Description
Claims (6)
- 乗員拘束システム(11)で車両(10)の本当の側面衝突と静止状態での誤った衝突でない事象とを区別する方法であって、
a)車両(10)の横方向速度を測定する工程と、
b)乗員拘束システム(11)の電子制御ユニット(12)と一緒に配置された加速度センサー(16)と、車両(10)の支柱又は本体構造内に配置された少なくとも一つの別の加速度センサー(15)とを用いて、車両(10)の加速度を測定する工程と、
c)測定した横方向速度が横方向速度の閾値を上回らない場合、加速度の閾値を大きい方の値に設定し、測定した横方向速度が前記の横方向速度の閾値を上回る場合、前記の加速度の閾値を小さい方の値に設定して、車両(10)の静止状態での誤った衝突でない事象による乗員拘束システム(11)の作動を防止する工程と、
d)加速度センサー(16)と少なくとも一つの別の加速度センサー(15)の中の少なくとも一方が、前記の通り設定された加速度の閾値を上回る加速度を測定した場合、本当の側面衝突であると決定して、乗員拘束システム(11)を作動させる工程と、
を有する方法。 - 車両(10)に配置された低オフセット横方向センサーを用いて、横方向速度を測定する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 車両(10)の本当の側面衝突と静止状態での誤った衝突でない事象とを区別する乗員拘束システム(11)であって、
乗員拘束システム(11)の電子制御ユニット(12)と、
横方向速度センサー(14)と、
電子制御ユニット(12)と一緒に配置された加速度センサー(16)と、
車両(10)の支柱又は本体構造内に配置された少なくとも一つの別の加速度センサー(15)と、
を有し、
横方向速度センサー(14)が、横方向速度の閾値を上回る横方向速度を測定しない場合、加速度の閾値を大きい方の値に設定し、横方向速度センサー(14)が、前記の横方向速度の閾値を上回る横方向速度を測定した場合、前記の加速度の閾値を小さい方の値に設定して、車両(10)の静止状態での誤った衝突でない事象による乗員拘束システム(11)の作動を防止し、
加速度センサー(16)と少なくとも一つの別の加速度センサー(15)の中の少なくとも一方が、前記の通り設定された加速度の閾値を上回る加速度を測定した場合、本当の側面衝突であると決定して、乗員拘束システム(11)を作動させる、
乗員拘束システム。 - 当該の横方向速度センサー(14)が、乗員拘束システム(11)の電子制御ユニット(12)内に配置されている請求項3に記載の乗員拘束システム。
- 当該の横方向速度センサー(14)が、サスペンション制御システムの一部として構成されている請求項3に記載の乗員拘束システム。
- 当該の横方向速度センサー(14)が、ヨーレイトセンサーとして構成されている請求項3に記載の乗員拘束システム。
