Claims (22)
- 通信サービスを提供するための方法であって、
前記方法が、
第1のドメインの第1のネットワークアドレス変換器の向こう側の送信元端点から、第2のドメイン内の送信先端点の電話番号を指定する、音声の呼を確立する要求を、前記音声の呼の確立のための信号伝達を提供するプロキシサーバにおいて受信する段階と、
前記音声の呼の確立と関連づけられた別のプロキシサーバからの信号伝達を、前記プロキシサーバと互換性があるフォーマットに変換する段階と、
前記電話番号に基づく送信先端点と通信するために、ネットワークアドレスを選択的に決定する段階と、
前記第2のドメイン内の第2のネットワークアドレス変換器の存在を判定する段階と、
もし前記ネットワークアドレスが決定され得る場合に、前記音声の呼を支援するように前記ネットワークアドレスに基づいて前記送信元端点と前記送信先端点との間のメディア経路を確立する段階と、
もし前記ネットワークアドレスが決定され得ない場合に、回線交換電話通信網に接続されたメディアゲートウェイに、前記音声の呼に関する前記メディア経路の確立の中止を合図する段階と
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ネットワークアドレスを決定する段階が、ENUM(Electronic Number)サーバによって実行され、
前記判定する段階が、STUN(Simple Traversal of UDP(User Datagram Protocol))サーバによって実行され、
前記確立する段階が、TURN(Traversal Using Relay NAT(Network Address Translation))サーバによって実行されると共に、
前記サーバの各々が、サービスプロバイダによって管理される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記メディア経路が、前記TURNサーバを通じて確立されると共に、
プロキシサーバが、前記メディア経路を通じて前記音声の呼を送信する
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記音声の呼が、IP(インターネットプロトコル)電話の呼である
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1のドメインと前記第2のドメインが、異なる企業ネットワークまたは自立ネットワークのいずれかに対応する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記プロキシサーバが、サービスプロバイダネットワーク、または前記第1のドメインの中に配置される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記プロキシサーバが、セッション開始プロトコル(SIP)の信号伝達を利用すると共に、前記別のプロキシサーバが、SIPタイプの信号伝達か、またはH.323の信号伝達のいずれかを利用する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記メディア経路の確立を中止した後に、セルラー接続を介して前記音声の呼を確立するために、前記メディアゲートウェイに、前記送信先端点と関連付けられた電話番号によって合図する段階を更に含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - マネージド通信サービスを提供するためのシステムであって、
前記システムが、
第1のドメインの第1のネットワークアドレス変換器の向こう側の送信元端点から、第2のドメイン内の送信先端点の電話番号を指定する、音声の呼を確立する要求を受信するように構成されたプロキシサーバと、
前記電話番号に基づく送信先端点と通信するために、ネットワークアドレスを選択的に決定するように構成されたアドレスサーバと、
前記第2のドメイン内の第2のネットワークアドレス変換器の存在の判定を支援するように構成されたSTUN(Simple Traversal of UDP(User Datagram Protocol))サーバと、
もし前記ネットワークアドレスが決定され得る場合に、前記音声の呼を支援するように前記ネットワークアドレスに基づいて前記送信元端点と前記送信先端点との間のメディア経路を確立するように構成されたTURN(Traversal Using Relay NAT(Network Address Translation))サーバと、
前記音声の呼の確立と関連づけられた別のプロキシサーバからの信号伝達を、前記プロキシサーバと互換性があるフォーマットに変換するように構成されたゲートウェイと
を備え、
もし前記ネットワークアドレスが決定され得ない場合に、前記プロキシサーバが、回線交換電話通信網に接続されたメディアゲートウェイに、前記音声の呼に関する前記メディア経路の確立の中止を合図する
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記プロキシサーバが、前記メディア経路を通じて前記音声の呼を送信する

前記システムが、
第1のドメインの第1のネットワークアドレス変換器の向こう側の送信元端点から、第2のドメイン内の送信先端点の電話番号を指定する、音声の呼を確立する要求を、前記音声の呼の確立のための信号伝達を提供するプロキシサーバにおいて受信するための手段と、
前記音声の呼の確立と関連づけられた別のプロキシサーバからの信号伝達を、前記プロキシサーバと互換性があるフォーマットに変換するための手段と、
前記電話番号に基づく送信先端点と通信するために、ネットワークアドレスを選択的に決定するための手段と、
前記第2のドメイン内の第2のネットワークアドレス変換器の存在を判定するための手段と、
もし前記ネットワークアドレスが決定され得る場合に、前記音声の呼を支援するように前記ネットワークアドレスに基づいて前記送信元端点と前記送信先端点との間のメディア経路を確立するための手段と、
もし前記ネットワークアドレスが決定され得ない場合に、回線交換電話通信網に接続されたメディアゲートウェイに、前記音声の呼に関する前記メディア経路の確立の中止を合図するための手段と
を備えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記ネットワークアドレスを選択的に決定するための手段が、ENUM(Electronic Number)サーバであり、
前記判定するための手段が、STUN(Simple Traversal of UDP(User Datagram Protocol))サーバであり、
前記確立するための手段が、TURN(Traversal Using Relay NAT(Network Address Translation))サーバであると共に、
前記サーバの各々が、サービスプロバイダによって管理される
ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。 - 前記メディア経路が、前記TURNサーバを通じて確立されると共に、
プロキシサーバが、前記メディア経路を通じて前記音声の呼を送信する
ことを特徴とする請求項16に記載のシステム。 - 前記音声の呼が、IP(インターネットプロトコル)電話の呼である
ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。 - 前記第1のドメインと前記第2のドメインが、異なる企業ネットワークまたは自立ネットワークのいずれかに対応する
ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。 - 前記プロキシサーバが、サービスプロバイダネットワーク、または前記第1のドメインの中に配置される
ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。 - 前記プロキシサーバが、セッション開始プロトコル(SIP)の信号伝達を利用すると共に、前記別のプロキシサーバが、SIPタイプの信号伝達か、またはH.323の信号伝達のいずれかを利用する
ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。 - 前記メディア経路の確立を中止した後に、セルラー接続を介して前記音声の呼を確立するために、前記メディアゲートウェイに、前記送信先端点と関連付けられた電話番号によって合図するための手段を更に備える
