Claims (6)
- ステアリングシャフトを回動可能に収納するステアリングコラムの外側面に、該ステアリングシャフトを回動不能とするステアリングロックユニットを突設すると共に、該ステアリングコラムと、前記ステアリングロックユニットとの連結部に、破断誘発部を形成したステアリングロック装置取付構造であって、
前記ステアリングロックユニットの外側面を被覆するステアリングロック側緩衝部材と、前記ステアリングコラムの下面側を被覆するコラム側緩衝部材とを連設したことを特徴とするステアリングロック装置取付構造。 - 前記ステアリングロック側緩衝部材が、前記破断誘発部からの破断で、前記ステアリングロックユニットと共に、分離して脱落する際に、前記コラム側緩衝部材と離反して、前記ステアリングロックユニットの外側面を被覆した状態を維持することを特徴とする請求項1記載のステアリングロック装置取付構造。
- 前記ステアリングコラムの下面側を被覆するコラム側緩衝部材の一部は、前記破断誘発部の下方に向けて延設される頸部を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のステアリングロック装置取付構造。
- 前記破断誘発部の位置を、前記ステアリングロック側緩衝部材と、前記コラム側緩衝部材との分割位置よりも、前記ステアリングシャフトの径方向で、内側としたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のうち、何れか一項記載のステアリングロック装置取付構造。
- 前記コラム側緩衝部材の一部を、前記ステアリングコラムの外側面から一体に延設されるユニット取付アームに沿って、該ユニット取付アームの下面側を覆うアーム被覆部として延長し、該アーム被覆部のロックユニット側側縁部を、前記破断誘発部の下方に向けて延設される頸部とすると共に、該頸部を前記ステアリングロック側緩衝部材と一部重複させていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のうち、何れか一項記載のステアリングロック装置取付構造。
- 前記ステアリングコラムを被覆するコラムカバー部材は、前記ステアリングシャフトの径方向で、前記破断誘発部よりも外側に位置することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のうち、何れか一項記載のステアリングロック装置取付構造。
