the worker's work clothes are often soiled by the compound ejected from the compound hole. In other words, connection work for transmission and distribution lines using straight sleeves is usually performed at high places such as steel towers and utility poles and in unstable work places, so the work space and work posture of workers are restricted. Therefore, it is difficult for the worker to avoid the compound pushed out from the compound loophole vigorously and is exposed to the compound scattered around from the compound loophole. Of course, the compound that scatters from the compound hole will contaminate not only the work clothes of the worker but also other tools and the like, and the cleaning work after the work becomes troublesome.

In order to eliminate such inconvenience, the conventional compression connection method has adopted the following measures. (See Patent Document 1: JP-A-10-172622)
1) A linear sleeve formed with a wire insertion hole for receiving a connection end of a wire to be connected and having a small compound through hole communicating with the inside of the wire insertion hole on the peripheral surface, and a flexible sheet A compound recovery bag is attached that can be fixed to the peripheral surface of the linear sleeve in a state of being formed in a shape and surrounding the compound hole.
2) The compound recovery bag has a structure including a pair of opening flaps that can be temporarily fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the linear sleeve with an adhesive paste applied to the inner surface.

However, when the compression operation approaches the center of the linear sleeve (1: FIG. 1), the die compresses on the adhesive sheet (S), and the compound compressed inside the linear sleeve (1) becomes the compound hole ( 4 and 5), the adhesive sheet (S) is broken and is not collected in the compound collection bag, but is pushed back to the compression die side through the adhesive surface of the adhesive sheet (S), and the outer circumference of the linear sleeve As a result, the collection bag becomes larger than necessary, resulting in inconvenience.

The object of the present invention was made in view of the current state of wire connection work using a straight sleeve as described above, and the adhesive sheet affixed to the straight sleeve reliably breaks in the vicinity of the compound through hole, By allowing the compound to be accommodated in the collection bag from the location, a compact compound collection bag is sufficient, and the work clothes and the like of the worker are soiled by the compound ejected from the compound hole in the compression deformation process of the linear sleeve. There is no electric wire connector.

(2) In the wire connector of (1),
The means for providing an incision portion at a predetermined location including the compound hole in the adhesive sheet is provided by cutting the adhesive sheet with a cutter or other incision jig after the adhesive sheet is firmly attached to the linear sleeve.
In the first embodiment of the present invention to be described later, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet (S) has a structure in which a cut is provided in the longitudinal direction connecting the compound through holes formed in the longitudinal center portion of the linear sleeve 1. Prepare and explain about it.

(3) In the wire connector of (1),
The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet fixed to the straight sleeve is provided with an independent incision for each compound through hole at a circumferential position covering the compound through hole (a position directly above the compound through hole).
(4) In the wire connector of (1),
The adhesive sheet fixed to the straight sleeve is provided with independent perforations or a large number of small holes at or near the position covering the compound through hole (directly above or near the compound through hole).
In the description of the second and third embodiments of the present invention, which will be described later, the adhesive sheet (S) has a structure in which a cut is provided directly above or near the compound through hole, and a compound through hole. A structure in which perforations that can be easily broken by the extrusion pressure of the compound are formed in the vertical and horizontal directions in the vicinity will be described.

As is clear from the above description, according to the electric wire connector of the present invention, a cut or perforation line that can be easily broken by the extrusion pressure of the compound is formed on the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet (S) attached in the vicinity of the compound through hole of the straight sleeve. As a result, the adhesive sheet (S) is surely easily broken in the vicinity of the compound hole, so that the worker's work clothes and the like are not contaminated by the compound scattered by the combination with the compact compound collection bag. Can carry out the work. Further, since there is no possibility of scattering outside the compound filled in the linear sleeve, there is also an effect of preventing environmental pollution.

Details of the embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS.
1 to 6 show a wire connector according to a first embodiment of the present invention. That is, the linear sleeve 1 is formed into a pair of electric wire insertion holes 2 and 3 that are opened toward both ends and partitioned by a partition wall 10 at the center, and are formed into hollow rods formed inside. Inside the wire insertion holes 2 and 3, small compound holes 4 and 5 are formed at positions closest to the partition wall 10 and communicated to the outside via these compound holes 4 and 5.
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 1, the connection end portions 6 and 7 of the electric wires to be connected are respectively inserted into the electric wire insertion holes 2 and 3, and the peripheral wall of the straight sleeve 1 starts from the portions near both ends. By compressing and deforming with a die, both electric wires are connected via the straight sleeve 1.

In the case of the first embodiment, the small compound collection bag 8 shown in detail in FIG. 3 is used, and the compound ejected from the compound through holes 4 and 5 is collected inside the compound collection bag 8. The illustrated compound collection bag 8 is formed into a bag shape by folding a plastic sheet (for example, a sheet made of polypropylene, vinyl chloride, etc.) having a width L 2 larger than the distance L 1 between the compound through holes 4 and 5. Therefore, the opening is provided with a pair of opening flaps 8a and 8b separated from each other to a width B.

Then, these openings flaps 8a, the inner surface of 8b, adhesive glue 9 is applied respectively to leave the knob portion 8c of the tip, equal to or longer than the width L 2 of the compound collection bag 8 between the inner surface A strip-shaped release paper 11 having a length L 3 is interposed, and the release paper 11 is removed so that the compound holes 4 and 5 are positioned inside the compound collection bag 8 as shown in FIG. Thus, the opening flaps 8a and 8b of the compound collection bag 8 can be temporarily attached to the outer peripheral surface of the linear sleeve 1. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line AA in FIG. 1. If the release paper is peeled off and attached to the straight sleeve as shown in FIG. 1, the compound extruded from the compound through holes 4 and 5 is surely compressed. There is no possibility of being stored in the collection bag 8 and being scattered outside to contaminate the clothes of the worker and the environment under the line.

FIG. 5 is a front view showing a state in which the collection bag 8 is attached to the straight sleeve 1. When the straight sleeve 1 is compressed from the left and right direction toward the center, the compound through holes 4 and 5 provided in the straight sleeve are covered. The adhesive sheet (S) on which various signs affixed to the outer peripheral surface are printed is easily torn at the compound through holes 4 and 5 and is securely stored in the collection bag 8 and scattered to the outside to be worn by the operator. And there is no risk of polluting the environment below the line.

FIG. 6 shows a first embodiment of the present invention, which is characterized in that an incision 12 is provided in the longitudinal direction between the compound through holes 4 and 5 of the adhesive sheet (S). With such a configuration, when the die compresses the end of the adhesive sheet (S), an incision is provided in the longitudinal direction between the compound escape holes 4 and 5, so that the compound can be easily removed from the recovery bag 8. There is no risk of erupting in and splashing outside.

Since the wire connector according to the first embodiment has the above-described structure, the release paper 11 is peeled from the opening flaps 8a and 8b of the flexible compound collection bag 8, and the compound through hole 4 of the linear sleeve 1 is peeled off. , 5 is surrounded, and the opening flaps 8a and 8b of the compound collection bag 8 are adhered to the outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall of the linear sleeve 1 to perform the operation. That is, when inserting the connection end portions 6 and 7 of the electric wires connected to the electric wire insertion holes 2 and 3 of the straight sleeve 1, a part of the compound prefilled in the electric wire insertion holes 2 and 3 is compound escape holes 4 and 5. However, the excess compound accumulates in the compound collection bag 8. Next, in the step of compressing and deforming the linear sleeve 1 with dies from the portions near the both end portions of the peripheral wall, the compound is vigorously ejected from the compound through holes 4 and 5 along with this compression deformation. , 5 is covered with a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet (S) provided with an incision 12 and covered with a compound collection bag 8, so that the ejected compound does not scatter around the incision. Since it is ejected and collected inside the compound collection bag 8, it is possible to prevent the work clothes and the like of the worker from being soiled by the ejection compound.

Further, after the connection of the electric wires, both the opening flaps 8a and 8b can be easily removed from the linear sleeve 1 by grasping the knob portion 8c and peeling it off on both sides. In this case, since the adhesive glue 9 is applied to the inner surfaces of the two opening flaps 8a and 8b, the opening of the compound collection bag 8A is naturally sealed when the two adhesive glues 9 are combined. There is also an advantage that 8 can be collected and discarded. In addition, as a means for providing an incision portion in the adhesive sheet (S), the adhesive sheet may be cut in advance, but after being fixed to the straight sleeve, it is incised with a cutter or other jig. However, the deviation from the compound hole is less likely to occur.

FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view corresponding to FIG. 6 of the electric wire connector according to the second embodiment of the present invention, and this embodiment shows the compound through holes 4 and 5 of the adhesive sheet (S) wound and fixed to the straight sleeve 1. An incision 13, 14 is provided for each compound through hole in the directly above circumferential direction. With such a configuration, when the die compresses the end of the adhesive sheet (S), an independent incision is provided in the circumferential direction immediately above the compound through holes 4 and 5, so that the location can be easily obtained. When destroyed, the compound is ejected into the collection bag 8 and is no longer scattered to the outside.

Since the wire connector according to the second embodiment has the above-described structure, the length of the incision portion provided in the circumferential direction directly above the compound through holes 4 and 5 may be equal to or less than the diameter of the through hole. It goes without saying. This is because the extrusion pressure of the compound is considerably high, and if there are a few cuts or small holes on the hole, the portion can be easily broken and easily ejected into the collection bag vigorously.

FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view corresponding to FIG. 6 of the electric wire connector according to the third embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment has an independent sewing machine in the vicinity of the compound through holes 4 and 5 of the adhesive sheet (S). It is characterized by providing eyes 15, 16 or a large number of small holes. With such a configuration, when the die compresses the end of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet (S), a perforation is provided in the vicinity of the compound through holes 4 and 5 so that the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet (S) is easier than that portion. Therefore, there is no risk that the compound is ejected into the collection bag 8 and scattered outside.
