Description

The present invention relates to an outdoor unit of a large-scale air conditioner used in a building or the like, and in particular, the air is provided in a housing having air suction ports on three sides, both side surfaces and a rear surface, and an air outlet on an upper surface. The present invention relates to an outdoor unit having a structure in which a heat exchanger is provided so as to face a suction port, and a blower fan is provided so as to face the air outlet.

As a component of the outdoor unit of this type of air conditioner, a heat exchanger, a compressor room, an electrical component box, a blower fan, and the like are mainly cited, and various components have been proposed.
For example, in Patent Document 1, in an outdoor unit of an air conditioner having air suction ports on the front and rear sides and having an air outlet on the upper surface, through holes are provided in a slightly wide column that is erected on both sides of the front surface. An invention is disclosed in which the amount of suction is increased.

JP 11-94308 A JP 2004-85165 A

In the outdoor unit of an air conditioner described in Patent Document 1, heat exchangers are arranged only in the front and rear, and it cannot be said that it is sufficient in terms of compactness and efficiency.
Moreover, the outdoor unit of the air conditioner described in Patent Document 2 is slightly improved by arranging U-shaped heat exchangers on both side surfaces and the back surface. However, in the outdoor unit, it is necessary to check the inside of the electrical component box at the time of shipment or failure, check the refrigerant leak due to welding or seal leakage at the time of shipment from the factory, or check the sensors and electromagnetics during repair. Valve check is required. Therefore, it is necessary to configure so that the location where the refrigerant pipe connected to the heat exchanger and the electromagnetic valve are attached can be observed from the outside. In the present invention, U-shaped heat exchangers are arranged on both sides and the back for compactness. Generally, a compressor room is provided at the lower part on the front side, and an electrical component is provided on the upper part on the front side. Since the product box is arranged and the blower fan is provided on the upper surface, the interior cannot be easily checked.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, while ensuring the mechanical strength of the housing while making the mounting area of the heat exchanger as large as possible, and reducing the overall size from the factory. Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 and 2 are perspective views showing an outdoor unit 10 according to the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the outdoor unit 10 of the present invention includes a substantially rectangular parallelepiped box-shaped housing 11, air inlets 12 are provided on both side surfaces and the back surface, and air outlets on the top surface are provided. Desirably, a blower fan 13 is provided, and the front surface is covered with an upper cover 14 and a lower cover 15. Inside the housing 11, a U-shaped heat exchanger 16 is arranged from the top to the bottom so as to face the air inlet 12, and the inside of the heat exchanger 16 is inside the lower cover 15. Is provided with a compressor chamber 17 in which a compressor and the like are installed. Piping holes 18 for connecting pipes such as refrigerant pipes are provided on the front and lower side surfaces of the housing 11.

In addition, an electrical component box 20 that houses electrical components 19 is provided inside the upper cover 14 provided on the front surface. The electrical component box 20 has a structure that slides in the side surface direction.

FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing the framework of the outdoor unit 10 of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 6, the framework of the outdoor unit 10 of the present invention is provided with four support columns 22 to 25 on the bottom plate 21, a peripheral edge 26 on the top surface, and the support columns 22 and 23 on the front side. The middle bar 34 is coupled to the middle part. Of these, the left support column 23 on the left side as viewed from the front requires a space for sliding the electrical component box 20, so that the thickness of the electrical component box is increased from the corner on the front side to the rear side. It has a configuration that is set backward. Further, the other support column 22 on the right side when viewed from the front side is an oblique support column formed at an angle of approximately 45 ° so as to cut a part of the corner portion from the side surface to the front surface of the housing, An air suction window 27 is provided from the top to the bottom.

FIG. 7A is a perspective view showing the configuration of the heat exchanger 16 provided inside the outdoor unit 10 of the present invention. The heat exchanger 16 is composed of a large number of fins and tubes (refrigerant tubes). In the present embodiment, the heat exchanger 16 has a high configuration in the height direction, so that the two heat exchangers 16a and 16b are replaced by the partition plate 28. Are placed on top of each other.
As shown in FIG. 7B, the heat exchanger 16 has a substantially U-shaped cross section so as to face the air suction ports 12 provided on both side surfaces and the back surface of the housing 11. In addition, the portion facing the inside of the oblique column 22 formed at an angle of approximately 45 ° is formed by extending and bending the heat exchanger 16 so as to have the same angle as the oblique column 22. . This makes it possible to simultaneously improve the heat exchange efficiency while achieving compactness.

FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view of the outdoor unit 10 of the present invention configured as described above. As shown in FIG. 8, a slidable electrical component box 20 is installed inside the front upper cover 14, and the column 23 is positioned on the front side so that it does not get in the way when the electrical component box 20 is slid to the left. It is provided to escape from the corner to the back side by the thickness of the electrical component box . In addition, the oblique column 22 provided at the other corner portion when viewed from the front is formed and attached at an angle of approximately 45 °, and one end portion of the heat exchanger 16 facing the oblique column 22 portion. Is configured to be bent so as to have the same angle as the column 22.

In FIG. 8, the pipe support plate 35 at the end of the heat exchanger 16 is closely attached and fixed to the edge 38 bent to the inside of one of the columns 23 so that air is not sucked. The pipe support plate 36 at the end of the heat exchanger 16 is fixed in close contact with the edge 37 bent to the inside of the column 22 so that air is not sucked. As a result, the air flowing into the heat exchanger 16 always flows in from the air suction port 12 and enters the inside through the heat exchanger 16, and is connected to the support columns 22 and 23 and other inflow paths. Since it is configured so that air does not enter, the heat exchange efficiency is improved.

Next, the slide structure of the electrical component box 20 will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view showing a hanging structure of the electrical component box 20 in the outdoor unit 10 according to the present invention. As shown in FIG. 3, various electrical components 19 are accommodated in the electrical component box 20, and the slidable electrical component box 20 is returned to the state shown in the figure and fixed together with the upper lid 29 by screws.
A flat plate portion 30 projecting vertically upward is formed on the upper part of the electrical component box 20, and a slightly inner portion of the end portion of the flat plate portion 30 is bent in a direction perpendicular to the flat plate portion 30, A suspension hook 31 having a tip bent downward is formed.

On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4A, a window-like slide rail portion 32 for inserting the suspension hook 31 is formed on the side of the casing 11 where the electrical component box 20 is suspended. ing. As shown in FIG. 4B, the electrical component box 20 is accommodated in the housing 11 in a state where the suspension hook 31 is inserted and suspended with respect to the slide rail portion 32, and the flat plate portion. 30 and the screw holes provided in the housing 11 are fixed by screwing.

When checking the refrigerant leak due to welding or seal leakage after shipment from the factory or after installation, or when checking the sensors or solenoid valves during repair, remove the screws, By sliding to the left, as shown in FIG. 1, a gap is created in which the inside of the outdoor unit 10 can be observed from the front, and the check operation can be performed. A stopper 33 is formed on a part of the slide rail portion 32 in order to prevent the electrical component box 20 from being slid more than necessary and becoming unstable during the sliding movement.
As shown in FIG. 5, in the case where two or more outdoor units 10 having the same shape are provided side by side, the oblique column 22 is attached so as to cut a part of the corner from the side surface to the front surface of the housing. The adjacent outdoor unit 10 can be installed with a small gap without interfering with the sliding movement of the electrical component box 20.

If the electrical component box 20 is supported only by the hanging hook 31, a load is applied only to the hanging hook 31, and thus the electrical component box 20 is lifted up by the hanging hook 31. A slide auxiliary plate (not shown) may be provided so that the lower surface abuts against the middle rail 34 on the housing 11 side to reduce the load.

In the previous embodiment, the heat exchanger 19 is extended to the inside of one of the columns 23. However, if there is a space extending to the inside of the other column 22, it may be extended. In this case, it is necessary to provide an air suction window also on the other support column 22.

In the previous embodiment, the case 11 is substantially cubic and only one blower fan 13 is attached. However, the case 11 may be a substantially rectangular parallelepiped and two or more blower fans 13 may be attached. Good.
