(式中、Rは、アルカリ金属イオン、アルキルアンモニウムイオン、歩きルジアンモニウム、Xは、ハロゲンイオンである。popは、P2O5H2 2−である。)からなることを特徴とする。

(式中、Rは、アルカリ金属イオン、アルキルアンモニウムイオン、歩きルジアンモニウム、Xは、ハロゲンイオンである。popは、P2O5H2 2−である。)からなる。このましくは、R4が、[NH3(C4H8)NH3]2である。また、好ましくは、Xが、Iである。

次に、ヴェーパクロミズム現象を良好に示す[NH3(C4H8)NH3]2[Pt2(pop)4I]・4H20について詳細に検討を行った。
eV(1110nm)へシフトする。このスペクトル変化は、以前に報告されたヴェーパクロミック材料のものより大変大きい。MMX鎖化合物の光学励起における以前の理論的研究からCP相において2.37eVで観察される最も低いCTバンドは、[-I---Pt2+−P3+−I---Pt2+−Pt3+−I-]から[-I-Pt3+−P2+−--I---Pt2+−Pt3+−I-]への内部二量体CT励起に割り当てられる一方、CDW相において1.12eVでのCTバンドは、[-I---Pt2+−P2+−I---Pt3+−Pt3+−I-]から[-I-Pt2+−P3+-I---Pt2+−Pt3+−I-]への外部二量体へ寄与する。すなわち、CP―CDW転移、及び光学的ギャップの起源から生じた変化は、観察されるクロミズムを担う。340KでのギャップエネルギーEct=1.12eVは、図1に示すように、CDW相における化合物のものとほとんど等しい。それゆえ、観察されたCP―CDW転移はd(PT-I-Pt)における減少によって行われると考えるのが自然である。

- [NH3(C4H8)NH3]2[Pt2(pop)4I]・4H2O( 式中、popは、P2O5H22−である。)を用いた温度及び湿度に応じて変化する水蒸気の吸脱着を、色の変化及び磁性の変化で感知するマルチセンサー
