で表されるパーフルオロアルキルスルホニルイミドイオンを含む電解液を用いた導電性高分子の製造方法により得られた導電性高分子膜であることが、1酸化還元サイクル当たり16%以上の伸縮率が得られるので、大きな伸縮を必要とする用途には、さらに好ましい。
本発明の導電性高分子の製造方法は、電解重合法による導電性高分子の製造方法であって、通電可能な線状部材が左右に蛇行した折り返し形状を有する電極を作用電極に用い、膜状の導電性高分子を前記作用電極上に形成する導電性高分子の形成方法である。前記製造方法を用いることにより、上述の導電性高分子膜と通電可能な支持体とが複合された導電性高分子複合構造体を、導電性高分子膜と通電可能な支持体との複雑な貼り合わせ作業をすることなく、容易に得ることができる。

図7は、本発明の導電性高分子複合構造体の積層体についての斜視図である。導電性高分子複合構造体の積層体31は、第一の導電性高分子複合構造体32、第二の導電性高分子複合構造体33、第三の導電性高分子複合構造体34、及び第四の導電性高分子複合構造体35が積層された4層構造を備えている。各導電性高分子複合構造体には、線状部材が左右に蛇行した折り返し形状を有する支持体が含まれている。第一層目である第一の導電性高分子複合構造体32には、膜状である導電性高分子36の内部に通電可能な支持体37を含む。支持体37は、線状部材が左右に蛇行した折り返し形状を有している。第二乃至第三層である第二の導電性高分子複合構造体33、第三の導電性高分子複合構造体34、及び第四の導電性高分子複合構造体においても、第一の導電性高分子複合構造体32と同様に、導電性高分子の膜状体中に、線状部材が左右に蛇行した折り返し形状を有している通電可能な支持体を備えている。図7においては、第二の導電性高分子複合構造体33、第三の導電性高分子複合構造体34、及び第四の導電性高分子複合構造体に含まれる通電可能な支持体が省略されている。

前記通電可能な線状部材が左右に蛇行した折り返し形状を有する電極であって、当該電極を作用電極に用いた電解重合法によって、導電性高分子膜を前記作用電極上に形成して導電性高分子複合構造体を得る導電性高分子複合構造体の製造方法。 - 前記電極が通電性枠体を備え、該枠体と前記折り返し部とがブリッジ部を介して通電可能に接続されている請求項5に記載の導電性高分子複合構造体の製造方法。
- 前記通電可能な線状部材が、通電性を有する金属からなる線状部材である請求項5または6記載の導電性高分子複合構造体の製造方法。
- 前記通電可能な線状部材が線状基材上にスパッタリングまたは蒸着により金属層を備えた線状部材である請求項5乃至7のいずれかに記載の導電性高分子複合構造体の製造方法。
- 絶縁性基板上に前記作用電極を設置して、導電性高分子膜を前記作用電極上および前記左右に蛇行した折り返し形状における折り返しピッチによる線状部材の間隔に存在する絶縁性基板上に形成する請求項5乃至8のいずれかに記載の導電性高分子複合構造体の製造方法。
