化粧料や医薬品及び医薬部外品に使用される乳化組成物としてW/O型乳化組成物並びにO/W型乳化組成物が開示されている。W/O型乳化組成物は皮膚への密着性が良く、耐水性に優れ、化粧品においては化粧持ちが良く、医薬品においては皮膚のバリア能に優れ、薬剤の浸透性が良いことから広く利用されている。しかしながら、安定性に欠けることからワックスや粘土鉱物を配合したり、一度に多量の界面活性剤を必要とするのが一般的である。これらの界面活性剤のなかで、一般にはポリオキシエチレン系界面活性剤が広く用いられてきた。これらの界面活性剤は乳化性は良いものの、高温安定性(40℃以上)が低いことや使用量が増えると使用感(べたつき)が悪くなり、まれに皮膚刺激性を生ずるなどの安全性の問題が指摘されている。安全性の高い乳化剤として、ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルがポリオキシエチレン系界面活性剤の代わりに使用されているが、他の非イオン界面活性剤より乳化力が弱く、安定な乳化物を得ることはなかなか困難であった。ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルを使用した乳化組成物としては再公表特許WO99/25310号公報に開示されているW/O形乳化組成物があり、皮膚のバリア能に優れ、薬剤の浸透性が良いことが開示されている。しかし、使用時においてべたつきや油っぽさを感じ、使用感が不十分である。一方、O/W型乳化組成物はW/O形乳化組成物に比べ油の分離や粘度の安定性にすぐれ、水分を広範囲に調整でき、また使用感においては連続相が水であるため、清涼感にすぐれ、のびがよくさっぱりした使用感とともに水分の補給性に優れている。O/W型組成物からなる化粧料の例として特開昭62−266135号公報が開示されており、また使用感を改良するために水溶性高分子を使用した特開平11−236310号公報が開示されている。しかしながら、皮膚への密着性、耐水性は不十分である。皮膚への密着性、耐水性を高めるために、半固形乃至固形のエステル油を配合する特開平10−130132号公報、アシル乳酸およびその塩を配合する特開平9−48705号公報が開示されているが、べたつきや使用感が重くなることから使用量が制限され、また調整に手間がかかる。W/O形乳化組成物の長所である皮膚への密着性、耐水性に優れた点とを合わせもって、なおかつ、安全性、乳化性、保存安定性、使用感の全てにおいて満足するO/W型乳化化粧料は得られていない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、安全性、乳化性、保存安定性、使用感の全てにおいて満足するO/W型乳化組成物を提供することを技術的課題とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
斯かる実情において、本発明者らは鋭意検討を行った結果、デキストリン脂肪酸エステル、ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルを含有したO/W型乳化組成物、及び更に水溶性高分子を含有したO/W型乳化組成物が、従来に比べ使用感にすぐれ、また保存安定性が良好であり、安全性が高いことを見出し本発明を完成させた。
すなわち、本発明は、
1)次の成分(A)〜(B)
(A)デキストリン脂肪酸エステル 0.1〜10重量%、
(B)ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル 2〜12重量%、
を配合してなるO/W型乳化組成物、
2)C)さらに水溶性高分子 5重量%未満、
を配合してなる1)記載のO/W型乳化組成物、
3)デキストリン脂肪酸エステルが、
(1)デキストリンの平均糖重合度が3〜150、
(2)脂肪酸が、
(i) 炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸の1種または2種以上であるか、および/または
(ii)(a)炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸と(b)炭素数4〜26の分岐脂肪酸、炭素数6〜30の不飽和脂肪酸、炭素数6以下の直鎖飽和脂肪酸からなる群から選ばれる1種または2種以上との混合物
であり、
(3)エステルのグルコース単位あたりの脂肪酸の置換度が1.0〜3.0である、
1)又は2)記載のO/W型乳化組成物、
4)1)、2)または3)記載のO/W型乳化組成物を含有する化粧料、および
5)1)、2)または3)記載のO/W型乳化組成物を含有する医薬品及び医薬部外品、
に関するものである。

本発明の構成をより詳しく説明すれば次の通りである。
本発明のO/W型乳化組成物はデキストリン脂肪酸エステル、ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルの他に、油性基材、油性成分からなる油成分、添加剤、薬剤、水性成分を含有するものであり、更に水溶性高分子を含有していてもよい。本発明のO/W型乳化組成物は、乳液、クリーム、軟膏、皮膚外用剤などに用いることが出来る。

本発明における(A)成分であるデキストリン脂肪酸エステルは、デキストリンと脂肪酸とがエステル結合しているもの全てを含む。
この脂肪酸としては、(i)炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸の1種または2種以上であるか、および/または(ii)(a)炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸と(b)炭素数4〜26の分岐脂肪酸、炭素数6〜30の不飽和脂肪酸、炭素数6以下の直鎖飽和脂肪酸の1種または2種以上との混合物が好ましく用いられる。
炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸としてはカプリル酸、カプリン酸、ラウリン酸、ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、ベヘニン酸、オレイン酸、リノール酸、リシノレイン酸があり、炭素数4〜26の分岐脂肪酸としてはイソ酪酸、イソ吉草酸、2−エチル酪酸、エチルメチル酪酸、イソヘプタン酸、2−エチルヘキサン酸、イソノナン酸、イソデカン酸、イソトリデカン酸、イソミリスチン酸、イソパルミチン酸、イソステアリン酸、イソアラキン酸、 イソヘキサコン酸等が挙げられ、炭素数6〜30の不飽和脂肪酸としてはモノエン不飽和脂肪酸としてシス−4−デセン(オブツシル)酸、9−デセン(カプロレイン)酸、シス−4−ドデセン(リンデル)酸、シス−4−テトラデセン(ツズ)酸、シス−5−テトラデセン(フィセテリン)酸、シス−9−テトラデセン(ミリストレイン)酸、シス−6−ヘキサデセン酸、シス−9−ヘキサデセン(パルミトレイン)酸、シス−9−オクタデセン(オレイン)酸、トランス−9−オクタデセン(エライジン)酸、シス−11−オクタデセン(アスクレピン)酸、シス−11−エイコセン(ゴンドレイン)酸、シス−17−ヘキサコセン(キシメン)酸、シス−21−トリアコンテン(ルメクエン)酸等が挙げられ、ポリエン不飽和脂肪酸としてソルビン酸、リノール酸、ヒラゴ酸、プニカ酸、リノレン酸、γ―リノレン酸、モロクチ酸、ステアリドン酸、アラキドン酸、EPA、イワシ酸、DHA、ニシン酸、ステアロール酸、クレペニン酸、キシメニン酸等が挙げられ、炭素数6以下の直鎖飽和脂肪酸としてカプロン酸、吉草酸、酪酸、プロピオン酸、酢酸などが挙げられ、これらの一種または二種以上を適宣、選択または組み合わせて使用することができる。

脂肪酸については(i)炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸の1種または2種以上または(ii)(a)炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸と(b)炭素数4〜26の分岐脂肪酸、炭素数6〜30の不飽和脂肪酸、炭素数6以下の直鎖飽和脂肪酸の1種または2種以上との混合物が好ましく用いられるが、(i)および(ii)を用いた場合、(i)は、コクとリッチ感にすぐれ、べたつきがなく、(ii)は、のびがよく、しっとり感にすぐれている。このことから両者を適度に配合することにより、任意の目的の使用感となるO/W型乳化組成物が得られる。
また(ii)の(a)炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸と(b)炭素数4〜26の分岐脂肪酸、炭素数6〜30の不飽和脂肪酸、炭素数6以下の直鎖飽和脂肪酸の1種または2種以上との混合物における(a)と(b)との割合はモル比率が50対50から99対1の範囲であり、さらに好ましくは70対30から 99対1の範囲である。(b)が50を超えると、コクは出るものの、べたつきが増すので好ましくない。

デキストリン脂肪酸エステルとしては、本願出願人がすでに開示した特開平04−049249号公報、特開平08−277302号に記載のデキストリンの平均重合度が3〜150、脂肪酸が、炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸の1種または2種以上であるか、および/または炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸と炭素数4〜26の分岐脂肪酸、炭素数6〜30の不飽和脂肪酸、炭素数6以下の直鎖飽和脂肪酸の1種または2種以上からなるグルコース単位あたりの脂肪酸の置換度が1.0〜3.0であるデキストリン脂肪酸エステルが望ましい。脂肪酸の置換度が1未満では使用する油剤によっては溶解性が若干悪くなる。
より具体的には、カプリル酸デキストリン、カプリン酸デキストリン、ラウリン酸デキストリン、ミリスチン酸デキストリン、パルミチン酸デキストリン、ステアリン酸デキストリン、アラキン酸デキストリン、ベヘニン酸デキストリン、イソステアリン酸デキストリン、2−エチルヘキサン酸/パルミチン酸デキストリン等が上げられる。これらのうちミリスチン酸デキストリン(商品名レオパールMKL、千葉製粉(株)製)、パルミチン酸デキストリン(商品名レオパールKL、千葉製粉(株)製)、ステアリン酸デキストリン、ベヘニン酸デキストリン、2−エチルヘキサン酸/パルミチン酸デキストリン(商品名レオパールTT、千葉製粉(株)製)が、安定性、使用感から最も好ましいが、これらに限定されるものではない。
デキストリン脂肪酸エステルの配合量は化粧料全量に対して0.1〜10重量%であり、好ましくは0.2〜4%である。配合量が、0.1%未満では使用感にコクとリッチ感が出ず、保存安定性の向上が見られない。また10%を越えると使用感が重くなり、保存安定性が悪いものとなる。

本発明における(B)成分のポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルは、グリセリンが縮合により重合したポリグリセリンと脂肪酸とをエステル化して得られる非イオン界面活性剤である。具体的には、ポリグリセリンの平均重合度が2〜20であり、これに炭素数12〜22の飽和または不飽和から選ばれた、直鎖または分岐の脂肪酸をエステル化させて得られるもので、ポリグリセリンの重合度と脂肪酸の種類、エステル化度により、HLBが1〜16まで任意なものが得られる。HLBは、hydrophile-lipophile balanceの略で 界面活性剤の親水性と親油性の強さのバランスを数値で表わしたものである。炭素数12〜22の飽和または不飽和脂肪酸としてはラウリン酸、ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、ベヘニン酸、オレイン酸、リノール酸、リシノレイン酸、縮合リシノレイン酸、イソパルミチン酸、イソステアリン酸、2−エチルヘキサン酸、エルカ酸などが挙げられる。

前記ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルの内、グリセリンの平均重合度が2〜10で脂肪酸の炭素数が10〜22であるものが好ましく、グリセリンの平均重合度が8〜10で脂肪酸の炭素数が14〜18で、HLBが7〜16であるものが更に好ましい。脂肪酸の炭素数が10未満であると、使用感が悪く保存安定性に欠け、また炭素数が22を超えた場合は乳化が不充分となり安定なものが得られにくくなる。
これらポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルは、単独で用いるのが好ましいが、二種以上のポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルの調整HLBが7〜16となるよう配合調整して適宣組み合わせて用いることもできる。

ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルの含有量としては、2〜12重量%であり、好ましくは4〜10%である。2%未満では、良好な乳化物が得られず、また12%を超えて配合すると良好な乳化効果を得られても全体に硬く使用感がべたつくなど悪いものになる。
ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルの市販製品例として、ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル(サンソフトAシリ−ズ:太陽化学(株)製)、イソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル(マツネートMI−610:松本工業製薬(株)製)、ジイソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル(マツネートMI−102:松本工業製薬(株)製)、モノステアリン酸デカグリセリル(SYグリスターMSW−750、阪本薬品工業製)、モノイソステアリン酸デカグリセリル(SフェイスIS−1001、阪本薬品工業製)、モノミリスチン酸デカグリセリル(SフェイスM−1001、阪本薬品工業製)などが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。

本発明のO/W型乳化組成物は、上記(A)デキストリン脂肪酸エステル、(B)ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルに油性基材、油性成分からなる油成分、添加剤、薬剤、水性成分を加えて製造されるが、本発明に使用できる油成分としては、一般に使用されている液状から固形までの任意の油成分が使用でき、液状油としてはマカデミアナッツ油、オリーブ油、ヒマワリ油、アボカド油、ククイナッツ油、グレプシード油、サザンカ油、サフラワー油、ローズヒップ油、ホホバ油などのトリグリセライド、ラウリン酸、ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、ベヘン酸、オレイン酸、12−ヒドロヒシステアリン酸、ウンデシレン酸、トール酸、イソステアリン酸、アラキドン酸、リノール酸、リノレン酸、エイコサペンタエン酸(EPA)、ドコサヘキサエン酸(DHA)などの高級脂肪酸、 植物性スクワラン、流動パラフィンなどの炭化水素油、ミリスチン酸イソプロピル、オクタン酸セチル、パルミチン酸イソプロピル、ステアリン酸ブチル、ラウリン酸ヘキシル、ミリスチン酸ミリスチル、オクタン酸デシル、ジメチルオクタン酸ヘキシル、乳酸セチル、乳酸ミリスチル、酢酸ラノリン、ステアリン酸イソセチル、12−ヒドロキシステアリン酸コレステリル、イソステアリン酸イソプロピル、パルミチン酸セチル、イソオクタン酸セチル、ミリスチン酸イソセチル、ミリスチン酸オクチルドデシルなどの合成エステル油、ジメチルポリシロキサン、メチルフェニルポリシロキサン、メチルハイトロジェンポリシロキサンなどの鎖状シリコーン、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、デカメチルシクロヘキサシロキサンなどの環状シリコーン、架橋型メチルオリシロキサン、架橋型メチルフェニルポリシロキサンなどの架橋型シリコーン、ポリオキシエチレンやポリオキシプロピレンなどで変性した変性シリコー油などである。固体油脂としてはカカオ脂、ヤシ脂、馬脂、硬化ヤシ脂、パーム油、牛脂、羊脂、硬化牛脂、パーム油核、豚脂、牛骨脂、モクロウ核油、硬化油、牛脚油、モクロウ、硬化ヒマシ油など、ロウ類としてはミツロウ、キャンデリラロウ、綿ロウ、カルナバロウ、ベイベリーロウ、イボタロウ、鯨ロウ、モンタンロウ、ヌカロウ、ラノリン、カポックロウ、酢酸ラノリン、液状ラノリン、サトウキビロウ、ラノリン脂肪酸イソプロピル、ラノリン酸ヘキシル、還元ラノリン、ジョジョバロウ、硬質ラノリン、セラックロウ、POEラノリンアルコールエーテル、POEラノリンアルコールアセテート、POEコレステロールエーテル、ラノリン脂肪酸ポリエチレングリコール、POE水素添加ラノリンアルコールエーテルなど、高級アルコール類としてはラウリルアルコール、セチルアルコール、ステアリルアルコール、ベヘニルアルコール、ミリスチルアルコール、オレイルアルコール、セトステアリルアルコール等の直鎖アルコール、モノステアリルグリセリンエーテル(バチルアルコール)2−デシルトラデシノール、ラノリンアルコール、コレステロール、フィトステロール、ヘキシルドデカノール、イソステアリルアルコール、オクチルドデカノールなどの分岐鎖アルコールなどを適宣配合する事ができる。
本発明に使用できる水性成分としては、精製水、イオン交換水、逆浸透水、オゾン殺菌水、酸性イオン水、アルカリイオン水、深層海水が挙げられる。

水溶性高分子の配合量は、5重量%未満であり、好ましくは0.05〜3重量%である。5重量%を超えると安定ではあるが高粘度のものとなり使用感が悪いものとなる。

(B)ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル 2〜6重量%、および

(A)デキストリン脂肪酸エステルが、
(1)デキストリンの平均糖重合度が3〜150、
(2)脂肪酸が、
(i) 炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸の1種または2種以上であるか、および/または
(ii)(a)炭素数8〜22の直鎖脂肪酸と(b)炭素数4〜26の分岐脂肪酸、炭素数6〜30の不飽和脂肪酸、炭素数6以下の直鎖飽和脂肪酸からなる群から選ばれる1種または2種以上との混合物
であり、
(3)エステルのグルコース単位あたりの脂肪酸の置換度が1.0〜3.0であり、
(B)ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルが,グリセリンの平均重合度が8〜10で脂肪酸の炭素数が14〜18で、HLBが7〜16であるものである、
