Description

The present invention relates to an oil strainer that is provided in, for example, an automatic transmission of an automobile and filters oil circulating in the automatic transmission.

Conventionally, as this kind of oil strainer, one having a box-shaped case-like strainer main body and a filter member accommodated inside the strainer main body is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The strainer body is composed of a concave upper divided body and a lower divided body divided at an intermediate portion in the vertical direction. The upper divided body is provided with an oil outflow portion, and the lower divided body is provided with an oil inflow portion. A flange for vibration welding is provided on each of the open portion peripheral portions of the upper divided body and the lower divided body. When integrating the upper divided body and the lower divided body, set both divided bodies on the vibration welding machine with the open parts facing each other, and press the flanges against each other to place the upper divided body on the lower side. A so-called vibration welding method is used in which a flange is welded by vibrating the divided body.

As a result, the protruding portion can be reliably engaged with the concave portion over the entire circumference, and the mating portion can be sealed. As a result, air can no longer be sucked into the inside of the strainer main body from the mating portion, so that oil suction failure can be prevented, and oil leakage can also be prevented. Thus, in the present invention, an oil strainer that prevents air suction and oil leakage can be obtained without using a vibration welding method that requires expensive equipment and complicated manufacturing process management. The strainer cost can be reduced.

According to the invention of claim 2, since the rigidity of the filter side wall portion is improved by providing the reinforcing portion at a position corresponding to the protrusion portion of the filter side wall portion, the first side wall portion falls to the inside of the strainer body. Is prevented, and the protrusion and the recess can be firmly engaged, and air suction and oil leakage can be more reliably prevented.

According to invention of Claim 3, since a 2nd side wall part can be pressed on a 1st side wall part, a protrusion part and a concave part can be engaged still more firmly.

According to invention of Claim 4, since a 1st side wall part can be pressed on a 2nd side wall part by a filter side wall part, a protrusion part and a concave part can be engaged still more firmly.

According to the invention of claim 5, since the rigidity of the portion corresponding to the portion between the first side wall portion from the vicinity of the tip of the second side wall portion to the first opposing wall portion is improved, the first side wall portion is separated from the second side wall portion. It is possible to suppress the deformation so as to be separated, and it is possible to more firmly engage the protrusion and the recess .

The flange 19 is fastened and fixed to the peripheral portion of an oil suction port (not shown) of the automatic transmission, so that the upper end portion of the upper cylindrical portion 17 is connected to the oil suction port. This upper cylinder part 17 is an oil outflow part of this invention.

The upper side wall portion 13 extends substantially perpendicular to the upper facing wall portion 11. On the outer peripheral surface of the upper side wall portion 13, an outer rib 27 that protrudes outward is integrally formed at a substantially central portion in the vertical direction. The outer rib 27 is located between the first opposing wall portion 11 and the tip of the lower side wall portion 33 described later, and is continuous over the entire circumference of the upper side wall portion 13. Further, the upper engaging portion 15 is configured by a protrusion having an arcuate cross section, and extends over the entire circumference of the upper side wall portion 13 below the outer rib 27 of the outer peripheral surface of the upper side wall portion 13. It has a continuous ring shape.

The lower divided body 9 includes a lower opposed wall portion 31 as a second opposed wall portion formed so as to cover the open portion 7a of the upper divided body 7, and an outer peripheral portion of the lower opposed wall portion 31. A lower side wall portion 33 as a second side wall portion extending along the outer peripheral surface of the upper side wall portion 13, and a lower side portion as a second engaging portion formed on the inner peripheral surface of the lower side wall portion 33. And a joint portion 35. The lower facing wall portion 31 extends substantially parallel to the upper facing wall portion 11 and is formed in a substantially rectangular shape that is slightly larger than the upper facing wall portion 11. In the vicinity of the peripheral portion of the lower facing wall portion 31, a lower cylindrical portion 37 that protrudes downward is integrally formed. The upper end portion of the lower cylinder portion 37 communicates with the inside of the strainer body 3. This lower cylinder part 37 is an oil inflow part of this invention.

The lower side wall portion 33 extends substantially parallel to the upper side wall portion 13, and gaps S <b> 1 and S <b> 2 are formed between the lower side wall portion 33 and the upper side wall portion 13. The gaps S1 and S2 are equivalent gaps. The length of the lower side wall portion 33 in the vertical direction is set shorter than the length of the upper side wall portion 13 in the vertical direction. In addition, the lower engaging portion 35 is configured by a concave portion having an arc shape in cross section, and the entire circumference of the lower side wall portion 33 is an intermediate portion in the vertical direction of the inner peripheral surface of the lower side wall portion 33. A continuous ring is formed over the upper engagement portion 15, and the upper engagement portion 15 is fitted into the lower engagement portion 35 so that they are engaged with each other.

As shown in FIG. 3, the arc shape of the cross section of the lower engagement portion 35 is set more gently than the arc shape of the cross section of the upper engagement portion 15. As a result, the upper engaging portion 15 and the lower engaging portion 35 are brought into substantially line contact over the entire circumference in an engaged state, the contact surface pressure is increased, and the upper side wall portion 13 is in close contact with each other. The space between the lower side wall portion 33 is sealed.

The lower engagement portion 35 is formed at a position between the lower end portion of the upper side wall portion 13 and the lower opposing wall portion 31 when the lower engagement portion 35 is engaged with the upper engagement portion 15. It is set to have a gap S3. At this time, a gap S <b> 4 is provided between the upper end portion of the lower side wall portion 33 and the outer rib 27. Thus, when the upper engagement portion 15 and the lower engagement portion 35 are engaged, the upper side wall portion 13 and the lower opposing wall portion 31 do not interfere with each other, and the lower side wall portion 33 and the outer rib 27 are not interfered with each other. No interference. As a result, only the lower engaging portion 35 and the upper engaging portion 15 are engaged, and the entire periphery is further adhered to improve the sealing performance. The gaps S1 to S4 are preferably set as small as possible.

As shown in FIG. 4, the filter member 5 includes a rectangular plate-like filter body 41 having a mesh for oil filtration, and a filter side wall 43 erected on the outer periphery of the filter body 41. It is an integral product formed by injection molding of a resin material. As shown in FIG. 2, the filter main body 41 has a size corresponding to the shape of the inner surface of the upper facing wall 11 and extends substantially parallel to the upper facing wall 11. The filter side wall 43 extends substantially the same length toward both sides in the vertical direction, which is the thickness direction of the filter main body 41, and has an annular shape that extends continuously over the entire circumference of the filter main body 41. The vertical length of the filter side wall 43 is substantially the same as the vertical length of the upper side wall 13. The outer peripheral surface of the filter side wall 43 is formed so as to contact the inner peripheral surface of the upper side wall 13.

As shown in FIG. 4, the filter body 41 is provided with an upper rib 45 protruding upward. The upper rib 45 extends across the filter body 41, and both ends are continuous with the inner peripheral surface of the filter side wall 43.

Next, the assembly procedure of the oil strainer 1 configured as described above will be described. First, the filter member 5 is inserted into the upper side wall portion 13 of the upper divided body 7. In this state, the outer peripheral surface of the filter side wall 43 of the filter member 5 is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the upper side wall 13.

Thereafter, the open portion 7a of the upper divided body 7 and the open portion 9a of the lower divided body 9 are opposed to each other and the upper end portion of the lower side wall portion 33 is positioned outside the upper side wall portion 13, The divided body 7 is moved in a direction approaching the lower divided body 9. Thus, the lower side wall portion 33 is fitted into the outside of the upper side wall portion 13, and when the upper end portion of the lower side wall portion 33 comes into contact with the upper engagement portion 15 in this fitting process, the lower side wall portion 33 33 is elastically deformed outward along the outer surface shape of the upper engaging portion 15. When the upper divided body 7 is further moved in the same direction, the upper end portion of the lower side wall portion 33 gets over the upper engaging portion 15 and the upper engaging portion 15 enters the lower engaging portion 35. The elastically deformed lower side wall 33 is restored to its original shape, and the lower engaging portion 35 is engaged with the upper engaging portion 15. As a result, the upper divided body 7 and the lower divided body 9 are integrated. When the upper divided body 7 and the lower divided body 9 are integrated, the lower divided body 9 may be moved so as to approach the upper divided body 7.

In a state where the lower engaging portion 35 is engaged with the upper engaging portion 15, the filter side wall portion 43 is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the upper side wall portion 13, and the upper side wall portion 13 is supported by the filter side wall portion 43. It becomes a state. Thereby, it is suppressed that the upper side wall part 13 falls to the inside of the strainer main body 3, and comes to leave | separate from the lower side wall part 33, and the lower side engaging part 35 covers the upper side engaging part 15 over a perimeter. The engagement portions 15 and 35 are surely engaged, and the mating portion between the upper divided body 7 and the lower divided body 9 is reliably sealed. Further, the outer rib 27 is provided in the vicinity of the tip of the outer side wall 33, whereby the rigidity of the upper side wall 13 is further increased, and the upper side wall 13 is prevented from being deformed away from the lower side wall 33. Thus, the lower engagement portion 35 and the upper engagement portion 15 are firmly engaged.

In the oil strainer 1 assembled as described above, the oil sucked into the inside of the strainer body 3 from the lower end portion of the lower cylinder portion 37 is filtered by the filter member 5, and then from the upper end portion of the upper cylinder portion 17. It will be sucked into the automatic transmission. At this time, since the mating portion of the upper split body 7 and the lower split body 9 is sealed as described above, the air outside the strainer body 3 is sucked into the inside from the mating portion of both split bodies 7 and 9. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the oil from being sucked up, and it is possible to prevent the oil in the strainer body 3 from leaking from the joint portion of the two divided bodies 7 and 9.

As described above, according to the oil strainer 1, without using the vibration welding method, the lower side wall portion 33 is fitted on the outer side of the upper side wall portion 13 and the lower engagement portion 35 is replaced with the upper engagement portion 15. Since the mating portions of the two divided bodies 7 and 9 can be surely sealed by engaging with each other, the cost of the oil strainer 1 can be reduced.

Further, since the vertical length of the lower side wall portion 33 is shorter than that of the upper side wall portion 13, the lower side wall portion 33 is relatively difficult to bend. Thereby, the lower side wall portion 33 is not easily deformed toward the outside of the strainer body 3, and the upper engagement portion 15 and the lower engagement portion 35 can be more firmly engaged.

In the first embodiment, the outer rib 27 is continuously annularly formed. However, the outer rib 27 may be provided intermittently or may not be provided as in the first modification shown in FIG. In the first modification, the upper engaging portion 15 is provided at a substantially central portion in the vertical direction of the upper side wall portion 13, and is positioned at a position overlapping the filter main body 41 in a side view, that is, a position corresponding to the filter main body 41. Yes. The lower side wall portion 33 extends upward, and a lower engagement portion 35 is provided near the upper side of the lower side wall portion 33. By providing the upper engaging portion 15 so as to correspond to the filter main body 41 in this manner, the filter main body 41 acts so as to be stretched when the upper side wall portion 13 is about to deform toward the inside of the strainer main body 3. It will be. Thereby, it can suppress effectively that the upper side engaging part 15 deform | transforms inward of the strainer main body 3, and can engage the upper side division body 7 and the lower side division body 9 still more firmly. it can.

Moreover, you may provide the lower rib 61 as a reinforcement part inside the filter side wall part 43 of the filter member 5 like the modification 2 shown in FIG. The lower rib 61 is continuous with the outer peripheral portion of the lower surface of the filter main body 41 and the inner peripheral surface of the filter side wall portion 43, and is deformed so that the filter side wall portion 43 falls down toward the inner side of the filter main body 41. It is for suppressing. The lower end side of the lower rib 61 overlaps with the upper engaging portion 15 in a side view, and is positioned so as to correspond to the upper engaging portion 15. In the second modification, the filter side wall 43 can be prevented from being deformed inward of the strainer body 3, and therefore, the upper side wall 13 is prevented from being separated from the lower side wall 33. Thus, the upper engagement portion 15 and the lower engagement portion 35 can be firmly engaged.

Moreover, you may provide the recessed part 63 dented below in the outer peripheral part of the filter main body 41 of the filter member 5 like the modification 3 shown in FIG. The recess 63 is continuous with the outer periphery of the filter body 41. The bottom surface portion 63 a of the recess 63 overlaps with the upper engagement portion 15 in a side view and is positioned so as to correspond to the upper engagement portion 15. In the third modification, the slope 63a increases the rigidity in the vicinity of the upper engagement portion 15 of the filter side wall 43, so that the filter side wall 43 can be prevented from being deformed toward the inside of the strainer body 3. The upper engaging portion 15 and the lower engaging portion 35 can be firmly engaged.

Further, as in Modification 4 shown in FIG. 8, an annular first plate-like portion 65 protruding downward, the first plate-like portion 65, and the filter side wall portion are formed on the outer peripheral portion of the filter body 41 of the filter member 5. The second plate-like portion 67 extending so as to connect the 43 may be provided. The first plate-like portion 65 is separated inward from the filter side wall portion 43 and extends substantially parallel to the filter side wall portion 43. A plurality of the second plate-like portions 67 are provided with a gap between the second plate-like portion 67 and the outer peripheral surface of the first plate-like portion 65. The lower end side of the second plate-shaped portion 67 overlaps with the upper engaging portion 15 in a side view, and is positioned so as to correspond to the upper engaging portion 15. In the second modification, the first plate-like portion 65 and the second plate-like portion 67 prevent the portion corresponding to the upper engagement portion 15 of the filter side wall portion 43 from being deformed toward the inside of the strainer body 3. Therefore, the upper engaging portion 15 and the lower engaging portion 35 can be firmly engaged. The first plate-like portion 65 may be provided intermittently without being annularly continued.

<< Embodiment 2 of the Invention >>
FIG. 9 shows an oil strainer 1 according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention. The oil strainer 1 according to the second embodiment is the same as the first embodiment except that the shape of the strainer body 3 and the length of the filter side wall 43 are different from those of the first embodiment. Different portions will be described in detail, and the same portions will be denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof will be omitted.

A boundary portion between the upper facing wall portion 11 and the upper side wall portion 13 of the upper divided body 7 is formed in a circular arc shape. The upper side wall portion 13 is formed such that its lower half portion is located outside the strainer body 3 with respect to the upper half portion, and a stepped portion 71 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the upper side wall portion 13. The outer rib 27 is formed in the lower half portion of the upper side wall portion 13. In addition, the length of the filter side wall 43 erected on the upper side of the filter body 41 is set shorter than that of the first embodiment. The filter side wall 43 is accommodated and held in the stepped portion 71 of the upper side wall 13.

A boundary portion between the lower facing wall portion 31 and the lower side wall portion 33 of the lower divided body 9 is also formed in an arcuate shape. In the lower facing wall portion 31, a lower holding portion 73 as a first holding portion that holds the filter side wall portion 43 in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the upper side wall portion 13 against the upper side wall portion 13. A plurality is provided along the outer peripheral portion of the lower facing wall portion 31 at intervals. The lower holding portion 73 is formed in a plate shape that protrudes upward from the inner surface of the lower facing wall portion 31 and extends inward and outward of the facing wall portion 31. On the upper side of the lower holding portion 73, an inclined surface 73a that is inclined downward toward the outside of the lower facing wall portion 31 is provided.

When assembling the oil strainer 1 of the second embodiment, when the lower side wall portion 33 is fitted to the outside of the upper side wall portion 13, the lower end portion of the filter side wall portion 43 is guided in sliding contact with the inclined surface 73a. The In a state where the lower side wall portion 33 is completely fitted, the lower side holding portion 73 supports the filter side wall portion 43 from the inner peripheral surface and presses and holds the filter side wall portion 43 against the upper side wall portion 13. become. As a result, the lower engaging portion 35 can be more firmly engaged with the upper engaging portion 15, and air suction and oil leakage can be prevented in advance. The lower holding portion 73 may be formed in a continuous annular shape along the outer peripheral portion of the lower facing wall portion 31.

Also by the oil strainer 1 of the second embodiment, the same effect as that of the first embodiment can be obtained.

In the second embodiment, the lower holding portion 73 is provided on the lower facing wall portion 31. However, as in the modification shown in FIG. 10, the lower holding portion 73 is omitted and the upper side wall portion 13 is omitted. In addition, an upper holding part 75 that presses and holds the lower side wall part 33 fitted to the outside of the upper side wall part 13 against the upper side wall part 13 may be provided. The upper holding portion 75 includes a base portion 77 that protrudes substantially horizontally from the outer peripheral surface of the upper side wall portion 13 and extends annularly along the outer peripheral surface, and a front end side portion that protrudes downward from the front end portion of the base portion 77 and extends annularly. 79. A convex portion 81 extending in an annular shape along the outer peripheral surface is formed at the upper end portion of the outer peripheral surface of the lower side wall portion 33. In a state where both the divided bodies 7 and 9 are combined, a gap S <b> 5 is formed between the base portion 77 and the upper end portion of the lower side wall portion 33.

In this modification, in a state where the upper divided body 7 and the lower divided body 9 are combined, the upper end portion of the lower side wall portion 33 enters between the front end side portion 79 and the upper side wall portion 13, and the convex portion 81. Is in pressure contact with the distal end side portion 79. Accordingly, the lower side wall portion 33 can be pressed and held on the upper side wall portion 13 side, so that the lower engagement portion 35 can be more firmly engaged with the upper engagement portion 15, and air suction or Oil leakage can be prevented in advance. You may make it form the said upper holding | maintenance part 75 and the convex part 81 intermittently, without making it continue cyclically | annularly. Further, both the upper holding portion 75 and the lower holding portion 73 may be provided.

In the first and second embodiments, the upper cylindrical portion 17 of the upper divided body 7 is an oil outflow portion and the lower cylindrical portion 37 of the lower divided body 9 is an oil inflow portion. The cylinder part 17 may be an oil inflow part, and the lower cylinder part 37 may be an oil outflow part.

Although not shown, the lower side wall portion 33 may be fitted inside the upper side wall portion 13. In this case, the filter member 5 is assembled to the lower divided body 9, the lower engagement portion is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the lower side wall portion 33, and the upper engagement is performed on the inner peripheral surface of the upper side wall portion 13. What is necessary is just to provide a part.

Moreover, in the said Embodiment 1, 2, although the upper side engaging part 15 was comprised by the protrusion part and the lower side engaging part 35 was comprised by the concave part, not only this but the upper side engaging part 15 is recessed. You may comprise by a strip part and you may comprise the lower side engaging part 35 by a protrusion part.

In the first and second embodiments, the filter side wall 43 is formed to be continuous in an annular shape, but the filter side wall 43 may be formed intermittently.

Moreover, in the said Embodiment 1, 2, although the strainer main body 3 forms the rectangular shape by planar view, the shape of the strainer main body 3 is not restricted to a rectangular shape. For example, the strainer main body 3 is formed in a thin cylindrical shape extending obliquely in the vertical direction, an oil outflow portion is provided in the upper portion, an oil inflow portion is provided in the lower portion, and the oil flowing into the strainer main body 3 It may be made to flow obliquely upward.

Moreover, in the said Embodiment 1, 2, although the division | segmentation direction of the strainer main body 3 is made into the up-down direction, the division | segmentation direction of the strainer main body 3 is good also as a horizontal direction or a diagonal direction.

Further, the oil strainer 1 of the present invention can be used for filtering oil circulating inside various power machines such as an internal combustion engine, in addition to the automatic transmission.

As described above, the oil strainer according to the present invention is suitable for, for example, filtering oil circulating inside an automatic transmission of an automobile.
