Claims (6)
- 電気化学的方法により、生物学的流体中の対象の検体の濃度を測定でき、試験メーターに挿入されたときに、試験ストリップの情報を読み取るための試験ストリップであって、
最上表面をもつ基板、
前記最上表面上に形成された測定電極、および
前記最上表面上に画定された、少なくとも2つのコンタクトパッド位置
を含み、
前記コンタクトパッド位置のそれぞれが、選択的に導電性層を有し、
導電性層を有するコンタクトパッド位置のそれぞれが、前記測定電極に電気的に連結し、
導電性層を有さないコンタクトパッド位置のそれぞれは、前記測定電極から、電気的に切断され、
それぞれのコンタクトパッド位置の1つに導電性層が存在することによって、第一バイナリビットを示すように試験メーターが動作し、それぞれのコンタクトパッド位置の1つに導電性層が存在しないことによって、第二バイナリビットを示すように試験メーターが動作してなる試験ストリップ。 - 電気化学的方法により、生物学的流体中の対象の検体の濃度を測定でき、試験メーターに挿入されたときに、試験ストリップの情報を読み取るための試験ストリップであって、
表面を有する基板、
少なくとも8つのコンタクトパッド位置とを含み、試験ストリップが試験メーターに連結されると、各々の前記コンタクトパッド位置が同時にそれぞれの試験メーターコネクターコンタクトに接触するよう適合され、
各々の前記コンタクトパッド位置が、製造時に適用される導電性材料を選択的に設けることができ、
少なくとも2つの第1のコンタクトパッド位置が、前記導電性材料を有し、かつ電気的に互いに連結され、
少なくとも2つの第2のコンタクトパッド位置が、前記導電性材料を有し、前記少なくとも2つの第2のコンタクトパッド位置が電気的に互いに連結され、かつ前記少なくとも2つの第1のコンタクトパッド位置から電気的に分離され、
前記少なくとも2つの第1のコンタクトパッド位置間の電気的な連結が、試験メーターによって読み取り可能な第一ビットの情報を提供し、
前記少なくとも2つの第1のコンタクトパッド位置と前記少なくとも2つの第2のコンタクトパッド位置との間の電気的な連結が存在しないことが、試験メーターによって読み取り可能な第二ビットの情報を提供する試験ストリップ。 - 電気化学的方法により、生物学的流体中の対象の検体の濃度を測定でき、試験メーターに挿入されたときに、試験ストリップの情報を読み取るための試験ストリップであって、
表面を有する基板、
少なくとも8つのコンタクトパッド位置とを含み、試験ストリップが試験メーターに連結されると、各々のコンタクトパッド位置が同時に試験メーターコネクターコンタクトに接触するよう適合され、
少なくとも1または2つ以上のコンタクトパッド位置が、製造時に選択的に適用される導電性材料を有し、またはいずれのコンタクトパッド位置も前記導電性材料を有さず、導電性材料を有する各々のコンタクトパッド位置が、電極および導電性材料を含むすべての他のコンタクトパッドに電気的に連結され、および
第1のコンタクトパッド位置に導電性材料が存在することが、試験メーターによって読み取り可能な第一ビットの情報を提供し、第1のコンタクトパッド位置に導電性材料が存在しないことが、試験メーターによって読み取り可能な第二ビットの情報を提供する試験ストリップ。 - それぞれの先に決定されたコンタクトパッド位置において、導電性層が存在するか、またはしないかが、検体の濃度を測定することに影響を与える、試験ストリップの少なくとも1つの特徴にしたがって選択される請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の試験ストリップ。
- 生物学的流体中の対象の検体の濃度を測定するように適合された試験ストリップからデータを読み取る方法であって、
挿入された試験ストリップに接触する少なくとも1つのコネクターコンタクトを有する試験メーターを提供する工程、
試験メーターに挿入されるように適合された試験ストリップを提供する工程であって、該試験ストリップが最上表面を有する基板、および前記基板の最上表面上に画定された少なくとも2つの所定のコンタクトパッド位置とを含み、
各々の前記コンタクトパッド位置にそれぞれのコネクターコンタクトを接触させる工程、
前記コンタクトパッド位置のそれぞれの1つにおいて導電性層が存在することに応じて試験メーター内に第一のバイナリビットを示す工程、および
前記コンタクトパッド位置のそれぞれの1つにおいて導電性層が存在しないことに応じて試験メーター内に第二のバイナリビットを示す工程とを含む試験ストリップからデータを読み取る方法。 - 前記コンタクトパッド位置が、7つ以上であることを特徴とする請求項5記載の方法。
