Description
図1に示す態様は、皮膚S上に配置された、本発明の好適態様によるイオントフォレーシス用電極構造体A1の使用状態の模式図である。この電極構造体A1は、イオントフォレーシス装置においてイオン性薬物を経皮的に投与するための作用側電極構造体として用いられる。イオントフォレーシス用電極構造体A1は、イオン性薬物の電荷と同種の極性の電源装置に電線を介して接続される電極11と、電極11に隣接して配置された電解液を含浸保持する電解液保持部12と、電解液保持部12に隣接して配置された液晶スイッチングセパレータF1と、セパレータF1に隣接して配置されたイオン性薬物と反対の極性のイオンを選択するイオン交換膜13と、イオン交換膜13に隣接して配置された、イオン性薬物を含浸保持する薬液保持部14と、薬液保持部14に隣接して配置された、イオン性薬物と同極性のイオンを選択するイオン交換膜15とを備え、その全体はカバー16によって収容されている。

Claims (6)
- イオン性薬物を保持するイオントフォレーシス用電極構造体であって、
電極構造体中の前記イオン性薬物と同種の極性の電源装置に接続される電極と、
該電極に隣接して配置された電解液を含浸保持する電解液保持部と、
該電解液保持部に隣接して配置された前記イオン性薬物と反対の極性のイオンを選択するイオン交換膜と、
該イオン交換膜に隣接して配置された前記イオン性薬物を含浸保持する薬液保持部と、 該薬液保持部に隣接して配置された、前記イオン性薬物と同極性のイオンを選択するイオン交換膜、とから少なくともなり、
前記イオン性薬物と反対の極性のイオンを選択するイオン交換膜の少なくとも片面に隣接して、液晶の配向変化により物質の透過と物質の遮断を切り替えることのできる、液晶スイッチングセパレータが配置されてなることを特徴とする、イオントフォレーシス用電極構造体。 - 前記セパレータが、電極構造体製造時及び保存時は物質移動を遮断するが、電圧印加または温度変化によって、液晶の配向が変化して物質の透過を許容するようになるものである、請求項1に記載のイオントフォレーシス用電極構造体。
- 前記セパレータが、6V以上の電圧印加により液晶の配向が変化して物質の透過を許容するようになるものである、請求項2に記載のイオントフォレーシス用電極構造体。
- 前記セパレータが、30℃以上の加温により液晶の配向が変化して物質の透過を許容するようになるものである、請求項2に記載のイオントフォレーシス用電極構造体。
- 電源装置と、該電源装置に接続され、かつ請求項1に記載の電極構造体を1以上含む2以上の電極構造体を含んでなる薬物投与手段と、前記電極構造体へ流れる電流を制御するための電流制御手段とを備え、
前記電流制御手段から流れる電流に応じて、前記電極構造体から、イオン性薬物を放出して生体へ経皮的に投与するようにしてなる、イオントフォレーシス装置。 - イオン性薬物を保持するイオントフォレーシス用電極構造体であって、
電極構造体中の前記イオン性薬物と同種の極性の電源装置に接続される電極と、
該電極に隣接して配置された電解液を含浸保持する電解液保持部と、
該電解液保持部に隣接して配置された前記イオン性薬物と反対の極性のイオンを選択するイオン交換膜と、
該イオン交換膜に隣接して配置された前記イオン性薬物を含浸保持する薬液保持部と、 該薬液保持部に隣接して配置された、前記イオン性薬物と同極性のイオンを選択するイオン交換膜、とから少なくともなり、
前記イオン性薬物と同極性のイオンを選択するイオン交換膜の少なくとも片面に隣接して、液晶の配向変化により物質の透過と物質の遮断を切り替えることのできる、液晶スイッチングセパレータが配置されてなることを特徴とする、イオントフォレーシス用電極構造体。
