Description
・アルカリ金属炭酸塩混合物の添加量が3%のときが、もっとも緻密な焼結体が得られた。これより少量では緻密化の度合いが低く、大量では膨潤が起こる。
・アルカリ金属炭酸塩混合物を3%添加した場合、温度が低い(430℃、450℃)と、緻密化せず、時間をかけても密度は理論密度の70〜80%である。
・高温(500℃以上)では急速に緻密化し、10分以内に最高密度に達するが、80〜90%である。
・480℃の焼結体の密度が最も高く、40分間焼結したものは、理論密度の92%に達した。

Claims (6)
- 炭酸リチウム、炭酸ナトリウムおよび炭酸カリウムの混合物であって融点が400℃以下であるアルカリ金属炭酸塩混合物の粉末に対して、炭酸カルシウムの粉末を配合し、均一に分散させたのち、得られた配合物にさらに炭酸カルシウムの粉末を配合し、均一に分散させることにより、アルカリ金属炭酸塩混合物を希釈する操作を繰り返し、最終的にアルカリ金属炭酸塩混合物が炭酸カルシウムとの配合物の重量の3%未満である配合物を形成し、この配合物を圧縮成型−静水圧プレスにより成型物とし、成型物を炭酸ガス雰囲気下に、460〜480℃の温度において焼結することにより、カサ密度が2.5g/cm3以上(理論密度の92%以上)である焼結体を得ることからなる炭酸カルシウム焼結体の製造方法。
- アルカリ金属炭酸塩混合物として、重量で、Li2CO3:30〜50%、Na2CO3:25〜30%およびK2CO3:25〜40%からなる混合物を使用して実施する請求項1の炭酸カルシウム焼結体の製造方法。
- 最終的にアルカリ金属炭酸塩混合物が炭酸カルシウムとの配合物の重量の1%以下である配合物を形成して実施する請求項1の炭酸カルシウム焼結体の製造方法。
- 炭酸カルシウムの粉末として、粒径0.5μm以下の微粉末を使用して実施する請求項1の炭酸カルシウム焼結体の製造方法。
- アルカリ金属炭酸塩混合物の粉末として、混合物をいったん溶融し固化させて得たものを粉砕してなるものを使用して実施する請求項1の炭酸カルシウム焼結体の製造方法。
- アルカリ金属炭酸塩混合物の粉末と炭酸カルシウムの粉末との混合を、これらを溶解しない液体の中で実施する請求項1の炭酸カルシウム焼結体の製造方法。
