前記吊り上げ移動装置により吊り上げた前記止水箱を、前記作業船側から補修対象の岸壁の鋼製矢板構造物に近づけるとともに、作業船と岸壁との間から水中における所定の高さ位置に降ろし、該止水箱の前面を鋼製矢板構造物と対向させて、該止水箱の前面を鋼製矢板構造物に当接させるとともに該止水箱内の水を排出して所定の作業空間を確保するように設置して行う補修作業であって、
前記作業船の一方の舷側に沿って複数の止水箱を準備しておき、
