Description
1.一般式:(1)A−C−Aまたは(2)(A−C)nX〔式中、各Aは、独立して、芳香族ビニル化合物のポリマーブロックであり、Cは、ブタジエン(B)とイソプレン(I)、B:Iの重量比が30:70から70:30の範囲である混合ポリマーブロック(B/I)であり、前記ポリマーブロックCは、最大−50℃のガラス転移温度(Tg)(ASTM E 1356−98に従って測定)を有し、nは、2以上の整数であり、およびXは、カップリング剤の残基である〕の1つ以上のスチレンブロックコポリマー、
2.3から18%および好ましくは4から14%の範囲の芳香族性(H−NMRで測定される芳香族プロトンの相対的百分率における)を有する粘着付与樹脂、および
3.1つ以上の可塑剤、
を含む接着剤組成物が、公知である。
i.式:A−I−A(1)または(A−I)nX(2)の少なくとも1つのブロックコポリマー(i)(a)、および式:A−(I/B)−A(3)または〔A−(I/B)〕n−X(4)の少なくとも1つのブロックコポリマー(i)(b)であり、ここで式中、各Aは、独立して、芳香族ビニル化合物のポリマーブロックであり、Iは、ポリ(イソプレン)ポリマーブロックであり、(I/B)は、イソプレンとブタジエンの、I:Bの重量比が約20:80から約80:20である混合ランダムポリマーブロックであり、nは、2以上であり、およびXは、カップリング剤の残基であり、ならびに前記ブロックコポリマー(i)(a)と(i)(b)の重量比が成分(i)中の総ブタジエン含有量が20重量%未満となるものである、前記ブロックコポリマー(i)(a)および(i)(b)、

を有する少なくとも1つのブロックコポリマー(i)(b)、
を含む。
本発明の接着剤組成物において単独の粘着付与成分として成功的に使用され得る、適した粘着付与樹脂は、30から60℃の示差走査熱量測定(DSC)ガラス転移温度Tgおよび80℃と110℃の間の環球式軟化点を示す。それらは、C5の炭化水素樹脂などの変性脂肪族炭化水素樹脂から選択することができる。適した粘着付与樹脂は、例えばZeon Chemical製のA−100、ExxonMobil製のESCOREZ(登録商標)1000シリーズ、特にESCOREZ(登録商標)1202、Eastman Chemical Company製のPICCOTAC(登録商標)1095またはPICCOTAC(登録商標)1098などの、芳香族変性されていないC5の樹脂を含むが、これらに限定されない。単独の粘着付与成分(ii)として使用される好ましい粘着付与樹脂は、95℃の環球式軟化点を示す変性脂肪族炭化水素樹脂である、PICCOTAC(登録商標)1095である。好ましい固体粘着付与樹脂は、85から97℃の範囲の環球式軟化点を有する。
本発明の接着剤組成物は、1つ以上の可塑剤を含むことができる。適した可塑剤は主に、性質がパラフィン性またはナフテン性であり(炭素芳香族分布が、DIN51378に従って決定して5%以下、好ましくは2%以下、より好ましくは0%である)、およびガラス転移温度が示差走査熱量測定により測定して−55℃未満である可塑化油を含む。そのような製品は、Royal Dutch/Shell Group of companiesから市販されており、SHELLFLEX(登録商標)、CATENEX(商標)、EDELEX(商標)およびONDINA(登録商標)油を含む。使用され得る他の可塑化油は、Witco製のKAYDOL(登録商標)油、Arco製のTUFFLO(登録商標)油、またはNYNAS製のNYPLAST(登録商標)を含む。本発明のために適したなお別の可塑剤は、Eastman Chemical Company製のREGALREZ(登録商標)R−1018またはGoodyear Tire and Rubber Company製のWINGTACK(登録商標)10などの、相溶性の液体粘着付与樹脂を含む。
他のゴム成分を、本発明による接着剤組成物に組み込むこともできる。接着剤の粘着性、臭気および色を変更するために、種々の他の成分を添加し得ることも、当分野において公知である。熱、光および加工によりまたは貯蔵の間に誘発される分解から接着剤を保護するために、酸化防止剤および他の安定化成分もまた添加し得る。そのような成分は、存在する場合、ブロックコポリマー成分(i)の100重量部あたり約0から約10重量部の量において存在する。
本発明の接着剤組成物の調製方法に、特に制限はない。それゆえ、ロール、バンバリーミキサーまたはダルトン混練機を使用する機械的混合方法、加熱および混合を、撹拌機を備える溶融反応釜(高剪断Z刃ミキサーまたは一軸もしくは二軸スクリュー押出機など)を使用して実施することを特徴とするホットメルト法、または配合成分を、適した溶媒中に注入し撹拌して感圧接着剤組成物の均質溶液を得る溶媒方法などの、任意の方法が使用され得る。
本発明によるPSA組成物を、いかなる溶媒をも用いないで(例えば、ホットメルト)またはその溶液の形態において、基材(紙またはプラスチックフィルムなど)に適切な塗布機により塗布することができ、それによりテープまたはラベルのためのさまざまな種類の感圧接着テープを製造する。
標準的な剥離、粘着、粘着および粘性試験を、これらの調合物に対し、感圧テープ評議会(PSTC)からの試験方法指導書、感圧物質のための標準FTNAT試験方法、感圧接着テープのためのAFERA試験方法およびASTM関連方法において記載のように実施した。種々の試験表面を、FINATにより推奨のクロムメッキしたステンレススチールプレート(No.304)(「ss」)およびクラフト紙の、適用の機能において使用した。
7.環球式軟化点は、樹脂が軟化する温度の、ASTM E−28試験方法に従った測定である。
ポリブタジエン含有量は、ポリマー、樹脂、可塑剤および安定剤の全体の調合に基づいて計算されていないことに留意されたい。
Claims (2)
- i.式:A−I−A(1)または(A−I)nX(2)の少なくとも1つのブロックコポリマー(i)(a)、および式:A−(I/B)−A(3)または〔A−(I/B)〕n−X(4)の少なくとも1つのブロックコポリマー(i)(b)[式中、各Aが、独立して、芳香族ビニル化合物のポリマーブロックであり、各Iが、ポリ(イソプレン)ポリマーブロックであり、各(I/B)が、I:Bの重量比が20:80から80:20であるイソプレンとブタジエンの混合ランダムポリマーブロックであり、nが、2以上の整数であり、およびXが、カップリング剤の残基であり、ならびに前記ブロックコポリマーの(i)(a)と(i)(b)の重量比が、成分(i)中の総ブタジエン含有量が20重量%未満となるものである]、
ii.変性脂肪族C5炭化水素樹脂から選択される粘着付与樹脂(前記C5炭化水素樹脂が芳香族変性樹脂でない)、および
iii.1つ以上の可塑剤、
を含む、接着剤組成物。 - 請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物を担体に適用することにより得られる、テープ、ラベルまたは巻き布。
