Description
Optical Profilerを用いて測定した自乗平均表面粗さ(Rq)が100〜1000nm、さらに好ましくは120〜700nm、さらに好ましくは130〜600nm、特に150〜500nmを示す。
(i)フィルムの透過光学濃度(TOD)は、Macbeth Densitometer TR927 (Dent and Woods Ltd, Basingstoke, UKから入手)を用いて透過モードで測定した。
(ii)白色第2層の外面のカラー等位値L*,a*、b*(CIE(1976))および白色度は、ASTMD313記載の原理に基づきColorgard System2000、Model/45(Pacific Scientific製)を用いて測定した。
(iii)変形指数(DI)は、0.785mm2の表面積をもつ試験プローブを備えた熱機械分析器Perkin Elmer typeTMA7を用いて測定した。ポリエステルフィルム試料はTMA7の炉中の試料ホルダに挿入され、選択した温度200℃で平衡に達するまで置く。プローブに荷重を掛け、熱したフィルム試料の平面に垂直に0.125Mpaの圧力を与えた。変形がゼロであることを確認した。次いでプローブの荷重を増し、それにより2Mpaの圧力を試料に与えた。増加した荷重のもとで観察されたプローブの変位量を記録し、変形していない加熱した試料(0.125Mpaの圧力のもとで)の厚さに対する百分率として表した。前述の百分率が試験されたフィルムのDIである。この手順を同一フィルムの異なる試料について4回繰り返し、5個の測定値の平均値を計算した。

このポリエステルフィルムはインスタント写真技術の剥離−分離システム用の受像フィルム基材に適している。

Claims (10)
- 第1の表面と第2の表面を備え2.0を超える光学濃度の不透明第1層と、白色第2層とを備えたポリエステルフィルムであって、
前記不透明第1層は、カーボンブラックを含む不透明化剤を有し、
前記不透明第1層は、さらに少なくとも1種のホワイトニング剤を含み、
前記白色第2層は、さらに前記不透明第1層の第1の表面上に配置され、
前記白色第2層は、前記第2層ポリエステル重量を基準にして、5〜60重量%の範囲でホワイトニング剤を含み、前記白色第2層の白色度は、少なくとも80であり、
前記不透明第1層の第2の表面は、前記ポリエステルフィルムの外面を構成することを特徴とするポリエステルフィルム。 - 第1層が、不透明化剤を前記第1層ポリエステル重量に対して0.05〜10重量%の範囲で含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリエステルフィルム。
- 前記不透明化剤が、20〜300m2gm-1の範囲にあるBET表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のポリエステルフィルム。
- 前記ホワイトニング剤が硫酸バリウムであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のポリエステルフィルム。

- 前記フィルムが3.0〜10の範囲の光学濃度を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のポリエステルフィルム。
- 前記不透明第1層の厚さが前記ポリエステルフィルムの全体の厚さの5〜60%の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のポリエステルフィルム。
- 前記白色第2層の厚さが20〜150μmの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のポリエステルフィルム。
- 第1の表面と第2の表面を備え2.0を超す光学濃度を有する不透明第1層を形成する工程と、前記不透明第1層の第1の表面に白色第2層を施す工程とを含み、
前記不透明第1層は、カーボンブラックを含む不透明化剤を有し、
