Description
Claims (15)
- 体内から容積領域を走査するための超音波腔内プローブであって、
当該超音波腔内プローブの使用中に把持されるべきハンドル区画と、
当該超音波腔内プローブの使用中に体腔内に挿入されるべき遠心端を有するシャフト区画と、
該シャフト区画の前記遠心端内に位置する旋回的に取り付けられた配列送受波器と、
前記ハンドル区画内に位置するモータと、
該モータ及び前記配列送受波器に結合された駆動機構と、
前記シャフト区画の前記遠心端内に位置する液体槽と、
前記シャフト区画の前記遠心端に位置する送受波器取付組立体とを含み、前記配列送受波器は、前記送受波器取付組立体に旋回的に取り付けられ、前記液体槽は、前記送受波器取付組立体内に位置し、
前記配列送受波器は、送受波器クレードルによって、前記送受波器取付組立体に旋回的に取り付けられ、前記送受波器クレードルは、ステンレス鋼よりも軽い材料から成り、前記送受波器クレードルは、前記液体槽をより容易に通過するよう、テーパ付きであり、
前記駆動機構は、走査中に前記配列送受波器を移動するよう作用し、
前記液体槽の一部は、走査中、前記配列送受波器と前記シャフト区画の前記遠心端との間に位置し、
当該超音波腔内プローブの重心は、前記ハンドル区画内に位置し、
前記液体槽の少なくとも90%は、前記送受波器取付組立体内に収容され、
前記液体槽の少なくとも90%は、前記シャフト区画の長さの最遠位25%内に位置する、
超音波腔内プローブ。 - 前記送受波器取付組立体は、前記シャフト区画の前記遠心端の3インチ内に近位終端を有し、前記液体槽の75%が前記送受波器取付組立体内に収容される、請求項1に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 前記送受波器取付組立体は、前記シャフト区画の前記遠心端の1.5インチ内に近位終端を有する、請求項2に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 前記液体槽は、25cc未満の容積の液体を有する、請求項1に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 前記液体槽は、10cc未満の容積の液体を有する、請求項4に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 前記液体槽は、ほぼ6ccの容積の液体を有する、請求項5に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 前記液体槽は、液体の10cc未満の容積を有する、請求項1に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 前記送受波器取付組立体は、主要本体を有し、前記配列送受波器は、前記送受波器取付組立体に旋回的に取り付けられ、前記送受波器取付組立体の前記主要本体は、ステンレス鋼よりも軽い材料で形成される、請求項1に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 前記送受波器クレードルは、さもなければ液体によって占められるであろう前記送受波器取付組立体内の容積を置換する前記配列送受波器の後方に位置する中実本体を含む、請求項1に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 前記送受波器取付組立体は、ステンレス鋼から成る摩耗面を含む、請求項8に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 前記摩耗面は、前記駆動機構の一部である、請求項10に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 当該超音波腔内プローブの重量は、400グラム未満である、請求項8に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 当該超音波腔内プローブの重量は、300グラム未満である、請求項12に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- 当該超音波腔内プローブの重量は、ほぼ250グラムである、請求項13に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
- ステンレス鋼の密度と少なくとも等しい材料から成る前記シャフトの唯一の構成部分は、前記駆動機構の構成部分である、請求項13に記載の超音波腔内プローブ。
